Filled with water placed it around the umbrella base and it works like a charm. The umbrella has been steady and it looks nice, too. Easy to move as well. Very sturdy and withstands many high winds!

The footprint of this cantilever umbrella base is smaller than others. It does not mean it can't hold down the umbrella. In fact, it is slighly thicker than most. Thus it still has the weight to keep the umbrella stable. The modular design is not something new, but it is good that the material is durable to UV and water. So it should last a while. I also found the thicker design is easier for sand as a filler comparing to others. The seller is very proactive in keeping the customers satisfied. I would give them a five-star for that.
