My husband and I both wear expensive audiologist hearing aids. I thought we'd be perfect to review this product. Hearing aids can not get wet or you will ruin them. When we are outside gardening in 90-degree heat, we sweat so we can not wear our hearing aids as they will get wet. We like to have these inexpensive hearing aids so we can hear outside when working. If over-the-counter inexpensive aids get wet, it's not a big deal. My husband's hearing aids cost 6000.00, which is a big deal if they get wet. Also, these are great if your regular hearing aids are charging and you need to hear. At first, I did not like these aids. Then I got the right side working correctly. I had to play a bit to get my left side working. There was lots of squealing with the aids. I changed the domes to a different size, which helped a lot. The domes pop on and off and change easily. Then I set the volume control, and then I played with the "M" button until it seemed set correctly for me. I did have to play with the different settings. I was getting feedback with one aid, and playing with the "M" button fixed that. Some tips: wear these for a few days as the paperwork says. I am used to hearing aids and that doesn't happen right away. Play with it. The sound may not be perfect but this aid has a wide range on it. The size of the domes you are wearing really matters or you will get high pitch squeals. The beige body of the hearing aid fits behind your ears, then gently turn the ear domes to fit into your ear. Use two hands to put them in and to take them off and they will last longer. Do read the paperwork and instructions that come with these aids. It is very well written. The charging of these aids lasts quite a few hours. We both wear glasses and the aid does fit behind your ear even with glasses. I do get a little feedback from my shoulder-length hair moving on the aid a little bit. Not a big deal. My husband and I would both like this hearing aid set. It seems very well made, better than most. Give yourself time to adjust to wearing aids. These are wonderful as a backup pair for us. Highly recommend!

If you have someone in your family needs a little help with their hearing, these are a good addition. They seem to fit very well and are pretty comfortable. They also certainly help more than just the regular sound amplifiers. It is a little hard to adjust as far as things like hearing yourself to chew food, so you may want to take them out while you’re eating for the first few times.

What I love about this is it is not only affordable, but it works well as a hearing aid, as well. I am amazed that my grandma now says she’s happy with this compared to her old one. She feels comfortable. This is so worth buying!
