My brother-in-law is staying with us and has already lost two pair of the in-the-ear hearing aids! So, I decided to let him try mine/these. He is very hard of hearing so I wasn't sure how well they would work. (I knew I liked them). He was extremely happy on how well he could hear and loves them! (and so far he hasn't lost them!!) They not only fit well but are inconspicuous. AND YOU DON'T NEED AN APP TO USE THEM!! We both love how well they hold a charge and are easy to charge. However, I don't agree that they last 100 hours. But they do last for many days. The case is larger than the in-the-ear ones so it's also easier to find. They are easy to place in your ear and come with additional ear "plugs". The on/off button works well (even though I had to explain this to him when he said they didn't work...) We both like how there are 7 volume adjustments which is very helpful depending on what setting you are in. I had to laugh when he was at a restaurant as he said he thought he could hear everyone's conversation! These did take a little while for me to adjust to them as my hearing loss is borderline so I had to keep adjusting the volume to find the right one. I REALLY like how each ear has it's own volume adjustment - so if your hearing loss isn't identical in each ear (very rare), these allow you to find the right one for each ear. A life-saver! I know they are expensive compared to a number of the in-the-ear ones, but in my mind you get what you pay for. I recommend them!

I have become quite hard of hearing over the last few years. I can hardly hear out of my right ear and just a bit more from my left ear. I have purchased several over the counter hearing aids – most are ear bud style and many of those were had bluetooth. I had a lot of issues finding the right tips to hold in my ears – they’d just fall out. Over several weeks of wearing these other aids, they would become useless due to charging issues, wax guard issues, and more. I was resigned to the fact I was going to need to go and get prescription aids and fitted. I found these and decided to take the chance. They were my first behind the ear type and I decided to ignore they weren’t bluetooth. I was somewhat happy they did not include the complexity of the bluetooth ones I have had in the past. The volume controls are perfect for me – press the button several times (7 volume settings for each ear) to scroll through the volumes to set to the one I want. Each ear is set separately so I can tune my hearing according to the need.There is an easy on off switch for each aid too. Flip them on and off easily. The tips fit so well for me – The ear buds would irritate my ears after a couple hours when I used to use those versions. I found myself only using them when I was in meetings or where I needed to hear. I would always worry about them failing because they often did – These behind the ear hearing aids are excellent for me – they fit me well, they don’t irritate my ears, they don’t bother my ears. I can wear them all day in comfort. Yes, I feel them in my ears – but I barely notice them. The ear bud style felt like my ears were constantly wanting to reject them. Very uncomfortable.These are barely noticeable when i am wearing them. I was impressed with these.
