I didn’t have ANY tears after pushing my 7 pound baby out, but my entire bottom (perineal area) was STILL sore for atleast 3-4 weeks postpartum. Please buy these, I purchased them twice in the same postpartum time frame. It gives your bottom area a cold shock, and it numbs the area with chilling effect from front to back (size: they are long). The cool effect doesn’t last all day, and you don’t want to keep same one on for long period of time, but they work wonders. So if you believe you will deliver through V area, buy these. These postpartum pads are incredibly helpful and thoughtfully designed for recovery after childbirth. The 2-in-1 feature is what makes them stand out. Having both an absorbent pad and an instant cold therapy pack in one is extremely convenient and provides immediate relief when it’s needed most. These are a game changer for postpartum! They are so soft and comfortable and stayed cold way longer than others. I also love that they have a sticky strip to keep them in place. I will be buying more when I have snorter baby and will be getting these for all moms-to-be!

Pretty BULKY and long but works so well! I got a surgery on my privates and bought these for cooling and to catch bleeding. You HAVE to bend until you hear a pop and shake it until it gets cold because it can get super cold. It last around 20-30 mins which is perfect timing per doctors ice instructions. Will be buying more if I need to throughout my recovery! Minus a star for being bulky. ... show more

These pads are just like the ice packs they give you in the hospital, but BETTER! Why? It’s a dual ice pack and pad + it has adhesive to stay in place. I have been using one of these pads twice a day to help with pain relief postpartum and this is the cocktail: Frida Mom Boy Short Underwear Frida Mom Ice Pack Pad (This product.) 4 PCS of Tucks Witch Hazel Pads Spray Americaine Benzocaine over the Tucks Pads (or the spray of your choice) It is a nice pain relief! I use the bathroom every 2-3 hours and change it then with no issue. Tips: * Make sure to break the ice pack while it is in the bag and move around the ice by rotating the pad before opening the package (the instructions are on each separate pad). *Give your body a break from the ice and only use once or twice a day. Use a regular pad with the same cocktail in between. Note: Save some $ and make sure you like using a cold pack before stocking up. Everyone is different! One friend said she loved the ice packs when she was in the hospital but stopped liking them when she got home, another didn’t care for them at all, and for me, it’s a MUST HAVE! These pads honestly saved my life postpartum. I was healing from a second degree tear and was incredibly uncomfortable. Sitting, standing, even just trying to relax felt impossible. These cooling pads were the only thing that actually gave me real relief. They get cold fast and stay cold for several hours. I love that they’re big enough to wear comfortably with all of the things I added on top of it like witch hazel foam. I could finally sit without wincing, which felt like a miracle at that point. I was even able to comfortably wear jeans with them. What I love most is how easy they are to use. No freezing and no prepping you just crack them, shake them, and they’re ready. When you’re postpartum and barely surviving on sleep, simple things like easy comfort matter. If you’re recovering from a v birth, especially with tearing, these are a must have. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through those first 4 weeks without them. ... show more
