I bought a similar item that took on water immediately, I had two and had to send them both back. Then I decided to try these. I've had no problem, they are completely water proof. They are rechargeable, and have several colors and modes. Turning them on and off and changing modes is all simple from one button in the center. They don't stay suctioned very well inside my inflatable hot tub, but that's because there is texture on the plastic surface of the hot tub. These lights are pretty bright in our 15/48 inch Bestway pool with just two! There are only two in there now but we plan to get more next summer. We had different lights which sat on the side with a magnet on the outside but they always fell off so we ended up trying these. They are small and float around and aren’t really in the way. I also like that they shut off on their own after a few hours so I don’t need to fish them out of the pool. It’s pretty at night. Will use them in the hot tub over the winter for sure and get more after next summer. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I purchased a pack of two and after charging they lasted two hours. I contacted the vendor and they sent me another two pack, no charge. Same thing, after charging they only lasted two hours. We will keep them because we are not usually in the pool more than a couple of hours after dark. They are bright and have nice colors. Are you the world's strongest man? Then come on over to my house and see if you can open one of these thin pucks. One of them I cannot open to put batteries in and the other I cannot close fully to test if they work underwater. The problem? They are very thin and provide no grip to twist off. So I will be returning these, and when they send these back out to someone, they will get a surprise of free batteries. You're welcome. I am sure these would have been pretty cool, but since I can't open them, they are pure garbage. Spend the extra $2 for a rechargeable set of lights. ... show more
