I would like the option of a thicker version approximately .10-.11 millimeters, as this paper is a little thin. Other than that, its great and is exactly what is advertised. You can print off something on both sides (I use lasorjet) and then run it through the was and dryer, and there is little wear. All in all, this is good paper.

If you’re wondering, yes, this is that paper. If you know, you know. Finding high-quality paper like this is nearly impossible nowadays, and if it does exist, it usually costs significantly more than what’s listed here. The texture, durability, and overall feel of this paper are exceptional. While I don’t use it for its "intended" purpose, I personally love handwriting letters to friends and loved ones, and this paper adds a touch of elegance and permanence to every note. Unlike many modern papers that degrade over time, this one is built to last a lifetime. While ink may not always be waterproof, the paper itself will stand the test of time. When I saw this, I got excited. This paper looked like the perfect way to combine artwork and printer paper. TEXTURE This paper is amazing. It is thin like velum, but it has fiber in it similar to the paper money in the US. The one side is very smooth. The other side has a rough sort of texture like US dollar money has. WATERCOLOR This paper is fantastic for doing watercolor on. What I got this for was to do watercolor pencils on. I found in the meanwhile that doing washes on this paper works beautifully- you just have to tape the edges down while it dries. SOAKING THROUGH You might be wondering how I plan to do this. If I am going to print on this, I will use laser printers to do it. Then after printing, I will do a design with watercolor pencils or even watercolor paints. The ink won't move and the watercolor will react well to the paper. It is a really fantastic way to combine creativity and fine arts with business side of printing. I did not find that the water soaks through the other side if it is not overburdened with heavy water based washes. I took a photo to show you of the water activated pencils and then the back after quite a bit of water on the pencils. You can hardly see it soak through the back. WASHES This also will work if I take the edges of the paper down and do light watercolor washes on it. Then I will let it dry so it will remain flat. Once that happens, I can print on it if the paint load is not heavy. BASIC PRINTING Of course basic printing is going to work well on this. It will look somewhat thin, but it will look classy and stand out if handled right. THE BOTTOM LINE This is delightful paper. I am going to get a lot of use out of this combining watercolor, colored pencils, and conventional printing. I can also use pen and ink, but wanted to comment on the printing capabilities. MY RATING FIVE STARS. This really opens up possibilities for me as an artist. I am VERY excited about this paper. I love that I can do my artwork and combine it with printing vs hand lettering (which I can also do) if I want to. Highly recommended if you are like me and want a good combination paper. I can not do this type of thing on any other printer paper. PHOTOS I have photos for you of watercolor pencils using underlying texture to color on, smooth backing to color on and then water activated pencil. The next photo shows the back which is barely showing through and is still not wet even after adding water to the pencils on the front. The last photo is a close up of the texture to show you the fibers in the paper which add to the character.
