So far, so good. The teal is very pretty and the umbrella seems sturdy. I put it in a 40lb. base. This is the first umbrella where I’ve needed to attach the end of the ribs and fabric. I did need to use a rubber mallet to get a few of the ribs in, but not too tough.

There is more assembly required to inset extensions that easily button press to each spoke. The box and packaging did not seem severely damaged but the cap on top of the umbrella was cracked. I promptly emailed the support address. Two days later I was about to delete an email that identified itself as a person rather than Garvey. I called the toll free number. The rep offered to replace the part. I explained that the cap does not screw off. He was going to refer my concern and get back to me. After two days, I returned it. It should have a screw top so the fabric can be replaced or changed. ... show more
