  • High quality, great value
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
This was one of the best purchases I’ve made. It was fairly straightforward to assemble, although one of the screw holes didn’t align properly. Even with that, this thing is super sturdy, and it is COMPLETELY SILENT with use once everything was tightened properly. I’ve put 100 miles on it in 2 months and it works as well as it did when I put it together. It has 16 resistance options and I feel like I get a great workout. It does have different “modes” but I haven’t investigated any of them as I get what I need from manually adjusting the resistance knob. The ONLY things I would change at all are 1) I felt initially that the range of motion was small-ish (like the stride could’ve been longer) but it’s advertised as being compact and that’s probably the reason, and 2) that there’s no place to put a water bottle. But I’m not annoyed by either of these things enough to knock off a star. Everybody buy this! ... show more

  • Quick Delivery! However, Not delivered as expected... Product is awesome so far...
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
Delivery was not as expected but the elliptical is great! Amazon shipped very quickly. But the delivery person dropped it off in the driveway and I had to drag it to and onto my porch out of the weather. However, the elliptical works very quietly and performs very well. I do love it. Niceday gets 5 Stars. Product was packed Very securely! Super quiet and Very well made. No issues putting it together. It did take me approximately 2 hours. However, I did not have help and the seller did state to have second person help. If I had to do it over I would choose to pay the extra and have it delivered inside and put together for me. After I use the product for a couple of weeks I will further update this review. Amazon gets 5 stars for the quick delivery! Delivered a day early! Thank you for the rapid delivery! However, 1star for the Prime delivery person. My issue is the package should have been left on my porch and instead it was left in my driveway! Me a Woman and retiree (ok, older woman) had to drag it up to and onto my porch so that weather or animals wouldn't damage it! I am beyond upset! Delivery was not at all what was expected! ... show more

  • So close to great
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
I've been through roughly four of these elliptical machines in the budget range. Many of them had the same issues. Difficult and lengthy to assemble with hard to follow instructions, wobbly, squeaky and needing lubrication which can be a mess, short strides which made my knees hit the equipment, and other things. So when I saw the review for the Niceday, I thought I'd give it one more shot. First impressions: Without question, the best packaged machine of them all. Opening the box, the machine and accessories were all neatly organized with all the inside packaging in tact with a combination of mostly hard compact cardboard and minimal Styrofoam which mean most of it can also be recycled. As advertised, all the really tricky stuff comes preassembled especially the vertical pole where the magnetic resistance cord is connected. Hooking that up on cheaper models seems to take forever. Assembly time by myself clocked in around an hour which is 2-3 hours less than the other machines. Probably the trickiest bit was putting on the front and rear support. The unit weighs about 100 pounds, so lifting the ends to screw on the supports took some effort but it can be done. Aside from that, the easiest to put together by far. Performance: I'm 5'8, 167 lbs, with size 9 shoes and I'm in good athletic condition. This thing is solid which it should be since it's 30-40 pounds heavier than the other models. It's about 5" longer than the really cheap models which means the strides can be longer which is noticeable with less stress on the knees. The other ones are more compact so the feeling is closer to a stepper. At no time did I ever feel like my knees would hit the machine or my feet would fall off. It's also totally silent. There's no squeaking or wobble at all which is fantastic. The 16 resistance settings on the dial provides a substantial variety of difficult from pretty easy to solidly challenging. The onboard computer display has large digits which are very easy to read. And despite being 100 pounds, the front wheels on the base are situated that it's not difficult to move around. There's a bit of an effort to tilt to get it on the wheels, but after that, it's fairly maneuverable. It's not quite perfect. A few qualms: It does have a place to hold a media device. The problem is anything larger than a phone will cover the display readings so you can't see time, pulse, speed, etc. I also wish it was higher so my head doesn't need to look down do see everything. Not ergonomical for the neck. Speaking of, the pulse meter is a bit wonky to get an accurate reading. It's hard to tell if it needs to be gripped firm or gently, what part of the hand should be on it, and so forth. It's going to take more experimentation on my part. If I figure it out, I'll update here. There's no water bottle holder either, but that's probably the least important thing. Overall, this is the closest home elliptical machine I've seen yet that is comparable to commercial, high use units in gyms. It's a little bigger and a little more expensive, but it seems you get what you pay for. The quality seems very good and it feels like it's made to last. Recommended. UPDATE 7/31: Still is a solid machine. I think the pulse monitor improves accuracy once your hand are warmed up further into the workout. The only other pet peeve is the clock on the monitor is about 7 seconds slower per every 30 minutes active. So If your workout is an hour, the clock chimes in 15 seconds earlier than the actual time. I don't understand why in today's age this is a problem and Amazon said they'd only consider exchanging the entire unit as opposed just the device that's lightweight and probably costs $1 to make , but it's not a deal breaker. UPDATE II March 29, 2025: After 14 months of fairly regular use, the squeaking started and got noticeably louder and more concerning. I was tempted to call this another cheap machine but decided to give customer service one try before tossing it. They responded in 12 hours and suggested lifting up the cover for the vertical tower at the base and tightening the screws. After inspection, some were indeed loose. I still had the original tools (there's only two of them) and tightened them. They also recommended oiling the joints in the arms swings but I don't see how to do that. The good news is that the fix seems to have worked well and works as well as when I first got it. If I could give an extra 1/2 star for the customer service, I'd do it. Well done, Niceaday. ... show more

