Perfect dual connector for car music - works despite getting hot
Size: 32GB
I'm giving this USB drive a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. It's exactly what I needed for my setup! I use this drive to store my favorite music for playing in my car, and it works flawlessly for this purpose. The dual connector design is absolutely perfect for my situation - my computer only has USB-A ports while my car only has USB-C, so having both connectors on one drive eliminates the need for any adapters. The metal casing does get quite hot when the car is running, sometimes almost too hot to touch comfortably. However, this heat issue doesn't affect the functionality at all - the drive continues to work perfectly and plays my music without any interruptions or data corruption issues. The build quality feels solid and durable. The dual connector mechanism works smoothly, and both ends connect securely to their respective ports. Transfer speeds are good for loading music files, and the capacity is plenty for my music collection. For anyone dealing with the same USB-A to USB-C compatibility issue, especially for car audio systems, this is an ideal solution. The convenience of not needing separate adapters more than makes up for the heat issue, which is really more of a minor inconvenience than a real problem. Highly recommended for car audio use or any situation where you need both connector types! ... show more

Works perfectly. Very reliable.
Size: 32GB
It works. It's made of steel and aluminum so it's not going to get destroyed easily. No troubles yet with any SanDisk product, it's the only brand usb stick I buy. I've been buying SanDisk since 1995 when they were selling PCMCIA Type 3 hard drives.

Good USB drive at a reasonable price
Size: 32GB
Hello, Amazonians! This is a very good USB drive at a good price. It is small and well-built being constructed of metal. The only issue I had, though, is that after a 7GB copy onto the drive, the drive became very hot. This is the first time I have used this model, so I don't know if it is just this one, or all drives of this model, but if I could give a recommendation to SanDisk, it would be to retool the drive so that it does not get so hot. Otherwise, I enjoy the drive very much, it makes it easy to transfer large files from device to device. ... show more

Small and fast but gets very hot
Size: 32GB
Review Image by Mary
I bought the 32 GB drive and it was smaller than expected...smaller than a house key. It does get VERY hot when plugged into my Mac Mini, even when I'm not transferring files to/from the drive. I mean too hot to touch! I had to put gloves on to remove it. My Mac mini does tend to heat up when I'm working on graphics-heavy files so I guess the heat transfers to the thumb drive. Instead of leaving the unit plugged into my Mac Mini all the time, I think I will just plug it in when I need it so it's not constantly exposed to all that heat. The unit itself looks and feel great but I have to wonder if the heat will eventually cause some damage. ... show more

32GB - Almost Perfect - Using as Kyhi rescue system and transfer data
Size: 32GB
I'm using it as the de facto Kyhi rescue system and copying data. To serve this functionality well, it must be formatted FAT32, and the largest drive you can format with FAT32 and have it work across various Windows versions without changing the boot settings, and work for everything Apple and Linux, is 32GB. The first one I bought is the SanDisk 32GB Ultra Dual Drive Go USB Type-C Flash Drive - SDDDC3-032G-G46. It is plastic but it has been through everything over the past more than a year and there have been no problems with durability. I also bought this metal version for travel which costs only ~$1.30 more. The detent for switching between USB-A and USB-C is much more crisp on the metal one. The problem I ran into with the metal one is slot on the end is smaller than the plastic one so it doesn’t fit my key cable, but should fit any key ring. Since I also write customer files to it during a rescue, I don't want anything annoyingly slow either and this performs well enough in that regard as well and with these drives, the 32GB model is faster than the large ones. ... show more

Good!
Size: 32GB
This USB was incredible! I really like the design but I don't really like the packaging. It was quite hard to open! Can get a bit hot while plugged in but that shouldn't really be an issue.
