I was hesitant to get this considering the price for "just an umbrella" but this thing is STRONG, I live in the high desert where wind can get insane but this thing will hold steady pretty well, the magnet is very strong as well. I was using it as a mobile forklift mechanic, but if you are going to use it on your car or anything pretty, I would just recommend that you put a piece of felt or a rag at least between the magnet and your paint. ... show more
