I always thought that crocs were a croc. Just another fad, and a weird one at that. Then my doctor recommended them because I have wide feet exacerbated by bunions. They're perfect! I didn't think of them as walking shoes, but they work very well for that too. I got "chocolate" because I don't like wacky colors. These will work with slacks or jeans. The bumps in the bottom seemed like they'd get uncomfortable, but to the contrary. They were like a nice foot massage. I walked for about 45 minutes in these shoes -- in town on flat surfaces -- and they were so comfortable. I forgot I was wearing shoes. I worried that I wouldn't be able to trot across the street without them slipping, like when wearing sandals, but they fit so well that there were no concerns. The back strap is perfect, it doesn't slip and it's not too snug. I just love everything about these shoes. I'm so glad my doctor recommended them. ... show more

Though I've been in the Food & Beverage Industry for decades as a GM surrounded by Chefs all in clogs, I've never even tried one on! Got a pair of Crocs for Christmas and ... WOW! As an older person, weight of clothing has become problematic. Regular footwear that doesn't help with sciatica and that includes heavy Scott Zoris. These are ABSOLUTELY COMFY! The soles are SOFT and just a bit bouncy! I was worried about slipping, but the bottom of the soles 'cause they're not 100% smooth + have small pattern anti-slip bumps on them, I feel secure on tile or marble floors! The interior has "massaging" bumps too, but perhaps some won't like that, but I do. AND they come in FUN colors with FUN patterns and themes, ha! However, I recently purchased a non-Croc brand pair of "lined" clogs and big mistake! The soles are hard and even though I planned on using them strictly inside to keep my feet warm, the soles are a big negative, sigh. I will be expanding my Croc collection for both comfort and FUN! I wore these when they first came out 20 something years ago. They’re super comfortable, and great to just slip on and go. Great for poolside, vacation, it gets to where, these are all you want to wear! But the younger generation, who are wearing them now, used to call them old man, daddy shoes! Well, who is the old dad now? Ha ha ha! Caution: when the tread gets worn on these, they become very slippery on wet surfaces! I kid you not! Once the tread wears down, you will find out what I mean. I love how confortable these crocs are, but with socks on. They feel good without any socks, but with socks on just gives them that extra cushion that my feet need. Was a little skeptical about if these were legit crocs or fake, mainly because the tag wasn’t attached to the crocs, they came in loose in the crocs bag so my mind just went thinking, so went through google searching on how someone can tell if crocs are legit or fake. Everything came out legit, only thing I was left looking for was if the croc logo on each side had to be right side up when the back strap was down and upside down when the strap was up, but no luck. So I’m hoping crocs company doesn’t really focus on putting the logo correctly and just puts it on however it lands. But all in all they are some great shoes/slippers/crocs, was always against them from the get go but my niece has some and I love her so much that I wanted to be just like her so got myself a pair. I love them so much that I didn't even want to wear them outside. So for the people who don’t like the way the spikes inside of the crocs feel, just put on a pair of socks. ... show more
