Everyone wants 5 star reviews, I get it. This umbrella has a thin canopy that lets a lot of brightness through, but otherwise is fine. I don't know what possessed me to buy a $50 umbrella and hope for quality. Honestly the value they deliver is good and the umbrella looks good and functions good and I can see why they sell a lot of them. It was a nice umbrella for the price, but when It was opened, it was very straight and not curved slightly at the end of each support. My deck is in direct sun most of the day and my umbrella purchased a few years ago gave much more shade. I love flowers and plants on my deck to attract hummingbirds, and I need more shade from sunrise to about 2:00 in the afternoon. I had to add a sun sail to get the shade I needed. However, it is of good quality for the price. I discovered that "market umbrellas" tend to be flatter when opened. If shade is not an issue, good value!! ... show more

This is a beautiful umbrella. The quality of the fabric is impressive. The colors haven't faded. We did notice that once we pressed the button to tilt it, it never went back to being completely straight. It isn't a huge tilt but it makes you constantly trying to straighten it. It wouldn't put me off of buying another one nor recommending it. Overall it's very nice. We loved the brightness of the colors and not having it fade after a hot summer is a big plus! ... show more

Very easy to assemble. Well built and larger than expected. Tilts easily and the open and close mechanism operates smoothly. Was less expensive than the old one from the big box store that was smaller and broke after a few months. Recommend

Umbrella was easy to un-box, easy to install and looks good. However, I would like to see thicker material for more shade. The ad did not specify the thickness but the price was good so it was not a total surprise
