Hands down the BEST straight amplifier aid. I have moderate one-sided sudden sensorineural hearing loss mostly in vocal range. These were the first devices I bought to assist, and I still reach for them when I just want a volume boost without being tied to my phone. AirPods pros work remarkably well as actual hearing aids individualized to your personal audiogram, but the Drowell ear performance is amazing for the price. There is almost no whistling, great basic amplification with superior speaker quality to any other amplifier I tried. Battery life is LONG, and freedom from being tied to a phone app is great. If you have a more even overall loss across frequencies than I do, these might be all you need. I bought this product years ago and it worked well. This time around the ear plugs make static noises and impossible to hear clearly which is important as i use it for work. The second replacement i ordered was missing the item itself and just came with a box

Very disappointed! The only thing these hearing aids do is amplify background noise. I still couldn't hear my wife 15 feet away. All i could hear was the oscillating fan and the dogs breathing! I can't imagine wearing these in public, especially Downtown Atlanta.

I might be too early to tell, but here goes. Yes, I can hear a little better. It's to big to fit deep enough in the ear canal. and unless you're really paying attention it can fall out and you may not notice. While I can hear a little better, there is a lot of background noise. According to the description, that should go away or lessen. I don't think I want to wait that long. It's only been 2 days though. I'm going with 3 stars because of the noise. I can hear myself breathing, chair creaking and even walking across a laminate floor. ... show more

Bought these for my parents. Thought will all the good reviews these would be amazing. Instead they were dead. No matter how long I charged them, they wouldn't amplify anything when put on. It was just like an ear plug.
