Once I started using it, I thought I better buy two or three more - the bristles are firm without being too stiff, which really allows you to get in corners and crevices, on stairs, and trimwork. We have cats and dogs, and this works great - the dustpan stands alone, allows you to clean off the bristles with the dustpan comb, and is lightweight enough to easily move. I'm 5'5" and it is just the right height for me, so I'm not hunched over using it. This broom is very easy to assemble and it’s pretty direct how to put it together. I have hard wood floors and it sweeps up all the tiny dirt particles and dust off the floor. It’s good to use around those small spaces and corners that’s usually difficult for a regular broom to pick up. It maneuvers very easily. It’s not bulky to use other than the dust pan. It does have some design errors to it such as it gets confusing which side of the broom to sweep with because of the angle it’s cut at. You have to get used to it or it might really irritate you. At times the function comes loose and you’ll need to retighten it back up. It’s pretty lengthy too so it won’t strain your back as much as maybe other ones do. It doesn’t take up too much room, I fit mine in a corner. It’s good to use for small living spaces, such as an apartment. It’s much better than using a regular old broom for sure and it’s worth the buy. I highly recommend buying it if you don’t mind its design flaws. ... show more

I never leave Amazon reviews in my entire life, but I have been so impressed since purchasing this broom a month and a half ago that I had to come back to leave one. It is a really great broom, and has all the features that make sweeping a literal breeze. It is tall, as is the dustbin, so you are not crouching. It has wide teeth attached to the dust pan for you to clean the brush easily, and the dustpan is a foldable mechanism so that you can store it taking up less space. And, perhaps most importantly, the brushes are very high quality and dense, so it does an incredible job of collecting dust, (and anything else!). I’ve used it to clean broken glass twice, and was very satisfied that it picked up the vast majority of broken shards. I’ve bought a dozen or more home items recently because I’ve just moved, and I find myself most impressed and coming back again and again to this broom. I expect it to extend the shelf life of my vacuum cleaner because it does such a great job. Thank you to the designers and workers who put so much thought and effort into creating this broom! It really helps keep homes so clean. If you, like me (as I assume you are given you are are perusing the review section of a broom on Amazon) believe that cleanliness is next to godliness, than I strongly recommend this broom. I have had plastic brooms with jointed handles before and they seemed flimsy and tended to come unscrewed or loose. This nests very nicely with the accompanying dust pan which can be used standing up without bending and straining your back. It and the broom are well designed and pick up very cleanly. Frankly I was impressed due to my past experiences with this kind of broom. I use it in my wood shop and it cleans up the scattered fine sawdust very well and saves my back and my dust extractor bin doesn't have to be empied as often. ... show more
