Finally got around to doing a review for this umbrella. I purchased this umbrella in March 2021 and either we have been very lucky or this is actually a decent umbrella. It’s up on our deck near the pool from mid spring until mid to late fall in central Illinois, it gets put away during the winter. From day one it has been easy to use and has worked perfectly with two different patio sets. We have the tan colored one and it has not faded too bad for being over 5 years old. Still works great and has held up well, even the solar lights still work (may not be as bright as they once were but still put off enough light to see when dark out). It’s been out in some good storms and we weren’t always good about folding it down when we should but it has taken the beatings pretty well. It is a little wobbly at the tilt point now and a couple of small holes in the fabric at some of the pinch points, but still keeps the water off us. But all in all it has held up well for us. Alas as I am writing this we have decided to order a new one of the exact same one(it’s even $5.00 cheaper) and I hope it lasts as well as this one did. Will definitely report back with my findings on this new one. ... show more

Great umbrella and the solar lights are a nice upgrade. They are not super bright which I appreciate since I don’t want to attract too many bugs. Reasonably priced. I purchased 3. 2 for my pier so I can update later to see how they hold up. It was pretty windy yesterday and they were holding up well and felt very stable. I did not have them opened. One solar panel was broken when received. They sent a replacement right away and I did not have to wait until they received the old one back. I appreciated that. Especially since the box was damaged the first time. I will definitely purchase again. ... show more

This is my second of the same very pretty cerulean blue umbrella. The last one got a hole in it during storage, so we replaced with a new one of the same. But this one broke after closing only 3 times prior to rain. I had no problems with the first I had of this, so I'm disappointed this one was so chintzy. Color & the lights worked well, but I'm not sure if the white rope inside the top center was defective from the get-go or if this was used? It never seemed to be as easy to crank open/close. Sometimes it only made a noise but nothing moved up/down. We could no longer close it. A week later we just threw it out since it is the end of the Ohio summer season. Can't deal with this, so I might buy a different brand next time. *UPDATED 6/1/26 - we tried this exact umbrella one more time. It blew over the first time we opened it! the entire base and table blew with it. I think because the tilt is up so high that makes a difference. What a waste of money! I will NEVER buy this brand again. I will find one that has the tilt button lower on the pole, as this does not seem stable enough any longer* ... show more

I ordered the rust colored umbrella. Very easy to assemble and goes great with my cushions. I previously ordered a different color and had to return because it didn’t match my Espresso cushions I bought on Amazon. The return was great. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star is because it did have slight damage, but I am going to keep it. The lights give it a subtle ambiance and night.
