Quality is good, seems durable. Size is adequate for standard pool ladder. If heavy use or kids splashing around the mat doesn’t stay put very well and edges are prone to turning up. (See photo)

The Swimming Pool Ladder Mat is a decent product that provides some extra protection between the ladder and the pool surface. The non-slip texture is a nice feature and helps add a little more stability when stepping in and out of the pool. The material feels reasonably durable and the size is convenient for most pool ladder steps. However, I was disappointed that the mat does not stay in place very well. It tends to roll up, shift around, and needs to be adjusted frequently, which can be annoying during regular pool use. I expected it to grip the surface better and remain positioned under the ladder. Overall, it does help protect the pool area, but the constant moving and rolling keeps it from being a perfect solution. It works, but it would be much better if it had a stronger non-slip backing or a way to secure it in place.

I almost returned this right after opening. It seemed very flimsy and thin. Also it appeared worn and had white on the creases. But I was having people over in the pool and needed something right away to keep the ladder from wearing down the pool liner. Surprisingly this little pad works very well! It not only stays on the bottom but stays firmly in place under the ladder unless I want to move it.
