Put this awning in place about 4 months ago. It was easy to install with decent installation instructions. To me a few hours to complete it. Quality is good, relatively sturdy and solid, despite the rather thin aluminum arms and components. I am still careful with stronger winds and retract it when winds are more gusty. Pricing is really competitive for the product it is… hope it holds for 10+ years!

Took some time to assemble but worth it. An hour of leisurely work. But instructions were outstanding. Hardest part was mounting but with 2 people and making sue of your measurements you will be fine. Installed on my wooden tiki bar to provide some cover during heavy rain. Tried it out and just had it halfway out and worked perfectly. Even in heavy gusts of wind or didn't waver or budge. But note what height you mount caise it slopes. I have it only 7 feet above and when open completely you will have to duck under of you are 6 feet. No biggie. Better the coverage. Wife loves it. Very attractive and will keep my bar friends dry and out of the sun. Would recommend highly.

Pretty good. Not $unsetter quality but not as $$ either. I had to use additional brackets to accommodate my roof eve pitch, electric conduits, and storm shutter. Couldn't drill that high! Aluminum frame and fabric are nice. My only issue is that the right extender arm is pitched lower than the left one despite a level and square installation. I have to devise a shim or reach out for a replacement arm. It still works..just doesn't clear the top of the storm shutter. Not a deal breaker. Hope it lasts!

Very easy to install. We don’t use it all the way open, so it’s been up for 6 months through all types of Florida storms. Love this product. It it can take the Florida heat and weather, then you know you’re all set.

While the product was fine it was the wrong shade of beige for us we attempted to return it only to learn it would cost us more in shipping cost than the product itself…company offered a 10% compensation for our trouble and then offered to pay half which was still over $60. Beware of return policy

We stuggled sith installation due to directions. It is like IKEA furniture, just pictures. We did figure it out and we love them. Watch youtube videos to help. The expanders/bolts are an odd size so we used some large lag bolts to sink into the 4x4 and that worked best. Make sure your brackets are very level and straight.

The directions for putting this thing together were pretty unclear. Even the diagrams were difficult to understand. Doesnt open and close very well, seems to stick in places, and at one point the arm on one side like slingshot itself to the center during opening creating an issue. Overall you get what you pay for and it is working for my use. We did have to supply our own lag bolts as the included hardware was not long enough to attach to my home.

Installed this over the front of the garage to provide shade when working on a car or even working in the garage. It does a great job of blocking out the sun and keeping things a lot cooler. It also closes up tight when not needed and looks good.
