Great size, but deflated to about half it's inflated size within a few days. The pool is closed and the cover secured, so I'm not going to open it to refill the pillow. Very disappointing, I was almost going to buy 4 more to completely raise the cover off the pool surface, but that would be disastrous. Edit: If I could give this pillow negative stars, I would. It was $30 thrown away. At least if I bought it at my local pool store, I could return it. It is completely deflated and somewhere under the pool cover. The cover is all screwed up with wrinkles and creases from being fit with the pillow inflated under it. So now there are leaves and dirt trapped in the creases. This is EXACTLY OPPOSITE the purpose the pillow was supposed to serve, which was to keep the cover somewhat elevated. . ... show more

Followed all of the instructions very carefully. The pillow lost about two thirds of its air, quite suddenly, about midway through the first month. We assumed the plug must have popped open, but the pillow lost no more air than that for the remainder of the off-season, so we were a little confused as to what might have happened. Unfortunately, the air loss was sufficient to let most of our cover sink, defeating the purpose of having the pillow at all. Upon opening, we inspected the pillow - the plug was intact and we could find no punctures or tears to explain why it had lost most of its air (we're truly stymied) or anything to explain why or how it lost most of its air but retained about a third. This might be a great solution for someone else, in which case it's an affordable one and certainly worth a try if, like us, your other options are expensive. It just wasn't a solution that worked for us... still glad we tried it, though. ... show more

DON’T BUY!!!! So, we bought these last year. Two out of the three deflated during the middle of winter. We thought maybe we didn’t seal the valves properly. Fast forward to yesterday. We were starting to close the pool. Well, the same two didn’t hold air overnight. So, they are defective. I contacted the company today to let them know and hope to get a replacement. Noooooooooooo. I was promptly told that I was outside the 60 day manufacturer warranty ... even though this is a seasonal item. My in-laws also bought a few of these pillows and had the same problem. So, my recommendation is don’t buy these!!!!! They don’t stand behind their product. And if you a ask for a refund or a replacement... you better hope it’s within the 60 days. ... show more

I bought this thing in Oct. It is hard to inflate using a shop vac exhaust. The valve is too small to get even a narrow tube to fit. There are no instructions. The valve is VERY difficult to close/seal. I've had it in the pool just over a month and most of the air has leaked. I re-inflated it yesterday so we'll see how well it hold up. I am not at all impressed with the quality of this product. I do not recommend it. ... show more

This product work like it was designed to do but it still didn't keep the water off of the pool cover. It is hard to keep it in place so it keeps moving under the cover and lets there be a big puddle on one side. I wish it had more grommets in order to tie it off to the pool.
