The material seems a lot thicker than the other pool pillows that we have. It had good reviews, so I bought 3. I’m hoping for the best, as last year we had two pillows deflate after we had closed the pool up.

I had previously purchased the 4x4 pillow from this brand at it has held up thru 3 winters so far! So I then purchased the 4x8 size from same brand. For the first 1.5 winters, this thing held up great. However, around March/April of the 2nd somewhat milder than normal winter season, it started to lose air. After I opened the pool up this summer, I later blew this item up and examined carefully w/ a soap and water mix to see if I could tell where it is leaking air, I am unable to. The pillow's large size makes this task very difficult and it will hold air for about 3 days before it becomes noticeably deflated. I suspect the leak might be along one of the seams on the edges, but I am unable to locate it. I have recently purchased another brand for roughly the same cost that this item is currently selling for and will report back on that product's performance in due time. ... show more

the Libericoo 4'x15' pool pillow feels thick and sturdy and has a high quality fill valve similar to those found on towable tubes for boating. It was the perfect size for winterizing our 12'x22' oval Bestway Pool. It came with two nylon cords that I cut in half to make 4 pieces which were plenty long enough to secure the tube at all four corners. I used this tube and a 19'x29' tarp to cover the pool. the pool has 4 ft tall sides, a 15'x25' tarp might have fit better without draping all the way to the ground, but this setup should be good to go through moderate CA winter (no freezing). I will update if the pool pillow fails prematurely. UPDATE: The Liberecoo pool pillow performed flawlessly all winter, from about Sept - May in northern CA climate. ... show more

Update: Liberco sent a replacement very fast. Should be all set to go now. Changing rating due to them making it right. Thanks! I purchased a 4x4 pillow last year from this company and it worked great, so I decided to get the 4x8 for my new pool to close it this season. It deflated after only 4 days under my winter cover. Using Dawn, I was able to locate two holes. Both holes are right at the seams as you can see in the photo. Clearly a manufacturing defect. I bought it last month and just got around to closing my pool, so of course I fell just outside of the 30 day window. It stinks because the first one I purchased was great, but this one was just a waste of $50, and now I have to find another one from another company and close my pool all over again. ... show more

    • Sturdy pillows with rope that is provided

These pillows by far are more durable than the ones I bought last yr(those cheap ones previously, deflated and didn’t even withstand wind for a weekend) The material is way thicker the plug is a legit sturdy plug the grommets aren’t going to rip in a wind when the pool tarp is flapping, and the rope it comes with has more than enough lengths on each rope to properly secure it. We have a 12x24’ pool and we got 2 pillows, inflated them to about 70% and tied them together and secured to each end of the pool. My winter pool cover is thanking me as last yr bcz the cheap pillows popped right away the pool cover didn’t fit right and was ripped to shreds. If yiu buy these you won’t have an issue. ... show more
