  • Impressed with the quality/value of this brand
Size: Magnetic-Pro
I love it! I am 5'4" and find the fit to be perfect. The pull is smooth and super quiet. Seat is comfortable, glides well, and is quiet. I can get up in the morning and put in my minutes and not bother anyone else in the house. The data is straight forward and helpful. It is easy to move around if you need to store it off to the side. Assembly was effortless if you just follow along with the video they supply. Took less than an hour to set up and start using. Currently I use level 4 resistance and will have enough additional resistance to build up to to reach my goal of strengthening my core. I am over 55 and not looking for an advanced machine. I am very impressed with the quality/cost value with Yosuda products. I just ordered their recumbent bike as well. ... show more

  • Much better than I was expecting
Size: Magnetic-Pro
Item arrived and was pretty easy to put together. Instructions were not the best, but also not to hard to understand. Took me about 15mins to fully assemble. The LCD isn’t the best as far as info on it, but the app is pretty good. It even has different training videos and the app when connected to the machine will tell you how fast you are rowing and how fast you should be based on the time and intensity of the training. Really nice feature I wasn’t expecting from this. I’m 6’3 and I’m able to use the machine and go back fully without hitting the end. I have about 2 inches more I could go back, so I’d say 6’5 would be my guess as the limit. The rail is very smooth, better than I was expecting at this price point. Resistance levels are great. When I first got on I rowed fro about 10 seconds and thought this was way to easy at level 13. But once I started for 5+ minutes, I had to turn that down pretty fast. Overall very happy with the machine ... show more

  • Great affordable rower
Size: Magnetic-Pro
Howdy folks, the TL;DR of it is, I’m really glad I bought this rower. I got it on sale for $312. Gives a great cardio workout, doesn’t take up much space, is quiet, was decently easy to put together, not too hard to move around, and seems of nice enough quality. It’s not fancy like what you’ll use at a nice gym, and unfortunately it does NOT give you rowing strokes. I would have been upset about that, but I use an app where I’m watching someone row and I can keep pace with their strokes. I wish the bar was a few inches longer and slightly curved down. I’m of average fitness and have used it 5 times on resistance level 3. This gives me ability to grow to the highest resistance (8). I live in a very small space with another person and it tucks away into the corner in the upright position. Yes it’s still a bulky piece of workout equipment and is visible but I don’t care because it’s important to me to keep fit. One thing to note is that where the bar you sit on joins with the main body, it flexes down when I’m at the beginning of the stroke (so when my knees are fully bent). It seems okay and like it won’t break, but I’m going to keep my eye on it. In my opinion, as someone who is financially prudent, doesn’t go to a gym but relies on free activities or apps to stay fit, and who wanted a rower for years, this was worth my dollars. Rowing is fun, you should try it! ... show more

  • So far, as advertised
Size: Magnetic-Pro
So far, it’s great. Went together easily, software connected quickly. The pull is smooth, the travel is smooth and quiet, and I think a 5-6 will be perfect for my beginning setting (I’m 74, 6’2”, 240lb, and somewhat out of shape). No idea as of yet how durable it’ll be, but I’ll update in a month.

  • Great Rowing Machine & Outstanding Customer Service
Size: Magnetic-Pro
I spent quite a while researching and comparing rowing machines before deciding on this one, and overall I’m very happy with my purchase. The rowing machine itself works well, feels sturdy, and has become part of my regular workout routine. I especially like that it can be stored upright, which saves a lot of space. When my original machine arrived, there was a small damaged area on the casing that was disappointing to see. However, what truly impressed me was the seller’s customer service. They responded quickly, communicated professionally, and went above and beyond by arranging a brand new replacement. Problems can happen during shipping, but responsible and caring after-sales support makes all the difference. I really appreciate the effort and professionalism shown throughout the process. Overall, I’m satisfied with both the product and the customer service, and I would feel comfortable recommending this seller to others. ... show more

  • Great for beginners, great bang for your buck
Size: Magnetic-Pro
I would highly recommend this for beginners who aren't yet fully invested and experienced in rowing. Please bear with me as I briefly rant about the modern fitness market, then back to the review: These days, many fitness equipment companies are trying to make their products serve a dual purpose: be an exercise machine, and be a high-end, luxury, status-symbol piece of furniture. You can get a top of the line rowing machine that is beautiful, made from brushed steel with sculpted wood inlays, has a subscription to personalized trainers and programs, and probably works phenominally...but also costs thousands of dollars. This product is not that. There are no bells and/or whistles. There are no custom presets, no apps/games, and it is not a perfect stand-in for the massive workhorse of a rowing machine you've seen at your gym. This product is, however, the ideal thing to get your foot in the door of the sport of rowing, and you won't outgrow it so quickly that it will have been a waste of money. It is good enough to help you learn the proper rowing form and technique, and offer a low but useful range of resistance levels as you progress in skill and strength. In rowing, as in many full-body exercises, the process is often more important than sheer effort. Great feats of strength with improper technique can be counterproductive or dangerous, but modest feats with perfect technique can be very beneficial. All in all, this thing is built surprisingly well, and does what it advertises. It is not flashy, but also not flimsy. It should serve a beginner quite well. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody already performing at a high level or looking to win a championship, and if you are, you should just fork over the typical $1-5k on some other product that packs a punch and has all the special features. Otherwise, this thing gets you going with the bare essentials for a much more accessible price. Finally: this thing is, in fact, very quiet. Comparable to rolling your office desk chair across a smooth hardwood floor, or maybe a bit quieter. Whoever said it grinds and screeches either assembled it horribly wrong, or just got a defective unit. ... show more

  • Great but display malfunctions and no response from company
Size: Magnetic-Pro
Loved this rower originally, however the screen doesn't display all the numbers anymore. Ones and tens will no longer display. I did reach out to the company based on the warranty and the response of 1 day they mentioned. However, it's been a week and they won't respond to the email. Everything has been good except for the display, and yes batteries were replaced on the display as needed. ... show more

  • Who thought this was a good idea? Oh yeah, the wife.
Size: Magnetic-Pro
Buy me a rower she said, so I did. Didn't take much to put together. Strongly suggest bringing a socket set to the party instead of the tools it comes with. (STRONGLY suggest) Anyway, it was easy to assemble and I was drinking when I did it (do not suggest at all, but hey, I make questionable decisions now and again). The electronics are simple to use for understanding your workout, it's not super loud, the seat rolls smoothly, and the knob to adjust your resistance varies from very light to not-useful-due-to-inability-to-reasonably-maintain-motion. Seriously, it's a rowing machine. As strong as I am if I can't keep it rowing, what's the point? It breaks its own momentum. At this price point though, fantastic tool and a pretty killer home workout that doesn't take up much space. The $1500 ones I use at the gym are better but they're also $1500. ... show more
