I've had better hearing aids in the past, but not at this price and for that reason I felt they were worth 5 stars. What I like: These are programable based on the results of apps hearing test. I had my ears tested recently and was pleased that the built in hearing test came up with results that were quite similar to those results that I got from an audiologist. Note, use separate plug-in headphones or Bluetooth earbuds when taking the hearing test. This set of hearing aids came with an AC adaptor, cable, extra domes, cleaning cloth and instructions. I'm not getting any whistling feedback unless I cup my hands over my ears. Since I don't normally walk around like that, I am very satisfied with the sound. They fully charge in under 5 hours and last about 10 hours on a single charge. Possible cons: The connection with the app is a little sketchy however it is rock solid with my phone. I noticed that there were no wax filters included and realized that's because these hearing aids don't use any. I guess time will tell if that is going to be an issue or not. The app was ideal in developing a profile for me but doesn't seem very useful afterwards. It's much more convenient at that point to simply use the hearing aid control buttons. Overall impression: They did not cost an arm and a leg and for that cost, I thought that they were well worth it. They fit good and they are comfortable to wear all day long. I would feel very comfortable recommending them to a friend.

Pros: connect to phones Bluetooth and listen to videos, etc. when dialed in correctly they do help you hear things that would normally blend in with the background. Cons: made in china...the little voice that says connected is a Chinese lady speaking English. So no they are not made in Colorado. Pairing both together is a nightmare. you have to connect them as a separate device so You have two Bluetooth connections independently and the left I can never seem to get to work right it just is super loud and squeals. The app has minimal adjustment i would say. Nobody can hear you if you answer the phone on them. If you have some extra hsa money laying around and want to try some OTC hearing aids before buying the real deal sure...give them a try. But this is not that great.

There is an option in the app to have hearing checked. I thought this was wicked cool; however, either there is an issue with the technology or I haven’t figured out how to administer the test to both ears, one after the other. I can only get one side checked. To get both sides checked, I have to make sure the left side can hear the sounds, then follow through with the testing. Next, I have to turn off both hearing aids, then turn on the right hearing aid until it registers as connected. Albeit, I am told that both are connected when I do this. They both seem to work well in tandem except for when it comes to getting my hearing checked. On the plus side, the restaurant mode is terrific! Actually, so are the traffic and wind modes. It is nice to have the option to cancel out sounds that can interfere with the sounds I want to hear. There is a great deal of literature that accompanies the hearing aids and everything reads with clarity and is easy to understand. There seems to always be a number of hoops to jump through when it comes to blue tooth technology, but in this case, it is well worth the effort. I absolutely love that I can hear calls from my phone (even if I have to speak into the phone), listen to music, youtube, podcasts, etc. These are like the top-of-the-line earbuds and can help with some moderate hearing loss, too! The hearing aid comes with a bunch of buds and a tool to help keep things clean. However, I do find that since I also wear glasses, that the hearing aids can sometimes feel like they loosen up and may fall out; although, I have always caught this before an aid drops. The sounds made when I adjust my glasses, change the volume or turn on/off the hearing aid are super loud and annoying. I also found volume control to be sticky and unpredictable, whether I am trying to make volume changes on the app, the hearing aids or with my phone volume control. I figured that these hearing aids would be China made, even if the company is based in Switzerland. I have found that transparency can be an issue when it comes to the country of production.

These are the best hearing aids I've ever bought. I've been buying those cheap ones that cost like $20 and they're always feel weird in the ear. It took me a while to get them set up and to get them app that comes with it connected but once I did I got the level set for my ears they were great. It takes a c-type charger cable and a regular charger that comes with the hearing aids. Which is kind of weird because nobody does that anymore give you the charger. Anyway got them charged up got them connected to my phone and I even forgot that I had them in they were great they are great. Worth the money time and effort. The little box that it comes in can be charged up and you leave your hearing aids in them at night and a charger without having a line connected to a plug. There's a little blue light that tells you when it's charging by flashing and when it's fully charged with the cable connected it just turned blue. The same with the hearing aids when you put them in they Flash until they're charged up these are great what can I say I'm happy with them
