  • Excellent machine!!!
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
I purchased this because Shape magazine rated it as the best budget elliptical machine. I was still a little skeptical though, since it was only $400. It was super easy to put together with only a few major pieces that needed to be attached. It was too heavy for me to lift but my adult son lifted it easily. It's very sturdy and well put together. I tried it for the first time last night and am so happy with it! I thought for sure it would be jerky or hard to use but it runs so smoothly and easily! It's also silent so I was able to watch t.v. while using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an elliptical machine but doesn't want to spend thousands. ... show more

  • Outstanding Quality & Function
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
I bought the Classic Elliptical CT11S. The quality and function of this machine are so much better than I expected, or even hoped for! I paid $20 extra to have the box delivered to the room of my choice. (Getting it inside and downstairs would've been the hardest part.) Taking my time and making sure I read the directions carefully, it took 90 minutes to assemble the elliptical at a leisurely pace. There's nothing confusing or difficult about the assembly, and the necessary tools were included. The peddling is smooth as silk and quiet as a whisper. My breathing is much louder than the machine. Lol! The tension knob to increase or decrease difficulty works well. The machine is easy to move and roll out of the way if needed. Some reviews have compared it to the commercial-grade ellipticals at the gym. They're not the same thing and if you want to spend $7500+, go for it. But good luck getting that thing out of your house when you don't want it anymore and good luck finding someone to repair it if it breaks down. Plus, this elliptical takes up a much smaller footprint than the big ones at the gym. I get a great workout with this and the quality is unbelievable at this price point. I'm so glad I bought it and I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good value
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
For the money, this is a good elliptical. It was easy to assemble, it's lightweight and easy to move around, and it's quiet. You cannot adjust the stride on the one I bought, so the title of this item is misleading as it mentions a stride range. If you want that feature, make sure you're purchasing the right one (not the Classic CT11S). My only complaint so far is that, if you let go of the poles, you are leaning back a bit and it's very uncomfortable. I like to be able to walk/run on it hands-free and I can't really do that. I'm also a bit concerned about the dial for resistance, as it seems like it might wear out, but we'll see how it goes! I needed a cheap elliptical to get myself back in the swing of things, so I think this is perfect for that. I will upgrade to a nicer one if I maintain my routine. :) ... show more

  • Easy assembly, solid machine, worth it for the price! Easy assembly, solid machine, worth it for the price!
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
Ordered this for my bedroom/ office space and it’s the perfect size. Assembly took me an hour and instructions were very clear. No wobbling AT ALL. I still need to test it out so I’ll update then, but this is a SOLID elliptical. Never had one before and hate going to the gym. Cant wait to try it out and get moving! Definitely worth the price so far. Updates to come… UPDATE: Managed half a mile and even on plush carpet it is sturdy (some wiggle room due to soft surface, but I might find wood or something to place under the bases) VERY smooth and VERY quiet so I can watch my show in peace while I sweat it out! 10/10 recommend!! ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations! Exceeded my expectations!
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
I am so happy with this purchase! I had knee surgery (partial meniscectomy) a few weeks ago, and my doc recommended the elliptical for rehab, but I knew going to the gym, especially in winter would be hard for me, so I bought this one. I struggled with whether to buy the classic design with the 15.5 inch stride, or to go with the higher priced version with the longer stride. I was on a budget so I decided to go with the classic C11S. Assembly wasn't too bad. I did it by myself (I'm old and fat), but I can see where a second person would make the job much quicker and easier. I used the provided tools and it took right at an hour. I did not attached the long handlebars since I never use them, and I have space constraints. I love the small design and footprint. My house is small, but it fits beside my full-sized treadmill without issue. I slide it out from the wall when I use it so the pedals have room to swing, but it is fairly lightweight and the wheels make it easy to move. I am accustomed to ellipticals in the gym, so I didn't have high hopes for this one because it is so small - but my mind has changed on that. I was fairly fit before my knee took me down for six months, but with weight gain and loss of fitness I hoped this would still challenge me, and it does! For my first workout I did 40 minutes on the lowest resistance, and was able to get my heart rate into zone 4, which is where I like to be for cardio fitness. So I know as I lose the weight and get more fit I will still have room to grow with this elliptical since I started at the lowest resistance level. The stride feels shorter than a gym machine (duh) but it is not uncomfortable at all. I did find that if you try to pedal very slowly it does feel a bit jerky on the downstroke, but that's going verryy slowly. So if you're just pedaling during a workout, it is very smooth - and absolutely silent. You can pedal in reverse, but that didn't feel as smooth to me. I am 5'7" and about 220 pounds, and this elliptical felt very stable. No shaking or wobbling. I thought I might get a pad to go under it to protect my floor, but it doesn't slide around during use, even on hardwood. There is no incline, but I really don't miss it, at least not yet. I couldn't be happier. This elliptical is a godsend for rehabbing my knee in the comfort of my home. ... show more

  • Glad we bought it
Color: 20IN Stride Brown
Before buying this I contacted customer service about a return if necessary. They responded quickly and gave clear direction in the event we needed to return the machine. We do not need to return this machine! It is sturdy and quiet. The 20” stride is ecxcellent for a tall person and we are impressed by the tension options…we workout quite a bit and even “level 1” is a good workout. The 16 tension options will keep us busy for a long long time. Great home machine. ... show more

