I love this litter box. I have purchased a total of three of these boxes. One for myself, my mother and my daughter. I personally have four cats. I live in a 900 square-foot apartment and I could not deal with the smell of a regular litter box. No matter how much I was scooping what litter I used. Air purifier deodorizer is nothing worked. I am a full-time registered nurse and a single mom. Scooping the litter box was also another full-time job. When I bought this, it exceeded my expectations. I can’t even explain how much easier life got and a lot less stinky also! The litter box fits really nicely in a small closet that I have and it is excellent quality. Putting it together I did use the instruction manual, but it was very simple when I put the other two together for my daughter and mom I did not even need the manual as I had done it previously and remembered. I never have to scoop anything. You can adjust the time so that it automatically filters itself. I believe it’s 1 to five minutes. When my cats were learning, I said it for five minutes so it didn’t scare them. It is now at one minute. The only smell that I ever have is when the litter box needs complete litter change, or the bag is full in the bottom. With having four cats, I changed the bag out about every three days. It’s really simple. You just pull out the drawer and sack it up and toss it out. I put brand new litter in it about every two weeks. In between there, I just topped it off with fresh litter when the litter gets low. Changing the litter is also very simple. You hit the middle button and hold it down and it will dump all of the litter into the tree below. Once it goes back to a neutral position, I just take some cleaner and some wipes and paper towels, and wipe it all out really nicely as you can see in the photos. It does hold water so I scrub it and then I hit the button again so that the water drains into the old litter that’s in the bottom. The litter then absorbs that water and then I sack it up and throw it out. I use paper towels to dry out the inside and then put a whole box of fresh litter in. Only having to do complete litter changes and never cleaning my litter box, but every two weeks is amazing with four cats. Also, this simplicity of the litter change in total takes me less than five minutes and it’s very clean. The app allows you to check the cats weight. It lets you know how often your cats are going. You can also automatically hit a button to go ahead and clean it if you don’t want to wait the full minute. Example you’re sitting on the couch and you know your cat just went to the bathroom once your cat is out. You can automatically hit the button and head will filter without waiting the 60 seconds. If your cat does hop in during the rotation, it will stop because I have one boy cat who likes to do this and thinks it’s fun for some reason. He tries to ride this like a ride, but it stops every time 😅 compared to others on the market. This is an amazing price even if I had to get a new litter box once a year it would be very much worth it for the amount of work that it does and saves me. My very clean person and the litter box just always bothered me, but it doesn’t bother me anymore at all. This also helped my daughter who actually doesn’t like to clean her litter box and doesn’t at all…. So gross and it also helps my mom who doesn’t get around well and I feel much better knowing she doesn’t have to scoop the litter box often. When getting your cats used to this litter box, my cats arranged in ages at the time from six months two years old to four years old. The four-year-old cat had been a stray. What I did was put new litter in the automatic litter box and sat it beside of their old litter box. I put a little bit of their old litter inside of the new litter box. For about a week, they were just curious and sniffed around it on occasion they would jump in it and paw at the gravel and then they would get back out. Eventually, the kitten started using the litter box 1st. Then the two-year-old cat and then the four-year-old cat. Once they all started using the litter box, I slowly stopped adding litter to their old litter box and made the new litter box more desirable. I also used a litter attractant that I got on Amazon that may or may not help you depending on your cat. Once they were using it pretty regularly, I put the new litter box the automatic, one in the spot of the old one, and I pulled the old one out. It had gotten pretty gross, but I just left it there and eventually none of the cats wanted to go in it and that’s when I got rid of it. There were never any accidents. The total process probably took about 2 to 3 weeks. It truly was very much worth it. Also, I have used a variety of litters in this. I believe, gravel or sand type litter has worked the best in my old litter box. I used a Krystal litter, but I have not found that to be great for this particular litter box.

