I think I have almost every wine saver ever made that costs under $300. At first, I was very disappointed in this wine saver. It would suck air out of the bottle, but when you took it off the bottle, the “cork” came with it. Beyond frustrating! I tried again recently. Interestingly enough, the wine got sucked out of the bottle and something distracted me, so I left the device sitting on top of the bottle. A couple of minutes later, i lifted it off but it did not pull out the cork…there was no resistance. So, that’s the secret. So here is how I work with this now: I push in the silicone cork as far in as I can, then place the vacuum on top of it. I hold it down and push the button. Once it stops, I leave the vacuum on the cork. In a couple of minutes, it will simply lift off and it won’t pull the cork out of the bottle. Then, when you open it again, you will feel the resistance when you remove the cork. I am still not convinced it’s the best wine saver on the market, but it is decent.

Ok, I’m not a wine connoisseur here, however I received some champagne that I wanted to recork and decided to give this product a whirl. I love the appearance of the black sleek design. It’s made of a heavy duty plastic which feels really durable. Size was as expected. I really enjoy that you can easily mark the day you opened the bottle with the little dial on the top. My biggest pet peeve is not having enough clarification on the suction of this cork. I watched the video and it isn’t super specific on how many times it’s necessary to push the button for proper suction. I’ve tried 3 times and I’ve tried 10 times and 10 only feels a little bit more sturdy than 3. I haven’t used this for regular wine yet, but for champagne I will say the first time I take off this black cork it still has a good amount of fizz, but the second time my fizz level drops a good amount. Flavor still tastes great. I would recommend to others!

These work amazing! Kept wine fresh for _weeks_ in the fridge! I’ve not tried sparkling so can’t speak to preserving bubbles, but flavor, aroma, and overall freshness stayed excellent for over a month opening it just a few times during that span. Pressing the top with the dial set to max takes almost no effort and a dozen presses at most to reach where it can’t even rise enough to press back down anymore, really more like half a dozen if you plan to use it up sooner. Build quality and materials are excellent and looking inside its cap you can see how leaks become impossible with this thing as long as you don’t disturb the snug fit (i.e. don’t bend or rotate it around the top). Outstanding product, thrilled to have found a high-quality implementation of this idea!

These are a very cool idea. Keep your opened 1.75 bottle of favorite wine fresher than a cork alone. The vacuum works good. Takes A LOT more pumps to create a suction than the instructions suggest, but it gets there. The reason I put 3 stars is because like any item around wine, the suction top gets sticky from wine & you have to soak it in hot water a while to get the old wine out. This works for quite a few months but eventually when shaking out the suction tops, after soaking for a while, you will see dark brown liquid come out from the internal mechanism rusting. Took mine about 6 to 8 months to do this. So I threw it out & ordered more. This suggests that the internal spring may not be stainless steel or something in there. So if your good with a 6 to 8 month life for the money, then they are worth it.

I drink a glass or two of wine everyday, and it sucks having to open an entire bottle and it became funky the next day. The 375 ml bottle are an option, but they are expensive. My local stores sell them for nearly the same price as the full bottle. I gave this a try and it is amazing. I open a bottle decant 2 glass worth of wine and place this device on. Quick and simple. Wine taste fresh the next day, and it says it can keep the wine fresh about a week. Normally I will finish a bottle by day 3 so I haven't gotten to the 7th day. Fantastic device, Now I can open a nice bottle of Petrus and enjoy it over the course of a few days and not have to slam it in one sitting.

This stopper does seem to work adequately, although I haven’t yet tested its abilities with a slightly base elevated bottle on my rack. For the price I believe the two stopper item will serve the amateur well, especially in eliminating the often frustrating recorkage ritual. It does take a little more time to dry in its entirety thoroughly after a trip in the dishwasher, but is very easy to apply to the neck of the bottle. Well priced.
