  • Very Nice Enclosed Optic
Just picked this up for my H&K P30L. Had to change the optics plate (Langdon Tactical cut) to an ACRO mount, but it fits perfectly on it and locks down solid. The body appears to be pretty durable and stout without being overly heavy. Controls are nice and large so adjusting brightness and/or choosing dot style is pretty easy. ACRO mounts are probably the easiest installation of any of the footprints since it works like a pic rail. No screws into the plate to worry about getting torqued just right. It does really need a torque spec listed for the clamp screw, though. Never really liked "make it tight, but be careful not to over tighten it" with no spec for what "tight" is. Dots are extremely bright on the max setting and much calmer on the lower settings. Again, it is nice to be able to choose different reticles for different situations. Battery is side loading, which is nice as you don't have to remove the optic for swaps. Only issue I have with the battery compartment is that the tiny screw that holds it in place seems easy to lose as it is not captured. So be careful swapping batteries. We'll see how it does at the range this weekend at holding zero. Adjustments are nice and tactile with just enough resistance to turning to make me think they will stay put pretty good. May wind up being awfully high if you were to use the RMR to ACRO adapter that comes with it on most RMR cut applications. But sits at a nice height on the ACRO specific plate I have installed. ... show more

  • Great dot for the cost
Incredible dot and huge window. With the size of the window, just know this is wider than most slides. I am not a huge fan of the Acro P2 but I would definitely run this dot instead. This also did not work with my Acro P2 plate. I had to buy a modified version that has straight sides.

  • The light going out after 2nd mag
Wanted to write a good review for this so bad But after I paid 66$ to get it sighted and 33 for the range just to have the red dot go out on me is crazy, it went dead I had to unscrew the battery 2times at the range it fit pretty big on my gun didn’t have an issue with brightness but I had 1 with the functionality ... show more

  • All this for how much money!!?
This AIMWIN PE320 optic is a winner in my opinion. I have had it now for a couple months and it is worth every penny, not t o mention much less than comparable 'top tier name brands' that don't even have all the features. I installed mine on a sturdy Swampfox riser and above Flux Raider X / Sig P320 (coincidental that the model numbers match. Not my plan), and it has been to multiple trips at both indoor and outdoor ranges. It was easy to zero (would have liked an easier 'torx' or larger 'flat-head screw driver slot') but the included tool does the job. Once zeroed for my specific distance ranges, it has held zero perfectly. The reticle options are crip, clear, and have a good range of illumination. The glass is clear and being enclosed, is easy to clean. I don't do 'drop tests' with my stuff, but I have accidentally 'banged it around' a bit during my drills, and after checking zero and condition of the housing, it appears to be built very well. It is safe to assume it could be dropped on its head and not affect it. I suggest you purchase one before they go up in price. You won't be disappointed. Or you can spend an easy $100 - $200 more and get a 'show off' name brand, if it makes you feel better. But I doubt you will get any better performance than what AIMWIN is offering here with their enclosed optic at about $300. packed with features. ... show more

  • A solid well built optic that held zero with 500 rounds
We’re starting to get in the midtier optics at this price point. I do not agitate anything in the item description. Everything I’ve read is true and accurate based on my testing of this optic. I’m gonna make this short and sweet and just talk about the meat and potatoes of real world observations. Zeroing in the septic, I noticed a few things. First, as I dialed in the clicks, I was happy to not only feel and hear the adjustments, but also the resistance. Typically the more resistance you have with zeroing the units tend to hold zero better. I’m sure that’s not always the case but so far it’s always the case on the ones I’ve tested. As far as holding zero this unit has done great. I haven’t banged it or dropped it. I just fired it hundreds of times and I have not had to go back and zero to me. That’s the most important aspect of an optic if it cannot hold zero it shouldn’t be on your pew pew. The site picture is actually above average to excellent. I really enjoyed looking through this optic once my muscle memory kicked in. The reason it was an immediate is this site happens to sit a little higher than normal. This is probably one of the reasons it took me a little longer to zero itbecause the higher the optic the greater you’re shooting angle needs to be adjusted. these are the two biggest features I wanted to talk about with this optic. Some of the minor issues would be a quick tip when you change the batteries, do it over a white paper towel because that tiny screw is going to drop. Know that it will and prepare yourself to be able to find it easy when it does otherwise you’re in for some trouble. It would be nice if they could figure out a way where you could unscrew the battery compartment door and not be able to take the screw out 100% because this is so common with the majority of optics and no way would I ever consider taking a star away. This is a well engineered, well built, quality optic, that can hold its own with mid tier optics of a much higher price. Because of that this optic easily sees five star stars. ... show more
