This is a great device, not just for seniors but adults as well. The sound is amplified and clear as well. From the very beginning I didn't think this device was going to work that is, until I walked into the next room.. I heard the bedroom TV all the way to the front door; clear as day. Seemed to eliminate some of the tinnitus as well, which is amazing However, I did take away one star for the setting up process as that was quit difficult. But hoping for longevity of this device. And be mindful of the domes you chose to add onto the device. One got stuck in my ear and only my ENT was able to take out. But other than that great work.

I have previously had a hard time finding affordable hearing aids that are both effective and comfortable, particularly due to my sensitive ears. The Metiko hearing aids have successfully addressed these requirements and have been performing exceptionally well. They are remarkably user-friendly, and because I often use my phone to manage different features in my house, I greatly appreciate the ability to control these hearing aids in a similar way. Charging them is quite simple; I just place the hearing aids into their case and plug them in when going to sleep at night, ensuring they are fully charged by morning. Their battery life is impressive, lasting throughout the entire day. The background noise cancellation feature functions very effectively. Initially, I experienced a minor issue, which I believe was due to an incorrect dome size. Once I made the adjustment, the problem was resolved. With numerous kids in the family, there is often a considerable amount of noise and yelling. These hearing aids effectively filter out such sounds, preventing them from becoming louder than conversations, a problem I have encountered with other devices in the past. They have been gentle on my ears and do not add any noticeable weight, which is crucial given my ear sensitivity. Also, their small size and placement make them quite discreet. I am very pleased with these hearing aids, as they have surpassed all others I have used in the past, including some that were considerably more expensive. I highly recommend them.

These METIKO hearing aid domes were not what I expected. I was looking for a replacement dome for my Resound hearing aids. They came with two sizes, and once the correct size is chosen, they stayed in place on the hearing aid. However, these domes do not have a wax screen like the actual ReSound domes (and a couple of other replacement domes). The silicone material is soft, flexible, and gentle on the ears, even with extended wear, but that is where I cannot give the dome a higher rating. The dome acted more like a plug in my ear. I left like I had noise canceling headphones on when using these domes, and I didn't get any improvement in hearing quality, if anything, it went down. The included brush cleaner is a nice bonus and makes routine maintenance simple. Everything is lightweight and easy to carry, which is convenient for travel or daily use. Overall, these domes are not a good choice and I would look around for another choice. Rating: 2 stars

It has a good size, good functionality, and good sensitivity. It is easy to use, the sound quality is good, and it charges easily. Overall, it works very well. It has great quality, a good shape, and good battery life. One possible disadvantage is that it may be a bit large for small ears. However, despite that, it performs well. Considering the price, it offers good quality and seems durable.

It took 24 hours for the Bluetooth to start working for me. So, if you have problems connecting to them, do all of the set-up process, take the hearing test, and set the hearing aids back in their case and wait 24 hours. That warning aside, I can do the review. As stated above, these do have some system issues with the Bluetooth connectivity, but I was able to download the app, take the hearing test, and perform all the set-up processes just not actually use the app on my phone for a day. I have a lower-end version of the METIKO's that do not have Bluetooth and they really work great if you do not need the Bluetooth connectivity for cell phone device management (at a much lower cost). Just click the "Visit the METIKO Store" link and check out their other devices. This one has better buttons on the back for volume control, mode choice and to turn on. The manual does say you can turn them off by holding the down button for 5 seconds but that feature did not work for me. You can place them back in the case and they will turn off automatically, like other models of Metiko hearing aids. The feedback noise is manageable through the app by changing the Soft Sound Enhancement settings in the app. I don't think you can change that without the app. I was getting a lot of feedback noise while watching TV during loud moments, so I changed the settings to Level 5 of Loud Sound Suppression, and the feedback noise went away. The case is flatter than other models of Metiko hearing aids, so it is good for pocket carry. As with other models from Metiko, this one comes with a vast array of ear canal plugs, so you'll be able to find the right size. Remember, the feedback noise comes from not just sound but poorly fitted ear canal plugs. Get the right size to form a nice seal and the noise will be easily mitigated. I strongly recommend these to anyone who has hearing problems. Medical-grade hearing aids at these prices are very hard to come by. This model of Metiko hearing aids comes with auditory test software and an app with Bluetooth connectivity all from Amazon delivered to your door for a fraction of the cost of going to the doctor. Most doctors use companies that highly inflate the prices of hearing aids to stick it to the medical insurance companies. With companies like Metiko making medical grade hearing aids like this, you really do not need to give companies tons of cash.
