Doc said I don't need hearing aids yet; but I could tell my hearing was not as good as it used to be. I spent over $2,000 USD on my wife's hearing aids and did not want to spend that much without a doctor's recommendation. I bought these on Amazon because they were very inexpensive and had decent reviews. I was definitely pleased with the results once I received them. I can't go without them now. I used them everyday. I was totally shocked have had 6000 dollar aids snd lost them tried several less expensive models some quit charging some sounded tinny etc could not use them. Then i found EAR CENTRIC WOW what a difference. Came with a charge put them in and cannot believe the qualityof sound right away. Adjustments are ez with simple up and down. Will follow up in one month after i wrar them for awhile. Oh btw very light and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect entry hearing aid. If you never had any before it is hard to know what you need and what you like or dislike about hearing aids in general. I may after a year or so be in the position of knowing what I miss in a hearing aid and what I don't need. These Earcentric aids are very simple to learn to use and they work remarkably well for the price point. I am a Medicare counselor with SHIP and I believe many clients give up Traditional Medicare because Medicare Advantage plans offer Hearing Aids. These are less expensive than you would pay from an MA health plan. I no longer accuse my husband of mumbling and no longer insist he "speak up". Nor do I have to ask him to turn up the TV volume or have to have Closed Captions on our Roku device. It is an incredibly freeing and independent experience. I tried a different pair for about the same price from another company and they were NOT the quality of these. I learned that I prefer the behind the ear aids vs the small "shove them in your ear buds". I abandoned those because they weren't as comfortable and I was aware of them most of the time. Also I had an issue charging them. On occasion I would think they were charged but they didn't work. Another thing is the adjustments in volume included using your fingernail to turn it one way or the other. These have a rocker which is easy and simple to adjust the volume. It even tells you when you have reached the lowest volume or the highest volume. It supposedly has 2 modes one for indoors and one for out and about. I don't notice any difference between the two and just turn one off if I am in a noisy environment. I recommend these especially for those wondering if hearing aids will improve their life and those who are new to hearing aids and don't want to spend over $1000 to experience them even with a trial period. Then eventually you may want one that you can hear through your phone or make more adjustments to your environment...or not!

I love these hearing aids! As good as, if not better than the $2000 brands. Very comfortable to wear and don't shake loose when you are active. I can wear sunglasses and a headband without any problem. Extremely easy to operate and recharging is simple and fast. I would buy these again in a heartbeat and have recommended them to all my friends.

I was born hearing impair. So all my life as a child I wore hearing aids. I. Literally dead without them. My personal prescription hearing aids through a hearing specialist broke on both ears so due to lack of money to afford both to be sent off and repair I looked at other options. Came across this and seen a review where someones hearing level was described in similarities to mine. (I can only hear loud thugs, gunshots, slamming or train like noises without hearing aids. No voices or none). So for the price I decided to use my HSA card to pay for these and try them out. I've been wearing these daily for 2 weeks although they're not as great as my prescription ones, they do more than enough to my amazement and give me sounds to hear and voices to talk my children and family members as well as hearing the TV and radio. It is loud with the booster tubes and volume maxed. (I do have to run it down a volume or two clicks down). So if you're in the same boat I have been I would say go for it. I've always had to run batteries in my hearing aids. Love the fact that they are rechargeable. I haven't ran a durability test to see how long they last before needing a charge, however these will be my backups for if I have issues with my newly repair hearing aids I get back when I can afford to get the other fixed. (Costs 300 for 1 hearing aid 600 for both, I only sent 1 off). Final note from a hard of hearing/hearing impair with a Db level of super severe moderate hearing loss they work well, (with boost tube ie. They're just thicker tubes) and I'm used to wearing full custom ear molds to fit and hold sound in my ear canal (these work just fine without that part in my ear) and they stay in and don't lose much sound at all. Overall I can hear for cheap and the first time I have loved an OTC (over the counter) type of hearing aids that does help me with my job life and home life and not make me feel useless. So get them and use them for backups or daily use if you like them even more for yourself. Side note they fit and come with different sizes ear guard (I used the smallest rubber mold that was within the boost packet.)

My dear departed wife bought me a $6900 pair of Beltones some time ago. The planned obsolescence had them fail 3 years later. I was constantly breaking them as they were so gently built and difficult to maintain. I bought these as replacements and 1. Performance is at least as good, 2. They're far more sturdy, 3. The architecture is much easier to maintain. The original pair seems to be reaching it's end of life at 2 years, as the left one is taking longer to charge and sometimes not getting fully charged overnight. Just received my 2nd pair today as I didn't hesitate to buy them again. Saving myself a small fortune.
