The automatic litter box is a fine and well made device. Our cats were a bit slow to accept it at first, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue with the litter box itself—it’s just their usual picky cat behavior. They’re using it very well now. A friend of mine bought the Neakasa automatic litter box for $399 and recommended it to me, but I didn’t really have the budget for it. So I went with the Invengo automatic litter box instead. It has the same core features, and honestly, I feel like I got a great deal. I’m very picky when it comes to aesthetics, and I really like how this litter box looks. It has solved the long-standing hassle of manual cleaning. Now that I have this automatic litter box, life with my cats feels much more peaceful and harmonious. The strong odor has also been significantly reduced. It comes with an app that allows both automatic and manual cleaning. The default setting is to clean after 6 minutes, but I prefer a quicker cycle, so I set it to 3 minutes. The waste bin is quite large—I usually only need to empty it every 3–5 days. Even short trips are no problem. It also has a very helpful alert system that reminds me when the bin is full and needs to be emptied. As for noise, the unit runs very quietly. One important note: make sure to follow the installation video carefully. Don’t mix up the legs (R with R, L with L), and make sure the bearing cover is properly installed and fully secured—otherwise it can cause noise during operation. At first, I didn’t install the bearing cover correctly. I had to switch it to the OFF position and check for any looseness by lifting it up. I contacted customer service, and they were very patient and helpful in guiding me through the correct setup. After fixing the installation, everything has been working perfectly. Inside the package, you get the automatic litter box unit, two rolls of waste bags (40 bags total), a cleaning brush, an anti-tracking mat, a user manual, and an installation guide. Update: Customer support reached out and now everything works. It feels a downgrade from Neakasa M1, slightly smaller, and the cleanup is not as frictionless as M1, but given the price point, I’m happy with the product Original review: I have a Neakasa M1 and everything works perfectly. I want another one and this one costs 1/3 of the price and appears otherwise similar. I want to try my luck. My first 24 hours have been mixed - it's slightly smaller than the M1, and the bottom of the box is a kind of sturdy fabric, vs rubber on M1, also the M1 has a ring on the bottom of the litter box to seal the odor of the waste basket, other than that they are very similar. - set up is as simple as it gets, putting on the legs, snap in the legs, slide in the waste basket and you are on. WIFI connection also worked quickly - the most important thing, the cats are using it. - the cleaning process is very similar to M1, it just works. - again the box is smaller than M1 but our 17 lb cat doesn't seem to have a problem with it. - Now what doesn't work is the software - it recorded 0 usage, there's no auto cleaning even if it's set up, and there's no notification. I have 4 cats, 16 yo, two around 9 and one 6. At first no one was interested in using the new potty box and would all gather around as if in a meeting to give their own personal view of it! Finally, the smallest one jumped in and that helped the other two to be encouraged. The best thing is that it cleans automatically and there is no noise. After a week, my husband did notice a slight smell of urine and I changed/replaced the bag. I really like the idea of not having to scoop!! So far, my three younger cats will only pee in this box! They still prefer to poop in the other boxes. Silly cats! I do have a senior cat with arthritis and he is no longer able to jump into the cat box of this height which is a slight problem. I did measure the height and it’s 11” from floor to the center of the open area. I added a box as a step to encourage him to use it but he has a little kitty dementia and sticks to his routine of using the other box in the washroom. I still have two other cat potty boxes that I clean manually. I hope to in a couple of months replace another one with a lower entry level area for our senior. Another BIG plus is the amount of cat litter that I have NOT had to buy! I generally buy 3-4 of the 20 pound container of cat litter each month. So far this month (July) just two. Almost a $25+ savings!! The app is another advantage to have on my phone and can check it check out wherever I am. I can tell who (by their weight) has been using it and how many times a day as well as how many times it has been cleaned automatically. I still gave this product 5 stars for it did everything it said it would even though my old man cat can’t use it. ... show more

We bought this automatic cat litter box to help save time, and it has completely eliminated our need for daily scooping. Our cat was actually pretty reluctant to use the robot at first. She is typically very messy in the litter box and constantly throws litter out of her old box onto the floor. However, after a couple of weeks, she is becoming much more accustomed to it. The best part is that we haven’t had any issues with scattered litter since switching and the machine does a fantastic job of keeping the mess contained. Even though this box holds less litter than the plain box we used before, it stays clean and does a good job despite the smaller capacity. We haven’t noticed any smells at all, though to be fair, smell has never really been a big issue for us. Mechanically, the machine has been flawless. We haven’t had any clogs or blocked sensors so far. The automated notifications are very useful for tracking litter usage, and I expect that if we do eventually have a clog or an issue, the notification system will alert us right away. Lastly, while the machine appears quite large when you first see it, the actual floor footprint is not much more than a normal box.     • Nice but not suitable for large cats!
This box is very nice and works very well however, the area where the litter goes is very small and is more suitable for a kitten or a small petite cat. My cat is a big boy and weighs 14 pounds and he could barely fit in it. He did use it once however before going back to his old box so now I’m out $150. It was very easy to assemble and I do like the large tray underneath unfortunately he couldn’t use it enough for me to give a review on odor control. If they would make the box bigger that holds the litter and a little bit deeper, it would be a great litter box. ... show more

I really love this litterbox. I got my first 6 month old kitten about 3 weeks ago and needed a self-cleaning litterbox because of health reasons. I'm pretty sure my cat is too smart for her own good, she actually will use the litterbox and then sit there waiting for the cleaning to start. Once it starts, she puts her paws on the frame where the sensors are. The sensors stop every time until she removes her weight and does about a fifteen second pause before resuming the cleaning cycle, or more likely my cat puts her paws back on the litterbox two seconds later. She's not afraid of it, she's fascinated, and will stop the cycle, jumps in the box, play with the litter inside, jumps out, on and on... but the sensors never fail to sense her weight, and stop cleaning until she's gone. The sensors are sensitive enough that I get alerts about my dog digging through the litterbox, which is gross but useful because I can stop her in time. My only issue is the app. It will send me notifications no matter where I am (including at work) when my cat jumps in the litterbox but nothing when she gets out, and I don't get any cleaning notifications unless I run it manually by using the button on the actual litterbox, even at home. I have it set to clean five minutes after the cat uses it, mainly because of my dog that digs in the litterbox and I don't want her eating out of that. If I didn't have a litter digger dog it would probably be a 4.5 star, but I would use a little caution if your a diverse multi-pet home. ... show more
