I really like this broom, it is soft and does a good job of sweeping up dirt. I am a little leery of the two piece plastic stick, came un screwed but tightened it again and we will see. the dust pan though is weird and cumbersome, I image the idea is that it will sit on the floor at an angle to allow sweeping in, but it is awkward to store and I am not sure really more useful/helpful. but the broom itself is great. I've never had a broom I really liked until this one. Other broom bristles are always too flimsy or start sticking out in every direction soon. Or the head keeps unscrewing. This one is built solid. I have several pets and a jungle of plants, so I have to sweep at least 3 rooms every day. I detest sweeping. But this broom moves everything across the floor easily, even the pet hair. I've had it a couple months now and no sign of bristles bending sideways. The dust pan could stand to be a bit wider instead of the exact width of the broom. That would make it easier to sweep everything in. It is however, very sturdy. I just use my other, wider, pan instead. I definitely recommend the broom and the pan is pretty good too. ... show more