  • Very Good - could use a couple tweaks Very Good - could use a couple tweaks
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
Assembly: I am no stranger to wrenches and screwdrivers. I did the job solo (mostly). It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to put this together. That includes unpacking, carrying the parts through the house (I had help with the heavy bit), reading through the instructions, watching the three min. assembly video, and cleanup. Tools: All the tools needed to put this together are included, but you might want to use better tools. Be advised you will need metric tools. The nuts are 13mm and 17mm. I have a 13mm socket, but no 17mm socket or wrench. Which is unfortunate as the 17mm nuts are used on the feet. I knew from other reviews I wanted to torque those nuts down to hold the feet securely in place as the machine was used. Doing that with the little wrench provided was uncomfortable. Size: Very compact for what it is. It tucks nicely out of the way into the corner of the bedroom. Noise: Whisper quiet. FWIW I have it on carpet. I've only been using it for two days, but so far no creaks or squeaks, truly impressive. User Interface: Pretty basic, which is fine. I'm not looking for someone screaming in my face, or mountain road cross training programs. I just need something I can conveniently work up a sweat on. This does the job. Get on it, start peddling, turn the big knob to add or reduce resistance, BOOM. But they get too cute with it trying to add functions that don't really work. CAL for instance, supposedly counts the calories you burn, but in fact only counts how many cycles you peddle. If it was counting calories it would count faster when you dialed up the resistance. Likewise, what does "speed" or "distance" mean on this machine? Both of which seem to be measured in "mph". The pulse counter seems to work, but takes several seconds to settle on a value. I have an issue with the phone/tablet holder. If you put your tablet on it, it blocks the display. It's also located a bit far from your eyes and too close to your body. You have to tilt your head down to see it. It would have been much better to have a little extension above the display to hold it there. I may try to make something like that. Stride: The first time I used this machine I was worried I made a bad choice. The stride is elliptical and not a perfect circle, but it's more circular than I'd like. Peddling on it has some up and down motion (as can be seen in the video with the pretty young and fit actors using it). This made it more work than I wanted even with the resistance dialed down. However, on my second try I found a rhythm and a stride that I could maintain which minimized the up and down motion. Also, peddling backwards significantly reduced the up and down, at least for me. However I would have really liked the pedals to have been mounted like 6 inches farther from the flywheel. Miscellaneous: On top of the flywheel, the plastic is discolored. It is not cracked or dented. It just looks like it was stressed. It appears that the plastic shell is mounted to a piece of metal and perhaps the full weight was supported at that point some time during shipping. Regardless, the machine operates smoothly and I don't believe it was damaged in any way. It doesn't concern me in the least. ETA After a year of use, I am still happy with it. The only thing is the LCD display has faded to where I can't read it without shining a light on it. No biggie for me, the only thing I was using it for was the timer and I can use my phone (which I always have for something to listen to while pedaling anyway). As stated above most of the display functions are bogus anyway, but if tracking your heart rate is important to you, it's something to think about. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Color: 19IN Stride Brown
This review pertains to the 'Niceday' Elliptical Exercise Machine with 19" stride, Model CT11-19 for $800. The box arrived in good condition with several dings in it. The interior packaging of the box cushioned each individual part very well so there was not even a scratch of damage. It took over an hour to unpack it and discard all the packaging and about 2 hours to assembly it. The assembly was very easy, but I took it slowly to make sure it was done right. Every part was well labeled in the manual. They even included two wrenches, so all I needed to add was my Phillips head screw driver. I was impressed by the quality of the hardware and the parts. This is well made. Once assembled it was very stable, and the operation was whisper quiet and smooth. It does come with a simple control panel to monitor time, heart rate, etc. I love that it is simple. Some machines you need a degree in computer science to figure out. Not this one – very easy to use. Plus, it needs no wires and no electricity. The control panel runs on 2-each AA batteries. A simple knob adjusts 16 levels of tension – the control panel is not needed for that. To top it off, it weighs 125 pounds, so it is easy to move via the front two wheels. I specifically wanted the 19” stride. I am 5’ 8” 170 pounds. Smaller strides (15” to 18”) are not as effective and are awkward to use unless your body is smaller than mine. This unit supports a person up to 400 pounds and 6’6” tall. If you need an adjustable incline, this does not adjust. You will need to spend about $500 more to get that feature made by some other manufacturer. I am more price conscious and can easily do without the incline. The base is 42” long x 20” wide. The legs swing an additional 12” to the front and 6” to the rear. The handle height is 63”. To top it off this company offers Lifetime service for assistance & parts. Their phone, email, and physical address is on their website, https://nicedaymoves.com at the bottom of the page. In conclusion, I love this unit and would buy this again in a heartbeat. It is very gratifying when a company does everything right. ... show more

