Just opened it and set it up, outside of course because who wants bad luck? No seriously, this is a large heavy umbrella and it looks really nice. I'm disappointed the plastic brown ring around the pole is split. It was on the pole already when I took the umbrella out of the box, so not sure how manufacturing didn't notice that, but I don't think it's necessary for the operation of the umbrella thankfully. You'll need a heavy umbrella base for this. I got a 30 pound metal umbrella base for it. I'll update my review when I've had the umbrella in use for a while.

Beautiful umbrella BUT it didn’t last very long. Never used the solar lights. We rarely used it. After 2 months since purchase I opened it up one day and the top part of the umbrella came apart. Screws ( not long enough for support) fell out and the solar mechanism broke. The cord that controls the solar panel came out and could not be fixed. Solar lights will not work. Screw are replaceable but now not sturdy. Seller offered only half of a refund. Funny it’s always after 30 days some items don’t last.
