These are comfortable, very easy to use with no complicated controls and no pairing to anything just one simple button on each hearing aid that changes volume and allows you to turn it off. The different volume levels are good buy they may not get loud enough if you have bad hearing loss. These earbud style hearing amplifiers have a nice low profile, and they look fairly stylish. I really like that they are rechargeable, so there are no tiny batteries I have to swap out. The charging case is pretty compact, which makes it very portable and travel-friendly. The set includes several options of ear domes to choose from along with a small cleaning brush and charging cord. As far as performance goes, these do amplify the volume of most ambient sounds fairly well. Unfortunately, they’re not quite sophisticated enough to pick out just certain frequencies or sound sources, but rather they augment all surrounding sounds. If I’m in a quiet room by myself without a lot of other noise, they perform pretty well. They have helped me hear the television better, and that was my main reason for trying these out. The downside is that if there are other people in the room or pets making noise, then those sounds can be distracting. Sometimes my own footsteps on the tile floor are pretty loud. Overall, though, they have helped me, and I will admit that I’m still getting used to them. I’ll keep trying different volume levels and different situations to see what works best for me. For now, I will say that they are easy to use, and I appreciate the large one-button functionality. They also seem to fit pretty well, and they’re comfortable to wear. ... show more

I told my musician husband that if he said “what?” one more time, I was going to get him hearing aids. He did, so I did. He shocked me by using them and I’m happy to say he can hear me when he wears them! They don’t fall out of his ears, he finds them reasonably comfortable if he only wears them occasionally, and they don’t make him feel dizzy or disoriented. These are good for short-term wear. He uses them when we have a lot of family over and says they help him selectively focus on conversations. I’m just happy that when he starts making me repeat myself, I can hand him these and it stops. ... show more

Well I had high hopes for these amplifiers but they didn't pan out well. Both left and right sides turn on independently The right one seem to work pretty well and I could adjust the volume easily The left one as soon as it turned it on I got a high-pitched squeal and the volume only made the squeal worse up or down. The charging base works well and charges up the hearing aids in a reasonably quick time. They seem to stay in my ears okay and I was able to change the settings fairly easily. One thing that caused me to take off a star in the rating was a very mild low level background noise, kind of like barely hearing air rushing by, it is not super bad and does not keep me from using them but still something I needed to mention. Maybe I'll eventually get to where I will notice it less but in all fairness it is reasonably slight enough as to not be really annoying. Also it might be a part of getting used to using a hearing aid when you are not used to wearing one. Given the very low price as compared to how much some hearing aids cost I can't complain much as it does help, just takes some getting used to when you are not used to wearing them. What I really like about these is the sound and clarity of voices the quality is excellent! The case is very compact, so easily fits in my purse or my pocket and so easy to use. There’s no additional dials. It’s just pressing the button to turn them on, off & volume all on that one button. These assist me when I’m in the movie theater and the movies, for some reason don’t appear to be as loud as they used to be so this helps amplify the sound. ... show more

They're okay. These are better than the thin plastic over-ear ones you can get but they aren't spectacular at clarifying sound. They were irritating to have background noise be overload in proximity to other people, music, or the tv. I found them best to augment sound when I was in a room with no other people, conversations, pets, or distractions. Essentially they're good for raising sound of a single focus in a room. This earbud has a stylish wireless earphone design. They are comfortable to wear and come with three different sizes of ear domes that can fit various ear sizes. It is easy to use for the elderly. You can adjust the volume by pressing the big button to turn it on or off. The hearing aids are hearing amplifiers, and there are six levels of volume you can adjust independently on both ears.
