It works as advertised. Easy on the ears and I hear details I have lost years ago. Very affordable too. Sounds a little tinny but I'll get used to it. I love the fact that it's Bluetooth enabled also. I never miss a phone call.

Last month I decided to give it a try because my hearing has been deteriorating, especially in noisy environments where it's hard to hear people talking. After using this hearing aid, the effect is very obvious, the sound is clear, especially in parties and social occasions, I no longer have to listen hard. It is very comfortable to wear, and it's almost invisible, and the appearance design is simple and not obtrusive. The battery life is also good, and it still has enough power after a day of use. Simply amazing. The quality of these hearing aids is magnificent. I can hear a pin drop. I am really impressed with these. The sound quality for the music is excellent, but I mostly bought them for the hearing aid feature which did not disappoint. The clarity and range of sounds I can hear is astounding. I also appreciate the fact that you can adjust the volume for each hearing aid separately as my hearing is worse in one ear than the other which is the case for most of us and why traditional headphones are not all that good for the hearing part and are just for music. They paired super easy. The battery lasts about 18 hours which is more than enough since I've mainly used them as hearing aids. I have used them for music purposes and it drains the battery a little faster but not by much. I also love the fact that they can be adjusted depending on your surroundings. Like for places with a lot of background noise that you need to isolate those types of noises to be able to concentrate on your actual conversations. If you have trouble hearing the TV or phone conversations but can't afford those pricy ones that are tailored to your hearing loss, these are a great alternative. And even if you do have your hearing aids, these are a really good alternative to have as a backup option. I highly recommend these.

Bottom line: the F-Aid hearing aids performed well for me. I found that I could understand voices and TV as good or even better than my behind the ear, expensive Bernafon hearing aids. I liked the spare domes to allow best fit and the charging case worked well. When I received the F-Aids they were packaged nicely and were charged and ready to go. I promptly tried them out and they made it sound like I was in a tin can and my own voice was too loud. I read the instruction and lowered the volume for each ear respectively until the tin can sound went away. I could understand voices and TV shows very well. When Googling others experience with these I found reference to using the app. However, there was no app available in the Google Play Store & no mention of it in the instructions so I reached out to the vendor via email. They promptly provided a link to download the APK file, but said they no longer promoted the app. After I downloaded the file, I ran it through virustotal.com and the file came back clean so I installed the app. The app allows you to tune the hearing aids to your specific condition. I tried that and it did make a difference, but I ended up going back to factory settings which seemed to work best for me. The F-Aids work with Bluetooth, but I only used it to tune them with the app and since I don't stream music and didn't want to use them to answer calls, I removed the pairing with my Android phone. Hence I can't comment on how well they work in that mode. Finally, my bride didn't like their look and while I was tempted to keep them as a backup, I decided to return them. I would say my experience was positive and I'd recommend them as being worth trying if you're looking for a reasonable priced OTC hearing aids. They're obviously reasonably priced & work well!
