There is little doubt that this hearing aid has had a significant impact on my grandfather's day-to-day existence. The fact that he was having trouble following talks, particularly in noisy situations or in settings with a large number of people, was beginning to have an effect on his confidence. On the basis of the really positive evaluations, we made the decision to give this model a go, and we are so happy that we did! The clarity of the sound is quite amazing. My grandfather has observed that the voices seem real and not tinny or artificial, which is something that he has experienced with previous versions that he has tried. In order for him to concentrate on what is truly important, which is the voices of other people, the clever noise reduction feature does an excellent job of filtering out background sounds such as the hum of a fan or the sound of plates being clinked. The process of setting up was very simple. The fact that it only requires one button to operate is a significant benefit for elderly people who may not be particularly knowledgeable about technology. He was able to figure it out as fast as possible, and he is now able to easily alter the volume and settings. Even when worn for long periods of time, the fit is really comfortable. It does not irritate the skin in any way, and it remains firmly in place during the whole day. An exceptional battery life is provided. Considering that it may be kept on standby for up to 80 hours, he does not have to worry about regularly charging it. It is also simple for him to bring it about with him while we are out and about because the case is so tiny. My grandfather has been looking for a smaller hearing aid because he feels uncomfortable when people stare at his ears in public. This one is the right size, small enough to be discreet and still works very well. He says it feels comfortable and almost invisible, even after wearing it for hours. Battery life is also very important to him. He does not like charging things all the time, and this hearing aid lasts for days after one quick charge. That makes it much easier for him to use without any stress. The sound is clear and natural. Background noise is filtered out, and there is no more annoying whistling. My mom has been losing hearing in one ear due to age, and it has started to affect her daily life.