  • I like it so far
Color: 15.5IN Stride Brown
Easy enough to set up. Came in big box and very heavy. Thankfully they placed it directly in front of the door so I didn’t have to somehow roll drag it up a few steps. Grateful for that. If you have two strong people to lift it, it would be no problem. I just pushed it into the living room and opened it on its side and with a bit of effort was able to pull the contents out. After unwrapping and setting things out in order, it was easy to put together, just time consuming. Took about two hours doing it myself but I took my time. I didn’t like that a few of the screws require you to hold the other end tightly still with strong pliers, which are not included, in order to be able to hold one end still and screw in the other tight enough. If you don’t do this, it will be super loose and wobbly in the handles. Also the cord that plugs into the computer screen you need to be careful it is not dropped into the frame or you will have to take it apart to fish it back out. Not the best design there. I tried it out for 30 minutes once everything was tightened well and it is a good machine as far as cheap at home ellipticals go. I think you might need to tighten things over time as you use it though. I like it so far. It feels solid enough and doesn’t wobble. It came with a timy container of oil too you could use a toothbrush to apply to the joints if it makes squeaking sounds so that was considerate of them. Despite no power cord, the computer does take two AA batteries and it comes with two to start. Otherwise your movement is what turns it on. Only wish there was a cup holder. ... show more

  • So close to great
Color: 16IN Stride Orange
I've been through roughly four of these elliptical machines in the budget range. Many of them had the same issues. Difficult and lengthy to assemble with hard to follow instructions, wobbly, squeaky and needing lubrication which can be a mess, short strides which made my knees hit the equipment, and other things. So when I saw the review for the Niceday, I thought I'd give it one more shot. First impressions: Without question, the best packaged machine of them all. Opening the box, the machine and accessories were all neatly organized with all the inside packaging in tact with a combination of mostly hard compact cardboard and minimal Styrofoam which mean most of it can also be recycled. As advertised, all the really tricky stuff comes preassembled especially the vertical pole where the magnetic resistance cord is connected. Hooking that up on cheaper models seems to take forever. Assembly time by myself clocked in around an hour which is 2-3 hours less than the other machines. Probably the trickiest bit was putting on the front and rear support. The unit weighs about 100 pounds, so lifting the ends to screw on the supports took some effort but it can be done. Aside from that, the easiest to put together by far. Performance: I'm 5'8, 167 lbs, with size 9 shoes and I'm in good athletic condition. This thing is solid which it should be since it's 30-40 pounds heavier than the other models. It's about 5" longer than the really cheap models which means the strides can be longer which is noticeable with less stress on the knees. The other ones are more compact so the feeling is closer to a stepper. At no time did I ever feel like my knees would hit the machine or my feet would fall off. It's also totally silent. There's no squeaking or wobble at all which is fantastic. The 16 resistance settings on the dial provides a substantial variety of difficult from pretty easy to solidly challenging. The onboard computer display has large digits which are very easy to read. And despite being 100 pounds, the front wheels on the base are situated that it's not difficult to move around. There's a bit of an effort to tilt to get it on the wheels, but after that, it's fairly maneuverable. It's not quite perfect. A few qualms: It does have a place to hold a media device. The problem is anything larger than a phone will cover the display readings so you can't see time, pulse, speed, etc. I also wish it was higher so my head doesn't need to look down do see everything. Not ergonomical for the neck. Speaking of, the pulse meter is a bit wonky to get an accurate reading. It's hard to tell if it needs to be gripped firm or gently, what part of the hand should be on it, and so forth. It's going to take more experimentation on my part. If I figure it out, I'll update here. There's no water bottle holder either, but that's probably the least important thing. Overall, this is the closest home elliptical machine I've seen yet that is comparable to commercial, high use units in gyms. It's a little bigger and a little more expensive, but it seems you get what you pay for. The quality seems very good and it feels like it's made to last. Recommended. UPDATE 7/31: Still is a solid machine. I think the pulse monitor improves accuracy once your hand are warmed up further into the workout. The only other pet peeve is the clock on the monitor is about 7 seconds slower per every 30 minutes active. So If your workout is an hour, the clock chimes in 15 seconds earlier than the actual time. I don't understand why in today's age this is a problem and Amazon said they'd only consider exchanging the entire unit as opposed just the device that's lightweight and probably costs $1 to make , but it's not a deal breaker. UPDATE II March 29, 2025: After 14 months of fairly regular use, the squeaking started and got noticeably louder and more concerning. I was tempted to call this another cheap machine but decided to give customer service one try before tossing it. They responded in 12 hours and suggested lifting up the cover for the vertical tower at the base and tightening the screws. After inspection, some were indeed loose. I still had the original tools (there's only two of them) and tightened them. They also recommended oiling the joints in the arms swings but I don't see how to do that. The good news is that the fix seems to have worked well and works as well as when I first got it. If I could give an extra 1/2 star for the customer service, I'd do it. Well done, Niceaday. ... show more
