  • My absolute go to product. Don’t waste money at the salons anymore buy this now!!!
Color: B002GENWU8 Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I recently tried this bleaching kit, and I’m really impressed with the results. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process less intimidating. The kit included everything I needed—bleach powder, developer, gloves, and a mixing bowl—so I didn’t have to buy anything extra. After applying, my hair lightened evenly without any patchiness or damage, which was a big relief. I made sure to follow the timing recommendations closely, and my hair still felt healthy and soft afterward. The smell was noticeable but not overpowering, which I appreciated. Overall, this kit gave me professional-level results at home, saving me time and money. If you’re looking to lighten your hair safely and effectively, I definitely recommend giving this kit a try. ... show more

  • One of the best boxed bleaches on the market
Color: Orginal Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This bleach works like a charm, I used it on short dark brown hair, and within 20 minutes it was bleach blonde. Definitely needs to be toned down, but for strictly bleaching it's a fantastic product.

  • It worked better than I thought it would.
Color: Orginal Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I was skeptical at first because I didn't think it was going to do a good job. I wanted it to just at least be decent. It went beyond my expectations is actually a really good kit. My hair isn't dark colored it's actually a light pink or it was and it took it up to almost Platinum so it was really good kit. ... show more

  • Excited!...Update: Happy!
Color: B002GENWU8 Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
** UPDATE with more pictures: This stuff is the most even bleaching flash lightener ive ever used and was VERY consistent with each section. Keeping in mind, i deliberately didn't want to go all the way to my scalp just yet (for future bleaching and fading reasons) AND i did it in very random sections for a better blend up where my roots are as well as having different levels of lightening throughout and every piece lightened evenly with piece bleached at the same time. i bought two but one was enough for half of my head which i thought id need two for due to the length. Granted, i DO have an undercut so the back of my head is shaved but there was even just enough left in the tub to cover the half of it that i would've bleached if it was still there and not only is my hair long in general, but its long even on me as someone who's about 5'10-5'11. i have a lot of hair needless to say, and its EXTREMELY dark (and virgin aside from the very ends on a couple pieces that were bleached and dyed teal 2 years ago almost exactly. Which brings me to my next point...it says 5 levels and literally lightened my hair precisely 5 levels. im just really impressed with the reliability this product turned out to have. I'm glad i chose it. Even the value is awesome because i usually need a ridiculous amount of ANY product for my hair (i used TWO splat bleachings for just my ends two years ago which wasn't even my plan-i wanted to do what im doing now) but now i already have the bleach i need for the next lift after a little repair time goes by. I'm going for a rich eggplanty-blue violet that isn't too dark in low light but with the natural color of my hair, its a process i planned for. I want the color but i also want to keep the integrity of my long hair in tact. Even the ends with previous bleaching had very minimal damage. Its still got a great amount of elasticity and it soft and smooth. I bought All Plex too but I've decided to save it for the second bleaching i'll do n the near future so the only thing ive put on my hair other than the bleach and then shampoo to wash it out, was a VERY small amount of some Husk Coconut oil that i already had and it did great just with that. The ONLY preventative measures of protection I used was not washing my hair for quite awhile...QUITE a while lol...its not the MOST attractive thing but no one can tell if you wear your hair up (all or partially, in any style) and maybe a little dry shampoo for roots when its not all up. But your natural oils can do a whole lot more than any man made product and I wanted the healthiest result. NOTE: i did all of this on a strand test before doing the exact same thing to the rest to be sure of how it would turn out-especially with a product i'm unfamiliar with. so whatever you do for YOUR hair, do a strand test first for ANY product or even any technique that you are new to. **You cant have pretty colorful hair if you fry it all off..regret not leaving it in long enough or regret leaving it in too long. One of those is MUCH easier to correct and deal with** I left mine on for 35min from the time i finished, not from the time i started. I tried to take the pictures in different lighting because the sun wasn't really showing much on the strand test and it was dark by the time it was all finished and dried. My bathroom light is kinda yellow and my bathroom is really small AND the walls are painted a very pale yellow lol so i tried to getting different angles but it doesn't really effect the real life color too much. This is enough for me at this stage of my current color journey. -Initial review: I JUST received my package of two bleaching kits so for now I'm rating it 5 stars overall just based on packaging/delivery and amount of product for price. I plan on using them this week, as soon as i get the first opportunity, so i'll update then. ... show more

