Bought these for my husband. He uses them. I think that says a lot. His main characteristic that sold him was that his ears were still open and he could hear that way also. Works OK as music headphones but not for hearing amplifiers. I have Shokz bone conducting headphones and they are awesome, so I thought I would try these. No comparison to Shokz in sound quality and the hearing aid part is just terrible. Sounds like I'm talking in a tunnel and have to have them at max volume to even hear what others are saying around me. ... show more

In a place where there is no or low background noise they are excellent. If in a crowd I have trouble zeroing into the one person I am speaking to. The other concern is that when I talk I sound like I am in a tin can. Will use when they are most effective and use my traditional one in other situations. I really like the bone and not in ear. They do need recharging but it is so short a period of time that I can put them on charge while doing something else ... show more

    • My Mother-in-Law Likes It
I bought this hearing device for my mother-in-law because she often couldn’t hear me talking. Her eardrum was damaged due to a fever in the past, but after visiting the Costco hearing center, we learned that her auditory nerve and other functions were completely fine. However, a good hearing aid costs several thousand dollars, so I wanted to try this cheaper version. She tried it a few times, and it indeed helped her hear sounds she couldn’t hear before. Although the background noise is louder than the one from Costco, it’s understandable since the price difference is about twentyfold. I’m giving it a five-star review because this $200 device actually works. Plus, she no longer needs to blast the iPad speakers when watching videos, which means we’re not disturbed anymore. ... show more

Product works well. Battery life is a bit to short. Had to buy two so we could switch out when battery needed charging. One charge last 5-6 hours
