    • Better than my $6000 prescription hearing aids
I had top-of-the-line prescription hearing aids from one of the top providers and fitted by one of the top Audiology clinics in the DFW Metroplex. They struggled in noisy places like a restaurant and had a bunch of other bugs. I was about ready to give up, and honestly -- it is depressing. Facing a future where people just get mad at you for a disability and not being able to do anything about it. I shopped the top OTC hearing aids and after A LOT of research I thought Jabra was my best candidate, but I did not have high expectations. I've owned Jabra phone headsets and they have been amazing, so I figured they had a chance to be ... "acceptable". These exceed my $6000 prescription hearing aids. The app is great -- just what I need and nothing I don't! I can adjust them on the fly from my iPhone. They work significantly better in a restaurant and in the car. They are very good for phone calls. What they are NOT good at -- music. They suck. All hearing aids suck for music, but conversely, all music-oriented earbuds suck as hearing aids. My recommendation is this: 1. Buy these for hearing aids. Use them when you're in public, meetings, etc. 2. Buy a set of AirPods Pro 3 and do the hearing aid setup. Use those for music, phone calls, Zoom -- especially Zoom! When I do a meeting on my MacBook (Zoom, Teams, etc.), the sound is amazing! I use my AirPods for exercise as well. They can handle the sweat, and if I destroy them I'm out $300, not $2000. I'd love to use my Jabras, but I can't risk damaging or losing them, so I'm a little more hard of hearing in the gym or on the trail. The support is AWESOME! The Audiology team is a tiny fraction of what I paid for a local. They are WAY better and more understanding. No rush - no waiting room. HOWEVER, I do have an ENT with an Audiologist -- I see them and it is paid by insurance. They do the detailed checks that can only be done in person. Then I share their report with the Jabra team to tweak my hearing aids. They are available on short notice and very supportive. Warranty - great! I had one go bad on me -- would intermittently shut down. One call and I had a replacement via FedEx within a couple of days. Overall, I'm super happy with these and will look for an upgrade in a couple of years. If Jabra continues to crush it, then I won't be going back to prescription. ... show more

I bought these hearing aids and I really liked them at first. I took the hearing test and scheduled an appointment to get them fine tuned. On the day of my appointment I was told that I didn't take my hearing test. They said they would send me the info again to take it. After 5 weeks of waiting, I never received the info needed. During this time, the left hearing aid quit working. I contacted Amazon and told them the problem. I sent them back and now I'm still waiting for my refund. My refund was to be done about two weeks ago. Here it is June 17th, and I'm still waiting. Now they are saying I wont get my refund until July 2nd. I'm tired of the run around from this vender. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR. DO NOT BUY JABRA HEARING AIDS. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS ... show more

I am a 72-year-old first time hearing aid user who had been struggling with conversations, TV volume, background noise, and overall clarity. I was even reading lips to communicate with loved ones. After visiting an audiologist, I learned I had significant hearing loss. The clinic recommended hearing aids ranging from $5,000 to $12,000, which led me to do my own research. I visited retail stores, searched online, and spoke with friends and family about their experiences. I ultimately chose the Jabra Enhance Select 700 because of the size and comfort, price, excellent reviews, rechargeable battery, and the benefit of an online clinic with real audiology support. These hearing aids feel natural, and I wear them comfortably all day. The sound quality is clear, balanced, and positioned in real time. Background noise is significantly reduced, and voices sound natural. They perform extremely well in restaurants, during TV watching, at church, on phone calls, and outdoors. The technology is easy to use—Bluetooth pairing, app controls, volume adjustments, and charging are all straightforward. I can stream music, calls, and media directly to my ears, which is a wonderful bonus. I will update my review on battery life in a few months, but so far, everything is excellent. Jabra Enhance delivers exactly what they promise. Their customer service, orientation, and ongoing support are exceptional. They can even send updates based on your hearing test results. I want to give a special shout out to James Meyer, EC HIS Hearing Care Specialist, who provided outstanding online testing and support during my orientation. I highly recommend these hearing aids to anyone with hearing loss—first time users, experienced users, and seniors alike. You can set them up yourself, but you will have a much better experience if you use the activation card in the box, complete the online testing, and attend orientation so they can be programmed specifically for your hearing needs. ... show more

    • Actual REAL hearing aids!!!
I cannot tell you how happy I am with this purchase. I have hearing loss in both ears. I’ve had extremely expensive hearing aids leaning towards $6000 for both ears. These actually give them a run for their money. I’m a young guy, I love music, so let’s just say I’m a little picky. I don’t want to just hear voices clearly I want to experience everything else too. The app is great too easy to make adjustments. You can also just ask for a change in the programming without needing to talk to anyone. Explain the issue and boom done within a couple days. I haven’t done the tele-visit yet so I can’t give you much information there. These work great out of the box so honestly I might not even do it. I love that it comes with a warranty and audiologist for 3 years. Bluetooth streaming they fall flat. Music doesn’t sound good while streaming from the phone. Calls as well. But for hearing everything around you they’re perfect. So, I’ll put my phone on speaker and listen to music organically instead of streaming. They’re super comfortable too just like most OTE aids I’ve found. You forget you’re wearing them lol. Oh and last thing if you’ve ever gotten hearing aids through a doctor/audiologist you know certain parts like the wires are hard to find.     • Phone App Does Not Work if You Cannot Log In
Overall I like the hearing aids. I would have given a 5-star review except for what I am about to describe. There is a mobile phone app that allows one to change settings and customize frequency sensitivity on the hearing aids. It connects to the hearing aids via Bluetooth. It works pretty well as long as you are at home or have mobile phone coverage. If you are in an area with no mobile phone coverage, no WiFi, i.e., no way to connect to the internet, the mobile phone app is completely useless. Even though the phone and hearing aids have bluetooth on and can connect, you cannnot log into your Jabra account, and the app will not connect to the hearing aids. The sheer stupidity of Jabra to not consider this use case just boggles my mind. Whether it is sheer stupidity or corporate arrogance does not matter. After spending this much money I expected much better. ... show more

I really do enjoy the jabra select 700 hearing aid. They work pretty good for the most part they connect instantly to bluetooth for video and audio but for some reason struggle to connect to my phone for incoming and out going calls. I really love the adjustability of the hearing aids and the app so far has been flawless. Changing the settings on the hearing aids is instantaneous. ... show more

I'm returning these for two reasons: 1. The sound quality is poor. They work well for voices, but it's impossible to listen to music with them on. 2. The bluetooth connectivity is weak. Streamed sound often comes through just one of them at a time, they sometimes break up into weird digital noise, and they won't pair with any of my devices except my phone, even though I was told that Windows 11 supports BLE and I have a BLE/BT6 adapter on my computer. ... show more

Very expensive but the support and quality are far far better than Sony’s “ hearing aides which are actual amplifiers In spite of what they call them. These are real hearing aides and you meet on a zoom meeting with a doctor who walks you through setup cleaning and anything you ask. I did have to return my charger and they sent me a new one as it was not charging both at the same time. They also sent new wires and provided a video access to show you how to install them.
