  • A Huge Upgrade for My Basement Home Theater
I’ve been using this Klipsch Reference 5.2 system with the Denon AVR-S770H for about 6 months, and I’m extremely satisfied. Installation was simple, and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The receiver automatically switches between different input sources, which makes gaming, watching movies, and streaming very convenient. The sound quality, clarity, and bass performance are excellent for the price, and the system truly elevated my basement home theater to another level. On top of that, the design looks fantastic — the black cabinets with the signature copper-colored woofers look sleek and premium, and fit perfectly with a dedicated home theater setup. ... show more

  • Buy It, You'll Love it
1st impressions are huge! Met and exceeded all my expectations! Love this setup! Now let's get to the meat and potatoes! I purchased this setup a week ago, arrived on time, and got everything that is in the main title including the yamaha rx-v6a AVR, let's talk about that first, out of the box it will need a firmware update, easy peasy! Once you have everything hooked up (you will need an updated HDMI EARC cable preferably one that has data capabilities) you'll need to access the onscreen menu and start your setup, connecting to wifi is super easy, the first firmware update does need to be done via USB but again if you have a computer or a friend with one its super easy, download the file, upload to the USB, plug the USB in the front of the yamaha, go into the firmware settings and start the function, it will restart, then you have to power it off once it tells you it is completed! Then unplug it, but do not, i repeat do not do anything while the firmware is uploading and downloading and verifying. Then you can either use the ypao room correction software or set it up manually, so many different settings and functions to play with, shes on the heavy side for a modern AVR. The video enhancer is definitely a plus, I have a Samsung ULED 4k 120h and this function made it look so crisp! BUY IT! I came from a little Samsung soundbar with 2 dinky rear speakers and a wireless sub, and if thats what you have now, and are looking at this! You will not regret it! Now on to the speakers, the atmos upper speakers on the towers take a little adjusting through tge AVR to get the sound coming out, but once you get that figured out, your off to the races! Watch godzilla and kongs a new empire last night! And i am never going to the movie theaters again! This setup with dual subs packs a punch for $1999.99 and pair it all woth the yamaha! Dont let the lower star to no star reviews fool you, again I've only had it for 2 days, if i can update this review in a year I 100% will! The receiver only has a 2 year manufacturers warranty so I did get the aftermarket warranty from Amazon for 3 years just to be on the safe side. But as of now, if your looking at this, I highly recommend it, my living room is 20×15 and have all speakers up front and the spund travels so well for this room, also have vaulted ceilings. Speakers are heavy, same Klipsch quality i remember my dad having! Everything is simple to connect, easy to function and really straight forward even for someone like me who has a dislike for the digital age and cant use computers very well, I was able to figure it out and so will you! BUY THE BANANA PLUGS! Multiple HDMI ports or all your needs, optical audio, etc! Really an all around great setup! ... show more

  • Sharp crisp sound an relatively easy to set up
First of all.. this is a great system for 98% of the real world... I know... You could spend thousands on just a center speaker... But that is not necessary. Price is extremely reasonable given that government policy has devalued your American dollar by more than half.. but the price stayed the same unlike groceries and housing.. but anyways the sound is knock your socks off.. when they came in (7 large boxes) I quickly wired it up outside and turned it up as much as I could take.. I stopped around half volume as I could no longer hear myself yelling to my wife.. note to buyers.. wiring is not included in the package.. I suggest you also buy speaker wire (Klipsch recommends 16g-12g) ,banana plugs, and 2 LFE cables for the (2)subwoofers Bottom line... Go ahead and treat yourself.. value and performance in a great looking package.. not a disappointment ... show more

  • Looks great, sounds great
Great sound quality and strong performance for movies and music. Dialogue is clear, bass is powerful, and the system easily fills a medium-size room and open space. Setup was fairly easy, though fine-tuning the settings took some time to get everything balanced. Once adjusted, it delivers an immersive home theater experience. Very good value overall, just not completely plug-and-play. ... show more

  • Sounds beyond my dreams.
Didn't know something at this price could completely change theater/music in this day and age. This system took it up a whole bunch of notches. Super deal. 7 speakers is a must.

  • Klipsch Kicking Klass ..
A lot of well packaged boxes. Placement and setup were a breeze. Had been mentally ready on where everything would go since it arrived. Hasn't been a week yet but as of now, everything is working and sound is great. Conneted to wifi/internet w/o waiting. Sound check antenna has 6 positions to interface for room chambering during setup. Use it wisely and it sets your listening area precisely. TV, Xbox, movies, tuning, CDs and Technics turntable sound terrific. Klipsch been my go to for ever, even for auto. Denon makes great equipment also. Clean on highs. Subs are moving furniture (no not really but feel great). All via remote. Add that connectivity is smooth, system goes off/standby when I cycle OFF my TV. Considering connecting my Klipsch Choruses as rear speakers. Moving forward I dont anticipate any reason to not appreciate this system. The neighbors will be considering relocating or evicting me from my home I'm sure. Today I'm set ... my purchase hammers! ... show more

  • YES THIS ROCKS! Make friends with neighbors or don’t have any.
This is the first review I’ve ever posted and I’ve just gotta say that the system is just too remarkable and I’ve been searching long enough and spent enough money that writing a review just had to be done. Previously I bought the Sony str-an 1000. System. Didn’t like it a bit. Granted I was using with my some old speaker system and added the Rockville towers which always had a delay since it was routed to an aux l, like outside b system speakers) it was loud but just sucked. The system, both the the speaker and the way the receiver worked with my tv (lg 3d) just became intolerable. Will add l, that this system is now in my bedroom and work great! BUT THIS WHOLE NEW KLIPSH SYSTEM fn rocks. Everything is pretty simple. Still haven’t calibrated with the mic, not sure it’s an option since I haven’t found it yet. But I never went through the Manuel as of yet. I did bridge the towers (thanks to ai) which work fine. I was a bit scared at first. I have other front speakers that serve as the front uppers (think they call it front presence.) then I already had some older down facing subs surrounded with tweeters. I was able to add them too!! So now I got two hard diving SUBS up front and two more (from the old) next to me on the couch. The back speakers were also connectable and sound great with the whole system. Stand alone! Just the two subs with the towers without even connect the other terminals up will f rock your house!! I’m a 72’ audiophile and I was unsure anything would rock like the old days. Not sure my memory serves me correctly, but I have to say I’m satisfied and impressed. Secure your pictures and I’m gonna have to get some of those glue strips to make sure stuff stops falling off shelves and other stuff false over. Thank God I live in a house and I’ve got pretty nice neighbors apparently! Spare money There was multiple shipments so and at a point looked like it was delivered in my Amazon app. So I was worried (although I had a feeling the rest had to be in another shipment ) annd after contacting the seller, they assured me that it was still in another shipment and it did arrive (same time they responded). I received everything. So HAPPY !!! But! during the process I started searching for replacements and I’d just like to add some helpful information that there was another. I believe it was called Denon system that supposedly rocks even harder than the Yamaha they sent me and there was another option that also did don’t remember what it was atm…….well just ask AI and she’ll tell you I’m pretty sure. ... show more
