  • A Total Lifesaver for Postpartum Pain Relief
These pads honestly saved my life postpartum. I was healing from a second degree tear and was incredibly uncomfortable. Sitting, standing, even just trying to relax felt impossible. These cooling pads were the only thing that actually gave me real relief. They get cold fast and stay cold for several hours. I love that they’re big enough to wear comfortably with all of the things I added on top of it like witch hazel foam. I could finally sit without wincing, which felt like a miracle at that point. I was even able to comfortably wear jeans with them. What I love most is how easy they are to use. No freezing and no prepping you just crack them, shake them, and they’re ready. When you’re postpartum and barely surviving on sleep, simple things like easy comfort matter. If you’re recovering from a v birth, especially with tearing, these are a must have. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through those first 4 weeks without them. ... show more

  • Good product, just not for me
So I’m giving them 5 stars because they are a really good product and easy to use. It’s a lot better than having to make your own frozen ones or even make them out of diapers. But personally I didn’t really need them, I was actually more uncomfortable with the cold feeling. But I like how you’re able to load up all the other products they offer ontop of it. My only complaint is how bulky they are. But I ended up only using a couple and agave away the rest to other postpartum moms I have in my life and they loved them. So overall a good product, just isn’t for everyone. ... show more

  • Must-Have for Postpartum
Don’t skip these on your registry! They were literally the only thing that gave me real relief while my stitches were healing after birth. They’re nice and big, stay cold for about 30 minutes to an hour, and I ended up buying more boxes because I relied on them so much. Absolute must-have for postpartum. ... show more

  • They’re a must have!
Absolute lifesaver for postpartum care, I paired this with the witch hazel foam and it really helped with the pain postpartum. One downside though is that it doesn’t stay cold THAT long but long enough to feel relief when resting.

  • Great Relief, Slightly Pricey
The cold therapy feels amazing and really reduces swelling and relieves the pain at peri stitches. They’re super easy to activate. I just wish they lasted a little longer and were a bit more affordable. Still, a must-have for postpartum moms.

  • Very soothing!!
These ice maxi pads saved my postpartum life after my first pregnancy! I’m due in about 3 more weeks, and I’ve ordered a couple of boxes of these so I can be prepared for this next postpartum journey. They’re not too cold, but just cool enough to help comfort your poor girl down there with the stitches & swelling. They pair perfectly with the frida mom wipes, and the foam. ... show more

  • ESSENTIAL for healing, seriously
I am so so so glad I bought these before I gave birth and now I’ve already finished them and got more. They are so essential to healing especially the cooling sensation and how much fluid it catches more than pads without itching me bad down there. I had a third degree tear that tore the part that covers my rectum. There was obsiously discomfort but not much pain at all unless I sit or lay down a certain way where the pad gets jammed between the sutures but that’s not the product’s fault. As long as you readjust it’s all good. And it seriously helps with not swelling. Highly highly recommend!! For reference it’s only been almost a week since the delivery but I’ve healed up so much. I use this alongside Tucks and perineal foam, as well as the peri bottle. ... show more

  • Great for PostPartum Underwear Cocktail
These pads are just like the ice packs they give you in the hospital, but BETTER! Why? It’s a dual ice pack and pad + it has adhesive to stay in place. I have been using one of these pads twice a day to help with pain relief postpartum and this is the cocktail: Frida Mom Boy Short Underwear Frida Mom Ice Pack Pad (This product.) 4 PCS of Tucks Witch Hazel Pads Spray Americaine Benzocaine over the Tucks Pads (or the spray of your choice) It is a nice pain relief! I use the bathroom every 2-3 hours and change it then with no issue. Tips: * Make sure to break the ice pack while it is in the bag and move around the ice by rotating the pad before opening the package (the instructions are on each separate pad). *Give your body a break from the ice and only use once or twice a day. Use a regular pad with the same cocktail in between. Note: Save some $ and make sure you like using a cold pack before stocking up. Everyone is different! One friend said she loved the ice packs when she was in the hospital but stopped liking them when she got home, another didn’t care for them at all, and for me, it’s a MUST HAVE! Just like every pregnancy is different, every recovery different! ... show more
