  • Easy to assemble.
Style: Classic
The instructions seemed complicated at first glance but was easy. I assembled it myself under an hour. Easy to use. Might have assembled the tension cable wrong because it’s that much resistance but it works for me. I’m 40 years old and 5’3”. The step length is fine for me but could see how taller individuals would find it to be too short. ... show more

  • It’s ok, stride length is too short for me
Style: Classic
It took me 4-5 hours to put this together by myself with breaks. I had to really read the instructions carefully. I didn’t know about the video until reading these reviews. I felt like it was pretty solidly constructed after I got it together. I think the stride is ultimately way too short for me and it feels awkward to use it. I am a bit under the weather today, so I have only been on it for a few strides at a time and that may be a factor in how long and difficult it was to put it together, but I think I will likely return it. I do like the price on it and if it had a longer stride I think it would work for me. I am a very heavyset 45 year-old female that is 5’5”. I am well over the 220# weight limit it states for the machine and I felt that it was solidly constructed enough that it would not be an issue, but overall the issue is the stride length and it feeling very awkward to use compared to the machines at the gym, which I was certainly not expecting gym quality for the price, but ultimately I don’t think it will work for me. ... show more

  • Great Size
Style: Classic
This machine is a great size, not obtrusive as my full size. BUT: this is a much shorter step stred, probably half again the distance of a standard machine. I's OK with me, I am not on quest, just want to firm up and this seems a lovely way to go about it without bothering anyone. It was tricky to put together. Things like which way the screw, ring or bolt or whatever is facing in or out made me crazy. But it was well marked in about an 8 font. If you go one dedicated step at a time and not forget to read every single thing it can be done in about 2 hours. It took me about 3 weeks and one neighbor with a friend. ... show more

  • Easy to use. Mostly easy to assemble.
Style: Classic
The Elliptical Machine was mostly easy to assemble except for the cable linkage. There was no way to connect the linkage in its current setup. I had to unscrew the bolt and linkages bracket to connect the linkage. This was not difficult, but was not covered in the documentation. I found a YouTube video that showed the nut loosened all the way, but the assembler never corrected the adjustment when he was done. So even the video was lacking. Also, the controller wire connecters should have labels on them. The elliptical is smooth and quiet. No problems with operations. ... show more

  • For the money, it's okay, especially for the average home user.
Style: Smart
Though the printed instructions were on par with Ikea, there are very helpful Youtube tutorials to demonstrate assembly. Overall, it took me about two hours, and would have been less time if the tension rod had been easier. I'm a very tiny person and don't pull a strong bow, so I did struggle quite a bit with pulling the tension rod in the neck of the machine. I also had to use pliers to open the place for the base of the tension rod to go (and then closed it back) because for the life of me I couldn't get it in there. But if you've ever assembled a multi-speed bike, it seems similar. The machine itself is okay. Not terrible, not top of the line great, but okay. It's sturdy and well-made, but you will need something under the front and back feet to keep it from skidding all over a hard surface. A yoga mat will do, but this is something that people should know first simply because trying the machine out with nothing underneath meant that the machine and I both traveled around my dining room as I gave it a 15 minute test run. The glide is perhaps not as smooth as higher end machines, and is the sort of nondescript machine that you'd find in the apartment complex gym. The big disappointment is the little computerized meter. I cannot get it to register with the heart rate monitor in the grips, and it doesn't record time, distance, or calories. It turns on and is supposed to do those things - that's why this machine is an upgrade that costs so much more. But it's an upgrade that I cannot use at all. I thought the monitor would be more like a tablet connected to the machine, but it's just a very thin, cheap plastic with the wires plugged in, which apparently is entirely decorative. It doesn't render the machine useless, just more difficult to track calories burned or distance run. Overall, it's not bad. It's a decent machine for what you pay for, and on sale it's a good bargain. ... show more

  • Good if you're short
Style: Classic
Because the stride is shorter than a tall person would have, this product would be best for those 5'3" or shorter. I'm 5'2" so it works for me but my 5'11" friend found it difficult to use.

  • It’s Worth The Money, I only have ONE con.
Style: Classic
The media could not be loaded. This machine is decent for the price. It isn’t PERFECT, but it’s decent. I’ve only had it for two days and have used it both days. I had the Amazon people assemble it. They were nice and professional. My ONLY complaint about this machine is the fact that every time I use it (which is generally 30-45 minutes at a time. 3 of the screws in one area get loose (mid workout) which causes it to move a little, and eventually make a squeaking sound if you don’t tighten them up. You can continue on with your workout without tightening them, but I want them right. It takes about 4 seconds to tighten them, so it’s not like you TOTALLY interrupt your workout, but it is a little annoying. I say a “little” annoying because this was only $150 so for that price, you really can’t complain TOO much. The squeaking sound isn’t loud, you can’t hear it through your headphones, but you kinda know it’s squeaking because as I said, the machine moves differently also. Other than that, the machine is VERY quiet. You wont disturb anyone, family, neighbors, etc. I live in an apartment and I’m on the top floor, so I definitely needed a quiet machine. I’ve included a video so you can hear the machine. The machine is easy to move around, and it’s battery operated, so there are no cords. This machine gives you a great workout even on the first resistance level. You will be dripping in sweat, and there are 7 other levels, so you can really grow into doing more with this machine. You can also pedal in the reverse motion if that’s your thing. If I can find away to stop the screws from becoming lose. I would give this machine a full 4 stars. ... show more
