Very expensive, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! This is the absolute best cat litter box automatic cleaner! It's easy to use. The cat waste bin is AMAZING! I just love when you open the tray, the bag is already closed and ready for you to pull it out and replacing the bag takes 5 seconds. It never leaks. Other automatic cleaners would end up having bits of the waste and clumping cat litter along the edges and outside of the bag and it was a royal pain to clean. That NEVER happens with PetSnowy. It's very sturdy. Both of my cats, 1 that's 22 lbs likes to jump on the top and sit there. The inside container is easy to clean. Once a week, I take out the litter bed, clean it, add new litter and wipe down the inside of the container. I also clean the litter mat, and wipe down the entire machine, inside and out, including under the round container. All in, can take about 20-30 mins, depending on how much the litter bed needs to be scrubbed. I had to recently move back into my father's home to help care for him and my father and brother had the cat litter box in the same room as the dining room table, practically next to it. I couldn't stand it because it smelled so bad!!!! Especially because the 22 lb cat, for whatever reason would like to go to the bathroom just as we would be sitting down to eat. PetSnowy has fixed that problem. I NEVER smell anything. People that come over are astonished that they can't smell anything either, which has led them to buy their own PetSnowy. The app is always letting you know everything going on with it. Including, when it's cleaning and deodorizing, when it's completed. If something is wrong, whether that's the wi-fi connection or the top wasn't installed correctly or when the waste tray hasn't been installed correctly. That has only happened when I'm cleaning and/or putting it back together when done. It tells you when the deodorizer needs to be replaced. It was completely assembled and worked perfectly right out of the box. It has effectively kept my 2 German shepherds from going litter diving LOL, they can't get their head in to get to the litter and I don't have cat litter all over the floor since it is caught in the box. I have 1 cat that likes to throw out the litter when digging and this box fixed that issue as well. I absolutely love this litter box, even more than the litter robot 4 which I have to keep it in a room with a cat gate to keep the dogs out. This is by far the cleanest, odor free, neatest litter box ever. I have bought and I have gone through 4. This litter box is a little expensive but cheaper than the litter robot. I wish I would have bought this one first, I would not have purchased the litter robot :) ... show more

Updated to 5 stars for excellent customer service. After 20+ years on litter duty and trying countless boxes, here’s my take: Pros: • Contains odor better than open boxes • Super easy to scoop or change the bag — huge plus • Simple to clean and operate • Looks nicer than most litter boxes • Quiet Cons: • Our cats aren’t obsessed with it. The older one uses it only if the curtain isn’t fully down (defeats the odor control). The younger one is less experienced with different boxes, so I don’t fully blame Petsnowy here. • The design caters more to humans than cats. It “hotboxes” the smell inside, so cats come out smelling like litter/poop. Better ventilation would help, without releasing odor into the room. Tips: • Keep it on a flat, steady surface. • I scoop the drawer twice a week and change the bag monthly — no odor issues (we also use air purifiers and a robot vacuum). • Although they recommend clumping litter, I strongly prefer crystal litter. It dries waste, is easier to scoop, and keeps the drawer cleaner. Clumping stays wet, makes the drawer damp, and needs more frequent refills. • Be gentle with the interior mat — too much litter or an overfilled drawer can break it. Mine did, but customer service immediately replaced it. Overall: It’s pricey, but I don’t regret buying it (used a work bonus). I’d recommend it if you can get it discounted or gifted. The biggest win — and why I’m giving 5 stars — is how easy and clean it is to scoop without touching gross parts. That alone made it worth it for me. ... show more

It’s a great litter box. It’s totally changed my daily routine and give them a peace of mind that it will work. It was one of the easiest things to set up and my cat who is an extrovert use it almost immediately. It saves a lot of time because you’re not scooping litter every day, but I will not recommend throwing away your scooper because I’ve had to use it almost every time I’ve cleaned the bottom tray just to get the strap poop off the walls of the inside drum and to get little pieces of poop that the mesh inside doesn’t catch overall if you’re looking to change your life and not have to worry about cleaning up poop every day I would highly recommend this. I love how the litter box is enclosed so it kinda helps with the smell and also that the litter box itself has an automatic deodorizer option that every time he gets out, it automatically turns on so the smell it’s fairly pleasant. I would give it a five star if I didn’t have to clean the actual machine from the poop getting on it from the waste tray. ... show more