  • I much prefer the 30 volume kit...
Color: B002GENWU8 Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
EDIT 3/3/14: Because I'm a noob at hair dye, I reviewed this product a while ago, wrongly assuming I was reviewing the 30 volume Manic Panic bleach kit. I have since ACTUALLY used the 40 volume one, which I will now write a review of here. The review that follows is the correct review for this product, and the review below the break is actually meant for the 30 volume. So last year when I used the 30 volume kit, I dyed my ends into a gradient. I started with mostly thick, straight, medium-dark brown hair. I left different parts of my hair in the bleach for 20, 40, and 60 minutes. The parts that were in bleach for 20 minutes turned a light brown and the parts that were covered for the longest turned a nice medium-light blonde color. This was perfect for then adding some Manic Panic dye and being left with a cool colorful ombre/dip dye look. This year, I went for something similar, but covered more of my hair. Here's what the 40 volume kit did that the 30 volume did not: - It burned. The moment I got it on my neck or face or arm (despite wearing gloves and attempting to be very careful) it burned and I had to call someone in to help me wipe it off. - It damaged my hair. When I dyed my hair last year there was almost no harmful effect, but this year after washing the bleach out my hair was very stiff and straw-like. And I almost never use heat on my hair and use very few products. A few conditions later and it's looking mostly normal, but I wasn't happy about this because... - It didn't lighten nearly as much as the 30 volume kit did. The ends of my hair ended up covered in bleach for 75 minutes (they say for dark brown hair you can go up to 90) and the parts that were covered for the shortest amount of time had it in for about 30 minutes. My hair now goes from my natural dark brown, to a medium brown, to a lighter brown, to a dark brassy blonde color. I'm not extremely happy about how light it got, but because of the way it damaged my hair, I'm scared to re-lighten anytime soon. I know some of this can be attributed to the fact that it is a 40 volume kit and therefore I should have expected the harsh results. But I wasn't pleased with the burning and the damage... when it didn't even lighten my hair all that much! I should've done better research and done 1 or 2 lightening steps with a 20 or 30 volume instead of jumping right in with the 40 volume. Some redeeming points: the shade my hair is makes for a nice ombre to walk around in. It's definitely more subtle than if I had bleached my ends super light. So that's nice, at least. But not great for what my purpose was, which was to later add colored dyes. ----- I decided on a whim to do a self-done dip-dye/ombre color on my hair, and everyone recommended I use Manic Panic. I used this bleach kit on my hair, and not only did it come out the way I wanted it to, but it was pretty easy to use. The kit comes with everything you'll need -- a little tub for mixing and applying, a brush, thin plastic gloves, and the product itself. The gloves felt pretty cheap and after my third or fourth layer of bleach (since I was doing ombre) they started to break, but they held up pretty well until then. I'll echo what others have said in that if you're planning to dye your entire head of hair, and you have a lot of hair, you might want to get two of these bleach kits. I ran out sooner than I thought I would. In the end, the parts of my hair that were covered in the bleach for a total of about an hour turned a yellow blonde color (my original color is a dark brown) and the parts that were covered in the bleach for about 20 minutes turned a light brown. It made for a really great gradient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, and will definitely use it again if I ever plan on bleaching my hair again :) ... show more

  • Great product
Color: Orginal Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This product works great. And it’s easy to just mix up a little bit for touch ups. I started doing my own hair during Covid and have worked my way up to doing foils. This is a lower volume bleach and has never damaged my hair.
