This rowing machine is awesome! I did not expect it to be so easy to use. For starters the assembly was quick and the directions were clear. Once it was put together and started to use it, we were surprised at how smooth it was to pull the bar back. It was quiet, comfortable, and simple to adjust to our levels. The display was easy to see, and they even have an app so that you can enjoy nature while you're getting in shape. It is so convenient to use, I'm actually on it more than I had anticipated. I’m very happy with this rowing machine, and it has quickly become the best piece of equipment in my home gym. I’ve used a stationary bike for a long time, but this rower provides a much better mix of upper‑body engagement and cardio intensity. Assembly was quick and easy as there are only 16 identical screws, so nothing is confusing, and the installation video is helpful if you need it. The magnetic resistance is smooth and quiet, and having 16 levels gives far better control than most budget rowers. The dual‑rail design feels solid and stable even during faster strokes. The monitor is basic but has all the essentials. I normally connect it to the app which gives me kind of guided exercises. Overall, it’s a sturdy, quiet, and well‑designed machine that delivers excellent value.

Setup is difficult if you just try to follow the book instructions, but easy if you follow the video (on 1/2 speed). The whole thing took me about 40 minutes. I did my first rowing session this morning. This machine is quiet and smooth. I'm not an experience rower, so I can't speak to how difficult the resistance should be, but as a 6 foot male, it was enough for a solid workout, and for less than $180, it's tough to beat the value.

These are my impressions after 1 month (17 days of rowing). Positive: Most important. Very good workout. I am 6 feet tall (34-in. inseam). The length of the machine is excellent for full rowing motion. The resistance is very good. Plus, with the effect on resistance from the rate of strokes (as during interval training), it is easy to work out from moderate to very high intensity. The machine is stable while rowing and seems solid and well-designed. It is very easy to lift into upright position when not in use, and it takes up little space when upright. Very good price. Very good value–although value really depends on whether I use it a lot–so the more I use it the better value it will be. Negative The seat is hard, but if I readjust my position during exercise I can row for 45-50 minutes without being too uncomfortable. Other comments (some of which are based on the reviews I read while deciding which rower to purchase). I found the assembly frustrating a couple of times, and I was definitely slower than many reviewers in getting it finished. The printed instructions are poor–with small print and really small diagrams, which made seeing the details very difficult. The video was better, but the machine in the video was different from mine. But it ended up being close enough. Of course, I only had to put it together one time, so the assembly aggravation was not a big deal.

Perfect.... My husband and I are thrilled with this purchase. Sturdy, easy set up, smooth gliding seat. We use it every night, 30 minutes each and it has actually strengthend my bone on bone knees. This is easy on the joints, and provides an complete body workout... We actually sleep better using this about an hour before bed.... I highly recommend, great quality, ease of use, heavy, sturdy, smooth.....

Rower was easily set up. I was impressed how quiet it was and how solid it felt. It takes up very little space when not in use and is easy to set up for daily use. I would have no hesitation in recommending this rowing machine or purchasing another. The only improvements i'd suggest is a more comfortable seat and have an adjustable resistance setting on the seat for a better leg workout.
