Very expensive, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! This is the absolute best cat litter box automatic cleaner! It's easy to use. The cat waste bin is AMAZING! I just love when you open the tray, the bag is already closed and ready for you to pull it out and replacing the bag takes 5 seconds. It never leaks. Other automatic cleaners would end up having bits of the waste and clumping cat litter along the edges and outside of the bag and it was a royal pain to clean. That NEVER happens with PetSnowy. It's very sturdy. Both of my cats, 1 that's 22 lbs likes to jump on the top and sit there. The inside container is easy to clean. Once a week, I take out the litter bed, clean it, add new litter and wipe down the inside of the container. I also clean the litter mat, and wipe down the entire machine, inside and out, including under the round container. All in, can take about 20-30 mins, depending on how much the litter bed needs to be scrubbed. I had to recently move back into my father's home to help care for him and my father and brother had the cat litter box in the same room as the dining room table, practically next to it. I couldn't stand it because it smelled so bad!!!! Especially because the 22 lb cat, for whatever reason would like to go to the bathroom just as we would be sitting down to eat. PetSnowy has fixed that problem. I NEVER smell anything. People that come over are astonished that they can't smell anything either, which has led them to buy their own PetSnowy. The app is always letting you know everything going on with it. Including, when it's cleaning and deodorizing, when it's completed. If something is wrong, whether that's the wi-fi connection or the top wasn't installed correctly or when the waste tray hasn't been installed correctly. That has only happened when I'm cleaning and/or putting it back together when done. It tells you when the deodorizer needs to be replaced. It was completely assembled and worked perfectly right out of the box. It has effectively kept my 2 German shepherds from going litter diving LOL, they can't get their head in to get to the litter and I don't have cat litter all over the floor since it is caught in the box. I have 1 cat that likes to throw out the litter when digging and this box fixed that issue as well. I absolutely love this litter box, even more than the litter robot 4 which I have to keep it in a room with a cat gate to keep the dogs out. This is by far the cleanest, odor free, neatest litter box ever. I have bought and I have gone through 4. This litter box is a little expensive but cheaper than the litter robot. I wish I would have bought this one first, I would not have purchased the litter robot :) P.S. I love the Activity Log messages, they are soooo cute! ... show more

I have two of these now. I bought the second one only about 3 weeks after I bought the first one, right after all of my three cats proved that they were using that first box. I use clumping corn cat litter, which is pretty messy, so tracking is not completely gone, but it is less than it used to be with my front entrance automatic box I had prior, more them my top entrance I had before though, so kind of medium tracking imo. I kept one old box nearby as I tried to transition them to the first one, mixing in a scoop of old litter, as is often recommended to familiarize them to the scent of it I guess. I let the old box get dirty before I brought in the second one, and they immediately took to it and I got rid of the last old box that same night. I never put in the fragrance shells, was afraid it would deter them (especially my picky oldest) from using the boxes, but I set those aside for later emergencies. I NEVER smell the boxes anymore, it is amazing, and the boxes are always so clean for my babies now. The deodorizing feature plus the well-sealed compartment makes it almost like there is no trace of a litter box (except for the medium-light tracking I mentioned earlier). I used to spend at least 30-45 min every week cleaning litter boxes (my automatic boxes still required a lot of cleanup), and now it is like a 5-10 minute thing once a week to empty one or two small bags and refill the litter. My boy is 7 years old and about 16.5 lbs (hefty), his sister is also 7 and about 6 lbs (very small), and my oldest is 14 years old and 8 lbs. I feel like war is over 😭😌 ... show more

    • A great litterbox that isn't quite a set-and-forget.

The good: Keeps litter in and is very quiet. Fits well under a sidetable in my livingroom and no one notices it at all. The app is pretty cute with it's announcements on what your cat is up to and is helpful in tracking weight and flagging if your cat is napping in the litter. The meh: There is no warning when the bag is full, so you need to check regularly that everything is still good to go. The machine hallway is a bit small for anything over 10 lbs, so this is better for smaller cats. I'm still experimenting with litter choices so this may resolve itself, but litter can and will get stuck to the walls if you have cats that don't aim down. Overall, the machine works well and has met the majority of my needs. For the price I would have liked to have a longer lasting scent filter and notifications when the box is full. ... show more
