  • Good quality hearing amplifiers
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price and features offered. They do have different modes that you can select although I cannot tell the difference between any of the modes. I have poor hearing due to turbine engine whine and years of exposure even wearing protection. These hearing aids on the lowest setting are too loud for me. I still have a hard time understanding conversation. In my case, all they did was make my poor hearing louder! That doesn't mean that they won't work well for your. It is really cool that the case has a battery in it that charges up and if your aids go down you can charge them again just by placing them in the storage case. I bought these as backups to use when my better ones are in for repair or being replaced. the quality is quite good I think! They just didn't work out well for me. ... show more

  • Clear sound
Sound is very good. This is the second pair I bought. The first one was very good but after about five months the left one stopped working so this time I also bought a protection plan with them. They have four modes and enough volume levels that you should be able to find the ones that works best for you. ... show more

  • Hearing at its best
Best option for the price (if only she would wear them)

  • The left one was dead on arrival.
The left one was dead on arrival. It never worked, even after a long charging session. The feedback suppression is very poor. The feedback is very loud. There doesn't seem to be any limiting against sudden loud noises. The modes of operation seem to be different from each other but I was not able to determine if any of those helped my hearing. They do have a small amount of noise attenuation. The charging case has a control button and some unusual modes of operation. The charging lights turn off automatically after 10 seconds and I think it continues to charge when the lights are off. You have to press the control button again to see if the ear pieces are charged, or not, by reading the lights. The manual lists the harmonic distortion at frequencies of 500 Hz, 800 Hz, and 1600 Hz, all are listed as <= 7 +3 %. That is pretty high. Because of these problems, I am returning them for a refund. ... show more

  • Love these
Sadly, I paid over $3000 for rechargeable hearing aids from a reputable hearing place to supposedly fit my hearing needs, be paired to my phone (which is a nuisance to me)! After about 4 years, I was told by hearing clinician that I was about to need new hearing batteries for hearing aids, For another $150 +. Next step for me would be cochlear implants! Instead, I bought these for less than $100 and I LOVE them! I can hear much better! When these wear out or quit, charging, I will simply order some more! I advise anyone to try these! ... show more

  • Overall worth the money
Ok but more of an amplifier than a hearing aid. For the money ok. A little hard to fit properly. But overall worth the price.

  • Not very beginner friendly, needs more instructions for me to use, but worth a shot.
After spending 20 years wearing a headset all day for work, I started having issues with my hearing. I have always had some trouble understanding what people are saying, but I learned how to read lips to assist in person and turned up the volume for phone calls. Now I find myself struggling with hearing more constantly. If there is more than one type of sound at the same time, or they are not looking my way when talking, I struggle to hear them. Some tones are harder to hear than others, like my husband. If he talks low, I cannot hear him at all. I have used amplifiers before, and they worked in certain circumstances ok, but it doesn't clear up the sound, and anything outdoors was a no-go. This device seemed to be different and clarified to be different from an amplifier multiple times. The main issue that I have with these is that there was not much guidance to get the best results. There are instructions included on how to charge, adjust the mode and volume, but not how to know how to use them. I struggled with the feedback when I put it in, not sure if the mode was wrong, or why. I struggled with telling if they were charged or what mode they were in. The fit was decent, there are a few different ear caps to make sure the size fits like with other headsets. It was light-weight, and I didn't feel like it was hitting any pressure points when I wore it. The build quality seemed a little fragile to me, the wire is so thin and the connection feels like it is already loose. I am not planning on tossing them around, but I do want to feel like I won't break them trying to get them to work in my ears. I am sure with practice I will get more confident with them, learn to program them faster, and enjoy them more. For now, though, I wish there were more instructions. Maybe a link to a guide or video would help. ... show more
