I bought this hearing device for my mother-in-law because she often couldn’t hear me talking. Her eardrum was damaged due to a fever in the past, but after visiting the Costco hearing center, we learned that her auditory nerve and other functions were completely fine. However, a good hearing aid costs several thousand dollars, so I wanted to try this cheaper version. She tried it a few times, and it indeed helped her hear sounds she couldn’t hear before. Although the background noise is louder than the one from Costco, it’s understandable since the price difference is about twentyfold. I’m giving it a five-star review because this $200 device actually works. Do NOT purchase for hearing aid. It is VERY annoying to hear with ears and by bone conduction at the same time. I tried it for 3 weeks and YUCK. The other problem is the band, it sticks out a lot and very uncomfortable and gets in the way with high back living room couch and chairs. I needed to use the elastic band and made it work by inserting it through a shortened soda straw so it would not get caught in my long hair. I have a bone conduction headphone with blue tooth for TV that lasts for 8 hours. I will keep this one as a spare because it only works about 3 hours. ... show more

I was shocked! We paid 4K for hearing aids and these work just as good, if not better. My husband is basically deaf and These helped a lot - even more Than the expensive hearing aids!

Works OK as music headphones but not for hearing amplifiers. I have Shokz bone conducting headphones and they are awesome, so I thought I would try these. No comparison to Shokz in sound quality and the hearing aid part is just terrible. Sounds like I'm talking in a tunnel and have to have them at max volume to even hear what others are saying around me. ... show more

They are built by the Chinese , for petite Chinese Adults with a. neck circumference of 4 inches or less . Right out of the box the circumfernce is 4 inches ,. Even a 10 year old American child has a neck greater than 4 inches in circumference. Which means if your a average American Adult when placing around your neck the mechanism that is suppose to lay against your ear or cheek is bent outwards and if you sweat while wearing that moisture will stop the connmection you need to make them work .100% waste of money for any American Adult , I've noticed any paid for review here or YouTube never tell you. the size of the circuference ... show more

If you need some hearing assistance especially in noisy environments this is the ticket. Easy to use, good battery life between charges, comfortable with no annoying device in the ear canal. I love it.
