Color: Green Envy
I had been using several green shades for a couple of months from another well known brand. It was awful. It would only look pretty til the first wash. Then it would fade rapidly, turning anywhere from a murky teal to, oddly, bright royal blue. I thought perhaps my hair just wasn’t going to hold green. I was having to reapply dye twice a week just to keep it somewhat green. Decided to try this product just to see if it would last a few more washes. It absolutely does! It actually took a good two weeks to start kinda looking teal, and I’ve been washing nearly every day (due to having a job in a barn) and I just use a generic version of good ol’ Tresemme on it. Not even the the shampoo specifically for color…literally just a generic version of tresemme that Aldi makes. So like the cheaper shampoo of the cheap shampoo lol. I’m shocked at how well this is lasting despite my lack of effort to actually preserve the color. I mixed just a dot or two of black with it to make it a deeper forest green and it’s just SO lovely. I was worried this was not going to stay because the first 2 washes, I was alarmed to see so much green color tinting the water running off my hair…the other brand didn’t do that at all, so I thought it was literally just washing out. Nope! I’m so happy with this product and highly recommend!

Color: Enchanted Forest
I love the “amplified” colors because they last long and usually gradually fade into new fun colors! I was expecting enchanted Forrest to be more of a hunter green, and it is really more like a mermaid turquoise (on pre-bleached hair). Still a super fun color! I did it several months ago, and am loving the pale blue-green that is still sticking around :)

I wish the directions said to leave it on longer. I realize it reads, "at least 30 minutes" & I left mine on for 45 minutes. I read other reviews who said they left it on for 2 hours. That was my plan, but I wasn't able to do that. : ( After 45 minutes, there was a LOTTTTT less yellow, but still a hint of it, which I'm sure wouldn't be there if I'd left the toner in longer. I also purchased the "Silver Stiletto" coloring shampoo & conditioner, so I am sure the mild, continued coloring will keep the yellow away. But even after 45 minutes, my natural gray hair is enhanced & the remaining brunette is far cooler. I gave it a 4 for longevity, but really have no basis for that b/c I'm writing this review just hours after I've completed the process. Fingers crossed!!

this is a toner, not a dye its not going to turn your hair white unless your hair was already a pretty light color after bleaching. does lift brassy color very well so long as you follow instructions. Rub it in your hair a bit for better results because it will help with the chemical reaction. don't leave for more than2 hours, please. Remorsefully Love

Color: Purple Haze
I have never colored my hair a fun color on my own. The most I did was a red box dye once as for fun colors. I have done many blonde box dyes and they never turned out well. The first picture, my “before” picture was about 6 months after I got my hair professionally colored. For the second step, I used Eden Body Works clarifying shampoo. Then I used the Manic Panic Flash Lightning 30 kit to lighten my hair as the instructions suggested. As you can see, my hair was already pretty light but the bleaching kit also suggested it to help your hair absorb the color dye. My hair was significantly lighter afterwards even though it’s difficult to tell in the picture. I actually ran out of the Flash Lightning since my hair is so thick! I decided to proceed with the Manic Panic Amplified Purple Haze because it was supposed to be a darker color and I hoped it would cover up the missed areas. I saturated my hair with the dye and I surprisingly had between 1/8th and 1/4th of the bottle of Amplified left whereas I ran out of the Flash Lightning. I immediately applied heat with my hair dryer for 5-7 minutes then let it process for 1 hour. When I rinsed the color out, it was very light purple water and continued to be for 5-10 minutes. I then blow dried my hair and didn’t even have to use a flat iron because it looked so beautiful! I am very happy with the color and feel. I may update my review as time goes on and as it fades. I am very happy with my results and the pictures do not do it justice. It appears darker in real life, but is beautiful either way! I am so happy I did my research and tried this product.

Color: Pillarbox red
First time using this brand, but it was highly recommended by some of my friends! The first picture (green outfit) is what my hair looked like before I used the Pillarbox Red Manic Panic Amplified hair dye. I got my hair done at a salon a month or so ago, and all the color had officially faded. The color that this product put in my hair was phenomenal. And it was really easy to use! Since I just had some highlights, I slathered it in my (gloved) hands and raked it through my hair. Some parts are more red than others, but I’m pretty sure that’s due to how I applied it Be careful though! This does stain. When I washed it out, it left residue in my tub. Just make sure to clean and scrub your tub or sink with your standard bathroom cleaning products immediately after washing out your hair. I’ve got a few red stains on my skin, but if you catch it early enough and scrub it out (I used some baby wipes and water) you should be good to go

This dye has lasted the longest in my hair of any other brand I've used. A little goes a long way as well. Just make sure you're washing and rinsing with cool water and not hot.
