This is a GREAT product! A family member has a hearing problem but also has difficulty with fine motor skills. My family member was able to use this INDEPENDENTLY right out of the box with NO FRUSTRATION!!!! My family member was SO EXCITED!!!! (Other brands: tiny expensive ear canal hearing aids are a complete waste of money if you cannot put them in your ear independently.) ELIMINATE FRUSTRATION with SuperEar Personal Sound Amplifier Model SE5000. It is AMAZING for these reasons: 1. Easy to use 2. Headphone and earbuds are included: both are easy to use! 3. One triple AAA battery required. (yes you read correctly, just one!) 4. On/off switch 5. Contact information includes: website, 800 number and email (you can't go wrong) 6. We watched the video several times and were convinced this was the product for my family member. 7. If thus could help us it can help you too! :) I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to because of the EASE of using this product!!!! We had just spent WASTED$1300 on hearing aids which kept falling out and made my family member angry that they could not do this independently. Our granny used this when she could no longer use her hearing aides. It was amazing for her to hear us again! The only issue was sometimes it would have loud static in the background if it was turned up too loud.

My uncle did not qualify for Hearing Aids due to severe nerve damage. I bought him this to be able to communicate and not shout at him in the nursing home. It surprisingly works very well.

I got this for my grandma who has really bad hearing loss, where hearing aids we spent hundreds of dollars on don’t work due to how bad it is. These work the best she is able to hear everyone and can actually make out the words. She uses the headphones not the earbuds and it works just the same and to her it is more comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone who needs hearing aids.

Didn’t work for my grandma her hearing is to bad! Might work for others! I have seen it work good for elderly in nursing homes I’ve worked! It was worth the try!

It works perfectly for watching TV. My wife no longer has the TV blasting, so I can hear. She can set the volume just right for her. Then I can turn up the volume on the SuperEar Personal Sound Amplifier. I turn the volume up nearly as high as it will go. The sound quality is great.

Bought this for my mom and it does not work well at all!! Conversations and t.v sounds which are the main reason we bought this are too faint and not audible enough for someone hard of hearing, but ambient or rustling sounds from any movement nearby are too loud. Will return.