  • Easy Assembly | Durable
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
After reading several reviews, I took the plunge and purchased this machine. One reviewer said he’s bought several of these and found this to be the best for its price point. It only weighs about ninety pounds, so it’s easy to move. Assembly: I read several people say assembly took about two hours. Therefore, I started my stopwatch to time how long it took. For me, someone who does not build or assemble things often, I was pleasantly surprised. It took 1:10:21 to assemble (one hour and ten minutes). The main body is already assembled. The only assembly is the handles, electronic monitoring hookup, foot holds, and stabilizers on the bottom. It’s really pretty straight forward. Surprises: Resistance is not electronically controlled. I know this is a cheaper product, but for some reason, in my head, I pictured an electronic resistance regulator, a button you push like in the gym. Granted, those products in the gym are thousands of dollars, so I’m not sure what I was thinking. So the resistance is controlled by a knob similar to the resistance in the old school, stationary bikes. Initial ten minute run is that the highest level will provide sufficient resistance to make a worthy workout. Does not plug in. My only experience with ellipticals was that they plugged in to the wall; this does not plug in to the wall. The electronic monitor is powered by two double A batteries. Again, I shouldn’t have been surprised by this as this is not a multi-thousand dollar product. Light weight. Even though a previous reviewer mentioned this is one of the heavier, cheaper options, I initially had this on a tiled surface. It would move all over hell’s half acre if I left it on the tiled surface. Easy remedy, just moved it onto carpet. I may return after a few months to expand the review of how the machine operates. ... show more

  • Outstanding if you don't have an intense workout and don't care about cheap electronics
Color: 18IN Stride Black
Pros: - Strides are smooth, long, and quiet. - Doesn't take up too much space. - Easy to assemble. The proper tools and instructions are provided. Not too many steps and not difficult to figure out. - Easy to move after you put the wheels on. - Everything works (at least at a very basic level) Cons: - Pulse is on separate handle and starts at around 70 and only goes up by 2 about every 2 seconds until it reaches the correct number - Resistance not connected to computer. Is separate piece and requires significant adjustment while exercising if you want to change resistance level. - Calorie burn is extremely low. Think around 1/10th of what it should be. Probably related to the resistance not being included in the equation. - Machine shakes heavily with an intense workout (not bad at all if you take it slow). - Shakiness and small area for electronic devices means your phone will fall off very easily. ... show more

  • Very smooth and quiet
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
I really enjoy my elliptical. It's small enough to fit in my bedroom. It's quiet enough not to wake sleeping people in the other bedrooms. I like that it doesn't require an electric cord. It was not difficult to assemble by myself, a 70 year old female.
