    • VOLUME CONTROL IS TERRIBLE
Tried these seeing there was only a few bad reviews, well lets just say that they have terrible volume control. You have to go all the way up to get them to the lowest setting to start off with, secondly they pick up and amplify all the wrong sounds. Making it sound as if you are in a wind tunnel at all times. They have no real control of anything what so ever, when you connect them to your phone all it does is cut off the hearing aids and start your music app anytime you touch them, if you have a text or anything it turns off the hairing amplification and gives your alert sound and then a good 2 seconds later they go back to hearing mode. ... show more

    • Okay in quiet areas
Update: Found my Samsung phone has an Amplify Ambient Sound feature. I turned that on, left the phone near the TV, and used a spare set of earbuds. Works great and I can go let the dog out and still listen to the show and conversation in the room where I left the phone. But this device can still be of benefit if your phone can't help, and in situations I mentioned below. Initial review: Everyone's hearing issues are different but for me this adds some clarity but because the device is simple sound amplification, all other noises around me can be very loud including any I make such as coughing or eating. To the point of needing to pull them from my ears. Works best if I am in a room by myself and needing to hear someone call me from another room. Or watching TV by myself although in that situation I could just turn up its volume. Watching TV with my wife, she doesn't need to turn the volume up just for me, but then if she suddenly laughs or sneezes next to me it can be painful. I'm hoping these tide me over until I get to the point of using insurance to get real programmable hearing aids which can cost several thousand dollars. Right now my one ear reduced hearing doesn't justify that expense yet. ... show more

    • Great Hearing Aids
I these got for a friend and they really liked them. Like many (all?) hearing aids there can be an echo effect but that’s normal. Sometimes the controls were a-bit finicky which seems normal for small bluetooth devices as well. From my friend: "They fit my ears comfortably when placed correctly. The sound pickup is sensitive and can pick up sounds like footsteps. The electric charge lasts longer than my other hearing aid. I like the connectivity to bluetooth which enables me to answer phone calls and listen to music. I also like the feature that turns on the hearing aid when removed from the case and turns it off when placed in the case. The method of tapping the earpiece twice to increase the volume is very convenient. The accessories that came withe the product are useful and needed. My only negative comment is that the manual is printed in very small text which is hard for older people to read. Although this can be easily resolved by using a magnifier, it will be better received if it can be read without needing an extra tool. While this hearing aid still has some flaws, I did receive feedback that my family had an increased desire and interest to speak with me now that I could hear them better in conversation at a normal distance instead of 1-2 feet away. I have agreed to wear the hearing aids just before and during meal time and that has improved my social life and family relations. If you are undecided about what brand or type of hearing aid to get, I recommend these simply from the improvement in conversing with family and many frustrations or feeling angry about feeling left out, reducing significantly." ... show more

    • Hearing aids fall out
Because my ears are apparently not a "normal" configuration, the hearing aids fall out when I open and close my jaw. I have written the Seller asking if there are Xtra Large "wings available" but have not received an answer. For the price, I felt that these hearing aids were quite adequate and if adjusted correctly (mode and level), worked well. But I don't want to take the chance that I lose one or both because I can't afford to keep replacing them. I do substitute teaching so I talk quite a lot in a crowd of noisy kids. ... show more

But one ear bud amplified way too much (even with adjusting) and the other ear bud didn't work at all! I returned them.

    • Keep falling out.
Keeps falling out, one fell out while flushing the toilet went down the toilet drain, a very bad product returning item back.
