I finally installed this fresh air intake kit after my pellet stove spent two winters acting like it was trying to suffocate itself in a sealed Ziploc bag. Before this magical bendy snake of salvation arrived, my stove would burp smoke back into the living room every time the wife ran the bathroom fan or someone opened the front door. It was like living with a moody teenager who chain-smokes and hates fresh air. Day 1 with the kit: hooked it up (took maybe 20 minutes because the clamps grip like they owe me money and the flex pipe bends smoother than my excuses for not doing yard work). Flipped the stove on and—holy oxygen Batman—the flames went from “lazy campfire” to “controlled thermonuclear reaction.” Pellets burn cleaner, hotter, and longer. My electric bill dropped because the house heater isn’t fighting negative pressure anymore. The stove doesn’t gasp like Darth Vader with asthma. No more mystery drafts sucking warm air out of the room like a needy ex. The outside hood? Looks like a tiny cyberpunk exhaust port and has kept every squirrel, mouse, and ambitious leaf from turning my burn pot into a rodent Airbnb. The screen is fine mesh—nothing gets in except pure, crisp Arkansas winter air (which, let’s be honest, is mostly just cold regret and the smell of distant pine). Downsides? None. Unless you count the fact that now my stove is more efficient than I am, and it’s judging me silently while I eat Cheetos on the couch. This kit didn’t just fix my pellet stove—it gave it therapy, better lungs, and a new lease on life. If you don’t buy this, you’re basically committing combustion manslaughter. 10/10 would snake through the wall again. My stove thanks you. My wife thanks you. My wallet thanks you (because we’re burning way fewer pellets now).

It's a kit. I bought two of these because my Air intake is 7 feet long. For the price it's hard to beat this kit. The tubing is a wee bit chinzy but it does work. In case you're wondering, that's my new Comfortbilt HP40 Alpine pellet stove ! I wrote a review on that if anyone's interested. Great lil stove ! Oh and my new Rheem 29 gallon natural gas Hot water heater and my new little dinky Whirlpool 18,000 grain water softener. Yes, living small is satisfying. My home is 960 sq ft and these small appliances fit perfectly 👍

Works good, hose clamp to inlet screen seems a little sub par, but overall this works good. Allows the stove to get the air it needs to run properly. Would buy again.
