The BRAND NEW FOR 2024 ProForm Carbon TLX is an outstanding very attractive quality-built treadmill at a great price! After doing a lot of research and comparing treadmills in the $1,000 - $1,500 price range from all the major manufacturers I purchased this one on sale for just $850 and I'm very happy with it. The original manufacturer's retail price in early 2024 was $1,000 but the price on Amazon tends to fluctuate slightly up and down all the time for no apparent reason. Despite this inconsistent pricing the ProForm Carbon TLX is a great purchase and an outstanding value. The ProForm Carbon TLX comes very well-packed and partially assembled in a large heavy-duty reinforced cardboard box that weighs 250+ lbs so I'm glad I paid the extra $20 for room-of-choice delivery. This treadmill has all the major features and functions of the more expensive treadmills without the big pricy high-definition touchscreen or other unnecessary computerized fitness monitoring "gimmicks" which are seldom, if ever, used. The ProForm Carbon TLX is designed and built to support users up to 300 lbs in weight. It has a powerful heavy-duty 3-hp electric motor, fully adjustable speeds from 1-12 mph, up to 12-degrees in adjustable incline, and a full-size 60-inch-long cushioned running deck... something you won't find on most treadmills in this price range. The treadmill also has a nice built-in 3-speed electric fan to keep you cool and two built-in speakers that can be connected to your smartphone or tablet so you can listen to music or watch a movie. All of these features are controlled with "Quick-Access" touch-buttons conveniently located on the nicely designed center console. The console also has a very convenient built-in shelf that holds your smartphone or tablet for easy viewing. The build quality of the ProForm Carbon TLX is excellent and the precision machined parts made the treadmill's assembly very easy to do although you will need two people for the job. My wife supplied the extra pair of hands needed and helped me by holding some of the pieces in place while I bolted everything together. It took us about an hour total and I encountered no problems with poorly fitting or missing parts. There is nothing more frustrating than poorly fitting, or worse yet, missing parts! I should also mention that a very nice set of tools needed for assembly are included so you don't need to supply any of your own tools... an unexpected pleasant surprise! My wife and I have both been using this treadmill to run and walk a combined total of 5 to 7 miles every day for the past 6 months and we absolutely love it! My wife really enjoys using the fan to keep her cool and using the built-in speakers to listen to her music during her workouts. I like how quiet and smooth the motor and belt run for both running and walking and having instant access to all of my exercise information on the full-color display screen. I also like how easily the running deck folds up and out of the way so the treadmill doesn't take up a lot of room when you're not using it. One last thing definitely worth mentioning is that you don't have to have Internet access or register or sign up for the 30-day free trial of the online iFIT exercise program before you can turn on and operate the treadmill as several uninformed people in these reviews claim. My wife and I chose not to use iFIT because we didn't want to pay the monthly subscription fee for it. We use the ProForm Carbon TLX and all of its features in the manufacturer's standard manual mode. All you have to do to use the treadmill this way is simply press and hold down the blue iFIT button on the console for about 10-15 seconds and the iFIT exercise program is bypassed and the treadmill will operate perfectly... no iFIT registration or Internet needed. You only have to do this one time... not every time you turn on the treadmill. In summary, the ProForm Carbon TLX is an outstanding very attractive quality-built treadmill with all the features you need at a very reasonable price. None of the other treadmills in its price range can match the value, performance and quality of the ProForm Carbon TLX. I highly recommend it and would definitely purchase it again! ... show more

I waited almost a year to review to be sure we truly lived the treadmill and… This has been a great addition to our workout room. It is great for daily walks and jogs. I love being able to do incline walks (it goes to 10 incline). It folds nicely and helps keep our floor space open for other activities. It feels durable. I really like the integrated Bluetooth for audiobooks and music. It gets really loud so it can be used even when away from the treadmill. My husband likes to run at much higher speeds and has not had any issues. He is 6’ and it seems to just capture his stride length. Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

My last proform lasted 15 years. This one is nice and quiet. It was a little tricky to put together. Definitely need 2 people. I wish it had heart rate sensor. I like to use the app with it when I walk. Great treadmill.

    • DO NOT BUY from this company!!!! Warning!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought this treadmill last April, 2024. The treadmill was extremely faster than any other I have used, I have an additional treadmill at my house and I travel so have used multiple hotel tread mills. Not only was it fast but the belt would stop turning at any given time. I would step of and it would turn again, step back on and it would stop. I called the company, and as expected, this takes a long time to get through to file the issues. They decided to send me a new computer board for me to install. It took about 2 weeks - not a big deal and I am pretty handy so I installed the new board. The speed was better but the belt would stop turning during my workouts so I was having the same problem. I called for a second time to fill the complaint, for them to then decide to send another computer board, motor, and belt. Keep in mind this takes weeks/almost months to receive the parts and then coordinate with their tech to install the equipment. This is probably August 2024 timeframe that they installed the equipment. We used the treadmill for a month or two for IT TO ONLY DO THE SAME THING as the previous two complaints. This is now Fall 2024 and I have to call again. They decided to now send I worrying harness to be replaced that I once again had to wait for the part and then weeks/almost a month and a half to schedule this harness to be installed. I knew this would not fix the problem but you have to play their game. They replaced the harness, the treadmill sat a little due to travel, but when I started using it DOES THE SAME EXACT THING since I bought it - the belt stops turning during the workout. I called once again to file a complaint. I sent videos and pictures of the treadmill not working. I did not hear back from the company for 6 weeks after I filled the complaint. So again this treadmill is sitting waiting to hear from them. I called back to find out that they DID NOTHING WITH my last complaint. I had to go through this complaint folding once again, sent the video and pictures, once again, to wait to hear from them. So at this point I assume they would replace the unit as we can all agree this unit has not worked since I bought it and has sat months and months waiting for parts and maintenance. but NO, they emailed me that “due to dust on the machine they recommend I clean the machine and line the belt” OMG this is unbelievable!!! The treadmill had been sitting broke for months so I’m sorry I didn’t wax it broken before the complaint. The treadmill sitting next to it, in the same environment, has seemed to work just fine for 10 years. TIME for a LAWYER all over a $700 treadmill. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
