I know the five stars speak for themselves, but I do think some of my thoughts might be useful. First, I do have experience with other hearing aids/amplifiers. In 2008 I got a Bernafon unit from Costco (I'm using the singular because I'm deaf in my left ear, so I only need one device for my 'good' ear). It was OK but I stopped using it soon after because I got a job in construction and the two don't mix. When I retired I tried it again but when I went to Costco to ask them to adjust it, they literally laughed at me because it was so 'old.' They no longer had the software to do even a simple volume increase. Then I learned that Costco usually LOCKS their hearing aids so no one else can adjust them. I tried one of those PockeTalker things for the 'aimability' of the microphone, but that was not the fix I'd hoped it would be. Then in late '25 I was researching OTC devices. Most websites had similar lists of recommended brands, but I stumbled on the Oricle in a list from Forbes. I decided that for $100 it was worth a try before I went down the $$$$ rabbit hole. A bit about me: I'm 77, live alone, and really just wanted something to help in social situations. I wasn't expecting anything great, but my prior experience is that NO hearing aid gives you something 'great.' It's not like a pair of glasses. Anyway, these have really surprised me. They have their shortcomings ($100 after all) but for someone like me, I think they do the job. I find the device quite comfortable and easy to adjust on the fly. The build quality seems quite upmarket for the price, and the owner's manual, while pretty pedantic, is pocketable and clear, with exactly ONE typo (a remarkable achievement for a Chinese product). There is a learning curve but that's the norm. Perhaps the best surprise for me is that I can use the left one in my functional right ear, so I always have a backup. So I'd say that unless you need refined adjustability or have the dexterity of someone in mittens, give these a try. I'm very glad I did.

I have 2 other OTC hearing aids and I will say oricle ear sounded the best. The sound is more normal not like the other 2. They dont perform like an expensive hearing aid but I felt like it was an acceptable affordable option. The joke of the house is I got dog hearing. The family was use to saying things even in the room with out me hearing, now when I wore them they had to pay attention. Im not a big fan having thing in my ear so I have not been wearing them too much. I may have used them 10 times since I bought them. My issue has to do with customer service. I recently went to start using them again and the left one was not working. It charged correctly, it powered on, you can press the multi function button and hear the beeps. But no sound was coming through. It was effectively like having an ear plug in but you can hear an amplified static white noise. My wife's voice, or tv was not coming through. I emailed support and with in a minute I was getting a reply. For 45 minutes they kept walking me through the same steps, is the charge charged, is the left hearing aid in the correct charging spot, is it secure when attached, did it fully charge, clean the hearing microphone aid, clean the tip, try adjusting the volume, place back on charger, hold multi function button to manually turn off and place on charger. After 45 minutes to an hour of repeating their commands they said the left ear could be faulty. Now every time I emailed them. i got a response immediately. After they admitted the left ear may be faulty, they went quiet, no more responses. What started off as a positive experience with what was thought with great customer service on a product you were fairly satisfied with turn to a bad experience and a unhappy customer. This is why I give it a 1 star, it doest help that I only have 1 hearing that works. If the company reads this and makes things right, I will update this review.

Debated whether to give 3 or 4 stars. My $5000 Oticon hearing aids - Audiologist prescribed - are 4 years old which I am very happy with, but one button has failed - need to send for repair. Needed something for the couple or so weeks turnaround - these are just amplifiers not true aids. Previously owned Audien aids before the Oticon and Hansaton before that so have had long experience with behind-ear aids. The Oricle aids were cheap so, given the cheapness, maybe they are a 4* for what they are, their price and overall performance. The little charger/holder is convenient but does not snap shut so to carry in your pocket say, you need an elastic band. Comes with three sizes of tips, none were small enough for my canal - I used my Oticon ones, which fitted fine, seems like the wax shield is universal type. It comes with a small brush for cleaning. It took me quite a while to adapt to these:- A. because I haven't used in-ear previously and B. the 2 modes and the volume settings are tough to get right, watching TV using restaurant mode my wife next to me on the couch sounded like she was talking into a bucket. Out on the golf course the wind did cause some whistling issues but they were ok after 18 holes of use - my Oticon are Bluetooth and interfere with my Arccos golfing app so I will use these Oricle ones in future when golfing. The one issue I did find was in changing the volume - you can't go up and down - so you end up getting to max volume - you can't press too fast as this changes the mode but too slow and your ears get blasted - definitely problematic. Set them up in a quiet location first and be aware of this volume issue. The recharging is quick and easy; first time use after charging they did last all day on the single charge. Cosmetically, they are typical of in-ear aids that are relatively hidden in the ear. I like the printed L and R on the aids - no confusion there. I am OK with these as a backup. If I was looking for a more permanent fix but still but low(ish) cost, I would look at ones that are more sophisticated which will likely be around $300.

Easy to use, but the unit for my left ear would not fit, as the ear hole was much smaller than my right ear.

These hearing aids for the low price are ok for some people. I am halfway through my 21 day so called adjustment peroid. They are comfortable, not very unsightly, do amplify sound well but in my case pickup to much background noise. Simple things like when central unit comes on its as loud as tv sound. Sounds from tv, player, etc not good. Bland, no bass. I will try another week but most likly return and except have to pay more to satisfy my needs. They may work for you at a reasonable price.

They claim to have a one year warranty . I bought them on Amazon. After 3 months one of them stopped charging, so I talked to Oricle support. Oricle would not homer the warranty, and used the excuse that Amazon would not acknowledge my purchase. I provided Oricle a copy of the invoice and delivery, and they still would not address my issue. Buyer Beware. Oricle 3 Mager problems with Orical If you purchase them from Amazon Orical may not honor their own warranty. I am saying this from my own experience. I purchased them from Amazon and needed warrantee work but Orical failed to cover them because I purchased them from Amazon. After arguing with Orical about the one year warranty, they came up with the excuses that Amazon could not confirm my purchase even with Amazon’s invoice that I provided to them. The ear domes are only sold Large Medium Small in one group. You need to replace them every month. So when you learn what size works for you will have to order more, and will also have to toss two thirds of your order in the trash as they do not sell just the one size you need.
