Even though I selected this skin for a new MAC Book Pro hubby bought me for mother's day, I had two apprehensions about this product. 1) I am weird about texture, and this looked weirdly textured. 2) I like to hear the clicks of my fingers hitting the keyboard (I know--but I'm old school, and additionally, hearing the clicks lulls me into the false security that I'm actually getting things accomplished). About the first concern, the texture is a little different, a sueded gel-like feel is the best description I can give. Regarding the second concern, I hear less clicking and have decided that it's not so bad. Logistically speaking, the skin is easy to apply. It literally lays right over the the keys, almost perfectly. I say almost perfectly, because there is the tiniest pucker right at the bottom of the keyboard, but it's fine. I'm not complaining. The skin removes just as easily as it applies, that is, you just lift up a corner and pull. That's it. I lift the keyboard skin often, as I am always getting crumbs and random debris in it, but this stuff has yet to penetrate to the actual keyboard. Lastly, about color. Yes, it says green, but I would have to say that the skin is more of an aqua to dark teal gradation. The bottom row ends in a teal-ish, forest green type color--if anyone orders this color expecting a true green, I don't want them to be surprised. I give the product five stars, because it does exactly what it was made to do, and it does it easily. It's easy to put on and just as easy to take off (if not easier). It keeps my keyboard clean, and it doesn't slow down my typing. I am pleased. ... show more

First off, I will say that this keyboard cover looks great. The gradation and different color options are really something and they definitely add a nice touch to the plain black Macbook keyboard. I own a mid-2015 Macbook Pro 15" and the cover fit my keyboard almost perfectly. The process is dead simple, just lay the cover over the keys. The difference in typing and feel is not drastic. The biggest difference is that they keys are no longer as clicky (not that they really were to begin with). The cover is very soft and comfortable to type on though, which is a big plus. I am a very fast typer at 120 wpm and I was hardly affected in typing speed. Me being a perfectionist and slightly OCD, I was a tad disappointed that it wasn't a perfect fit. The keyboards on Macbooks' are set in below the rest of the casing and the cover has some over hang on mine and the corners are not exact. However, each key is properly covered and there are no problems with typing. Even with the overhang, I think that this cover is a great option if you are looking to get some added protection from crumbs and spills, while adding a cool accessory that will have people asking you about it. Overall, great product just wish the cutout was a tad bit more exact (at least for my model Macbook). ... show more

this keyboard cover is really nice!! the blue ombre is super pretty and the darkest blue isn't as black as it seems in the picture. it's nice to have something protecting my keyboard. it also fits really well on the keyboard and is easy to type with. However, when i am typing essays for school i like to take it off so i can type a little faster. --- updated- i have had it for a year and a half now and i still love it. i am constantly pulling and messing with it absentmindedly so i am kind of amazed it has not stretched out or become misshapen. the color of the blues or the letters have not faded at all. at this point i am even more comfortable typing with it on than i am with it off. it is super easy to take off and put back on. my only drawback is that it tends to leave little smudges on my laptop screen (pictured), it isn't really worth cleaning it off since it will just come back the next time i close my laptop. this isn't a huge issue though because i don't even notice these smudges unless the screen is dark. HIGHLY recommend! it is so easy to clean, i am able to just take it off and wipe it with lysol or whatever is around and then rest assured that the germs are gone. fits like a glove too, i have also gotten a lot of compliments! people are always surprised when my keyboard is blue, even more surprised that it is a cover instead of just stickers/decals. ... show more

This is the third time I've ordered one of these keyboard skins but on this go I decided to get the big 10-pack. First of all, I really like the color selection. I was initially going to go for one color but now that I've seen the others I'll know next time, which hopefully won't be for a while since I bought the TEN PACK! hahah. Why did I get so many? Well, fingernails. I do often keep them on the sharp side and since I play MMORPGs on this laptop, certain keys end up getting quite a workout. For me in particular, the "W" key area ends up getting a little hole and it gets annoying. Anyway, I bought my previous one in March of 2016. So almost a year - which I think is really good considering how much use I put this thing through! Anyway, I think this product does a good job. It took a little getting used to as far as typing and the feel, but now I much prefer to have it on. It doesn't necessarily protect from large liquid spills but it does a decent job and keeping some small splashes out of the keys. But it DOES do a GREAT job at keeping out dust and dander! I often stay with friends for work and they have a handful of pets that love to get hair everywhere and I much prefer not to have cat hair and dander in my keyboard. Also, don't forget to clean it once in a while. Eventually your own oils and dirt will get on it and when you end up shutting your laptop, that will get on the screen. ... show more
