It was completely assembled and worked perfectly right out of the box. It has effectively kept my 2 German shepherds from going litter diving LOL, they can't get their head in to get to the litter and I don't have cat litter all over the floor since it is caught in the box. I have 1 cat that likes to throw out the litter when digging and this box fixed that issue as well. I absolutely love this litter box, even more than the litter robot 4 which I have to keep it in a room with a cat gate to keep the dogs out. This is by far the cleanest, odor free, neatest litter box ever. I have bought and I have gone through 4. This litter box is a little expensive but cheaper than the litter robot.     • BEST AUTOMATIC CAT LITTER BOX CLEANER

Very expensive, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! This is the absolute best cat litter box automatic cleaner! It's easy to use. The cat waste bin is AMAZING! I just love when you open the tray, the bag is already closed and ready for you to pull it out and replacing the bag takes 5 seconds. It never leaks. Other automatic cleaners would end up having bits of the waste and clumping cat litter along the edges and outside of the bag and it was a royal pain to clean. That NEVER happens with PetSnowy. It's very sturdy. Both of my cats, 1 that's 22 lbs likes to jump on the top and sit there. The inside container is easy to clean. Once a week, I take out the litter bed, clean it, add new litter and wipe down the inside of the container. I also clean the litter mat, and wipe down the entire machine, inside and out, including under the round container. All in, can take about 20-30 mins, depending on how much the litter bed needs to be scrubbed. I had to recently move back into my father's home to help care for him and my father and brother had the cat litter box in the same room as the dining room table, practically next to it. I couldn't stand it because it smelled so bad!!!! Especially because the 22 lb cat, for whatever reason would like to go to the bathroom just as we would be sitting down to eat. PetSnowy has fixed that problem. I NEVER smell anything. People that come over are astonished that they can't smell anything either, which has led them to buy their own PetSnowy. The app is always letting you know everything going on with it. Including, when it's cleaning and deodorizing, when it's completed. If something is wrong, whether that's the wi-fi connection or the top wasn't installed correctly or when the waste tray hasn't been installed correctly. That has only happened when I'm cleaning and/or putting it back together when done. It tells you when the deodorizer needs to be replaced. I have had this litter box for more than six months and I absolutely love it. My home smells so much better than before. And it saves me money on litter. It cuts the cost of litter at least by half. It works wonderfully. The cleaning is minimal. It is so easy to clean. I have tried three other electric litter boxes and this one beats them, hands down. The assembly was so easy. When I got it, it was pretty much all assembled. I haven't had poo sticking to the sides of the tumbler. I had that problem with all the others I have tried. So we have been using this litter box for 6 months now. We have 2 cats, One is 13lbs and the other is 19 lbs. The 19 lb cat uses this box always. We have a second hand scoop type box down stairs. Our 13 lb cat likes the down stairs box but does use pet snowy too. The app is not very good. It continually drops out and I have to reinstall. This causes me to not see all the times the cats use the box. Works sometimes so that's where 1 star came off. In 6 months the app never improved. I never let the box get full and then notify me to change the bag. I change it once a week on trash day. The bag container is pretty full but would probably last a couple more days. If both cat used it a a primary box it might not last a week. But this works for us. If we're gone for a week, there is always 1 clean litter box. You will find that if the down stairs box isn't cleaned for a few days the cats will go to the clean pet snowy box. Cats don't like dirty litter boxes. We use the world's best cat litter. It's made from corn. It works great in this box, clumps up good and we think it holds oder better. We have it in the main living area and don't smell the real stinkers. In the old box after a cat number 2, wow, so bad. This is an improvement. Litter tracking is hugely improved but not eliminated. The design makes it hard for cats to scoop large amounts of litter out when covering it up. This is a really big litter box. It will take up some space. It took our cats a couple weeks to get comfortable using this box and even longer for them leaving it alone once it started a cleaning cycle. The sound of the cleaning cycle caused curiousness and cause them to climb in and check it out. The box stops when it senses the weight of a cat for safety reasons. So it took months before they left it alone. They don't pay any attention to it anymore. I add some fresh litter during the week to keep it working properly for the cats. Always press the reset Botton after adding fresh litter. This allows the litter box to properly weigh the cats. The bags are expensive and proprietary, I knew this up front so I didn't pull any stars for that. Over all we're happy with the purchase. ... show more
