It was easy to use the chalk pens. My kids wanted rainbow hair for st Patrick’s day. They definitely worked better on my son’s blonde hair compared to my daughter’s light brown hair. It was also harder to color the ends. I think this could be done I just didn’t have time before school to figure it out.     • Feels icky but colors fine
I used the pink in my blonde hair and my elementary students thought it was real dye. It made my hair feel awful though. And the application was difficult. I’d recommend getting the type that works like a comb instead.

Bought these for my daughter so she could have colorful hair and they made her hair really gross. Used them once and threw them in the trash after that. I do not recommend these at all!