I ordered this litter box back in December and it was easy to set up, i’ve had no issues out of it AT ALL. It does a phenomenal job of keeping litter clean and minimizes time spent on cleaning it out. I will say that litter definitely matters! The litter I used to use for regular steel litter boxes did not do good in this. I have found that the clump n seal slide litter works great in this! Just like any other litter box, you do need to clean it but it’s much easier to give it a quick change of bag and wipe down the rest. For deep cleaning, I would recommend ordering more of the insertable mats. I have a total of 3 so when I take out the dirty one to wash, a new one can immediately go in. Cleaning the insert mat is definitely a task but not a long or painful process, just gross. This is worth every penny to me and if you’re tired of scooping a litter box every day, this is going to be amazing for you! I wouldn’t trade this thing for the WORLD! Also, my cat is a relatively small cat and she fits fine in it, but I would caution if you have a cat larger than around 10-11 lbs. I especially like the app that shows you your cats bathroom habits and how much they weigh. It is all around an amazing product and worth every penny!

I have had one other robot litter box. This one is absolutely wonderful. It’s easy to clean. It has great odor control. If you’ve ever had a automatic litter box, you know that some can be very time-consuming and have to be cleaned on a regular basis because when cats use the bathroom, they flick litter sometimes they don’t actually go to the bathroom in the litter box they’ll go outside the litter box. But I have had none of these problems with this new litter box. I am pleasantly surprised by how simple it is, but yet it works perfectly. It can connect to your phone if that is something that you’re interested in it also weighs your cats when they’re in there and it let you know when someone is using the restroom. I don’t need to know every time my cats use the litter box so I disable that but you’re still able to hit the clean button that is on the front of the actual litter box. I think it’s very attractive. I think it’s super durable. It’s pet friendly. It’s perfect. By the way, I have three grown cats that use it and they’re all good size cats at least by the weights that I’m getting from The litter box I might need to put my little furry friends on a diet.

I purchased this self cleaning litter box last December 2025, so we've had plenty of time to see it in action. For the price, I feel like it's a great investment. 1. Functionality - we have 2 adult cats both around 10-12 lbs each. They fit in the litter box well and are able to use it seemingly easily. The unit waits well after it's been used before it cleans itself, which prevents the cats from freaking out because it moved while they were still using it (as you probably already know, some cats can be real finnicky about automated things when they make noises or start moving on their own. Cats just freak out about that stuff.) 2. Ease of setting up - There is an app that you can download to track and maintain the little box. It'll alert you when the box has been used, when it's cleaning, etc. You can also activate the unit to clean/clear out when it's been used. It was SUPER easy to download the app, connect it to our wifi, and get it going. We have the litter box about 25-30 feet from the router and it works/connects just fine. 3. Convenience - having 2 cats means twice the everything - caring, feeding, and, of course, twice the bathroom time! With manual litter boxes, I would typically clean it out every morning (sometimes every other) to keep a more healthy, hygenic space for them to go to the bathroom. With this automatic litter box, I can hold of on cleaning for right around 5-6 days (give or take). That's a HUGE deal to me because it saves time and having to scoop scoop scoop. The waste bin at the bottom of the litter box can hold quite of bit of waste and, surprisingly, disperses it naturally as it falls in. The unit comes with a fragrance bar that keeps the odor from getting out of hand. I do have a couple of suggestions/tips should you decide to pull the trigger and buy one: It's important that you find a good, compatible litter type for this unit. We used to use Pretty Litter, but that crystal type cat litter will not work with this unit. We started buying the 40 lb option available at Costco right now and it works GREAT with this unit. Also, the unit sits atop 4 4 inch(ish) tall legs so that the litter tray can slide underneath it. Because it sits a little high, we placed a little stepping box/block in front of the litter box so that our kitties can get in and out of it fairly easy (anything to entice the boys to using the box). Overall, this is a great purchase especially if you have more than one fur buddy in the house. It has helped to cut down on scoop time and frequency and is incredibly easy to set up and get working, AND it's super effective in what it's made for. A little side note: this is especially convenient when we go out of town for 2-3 days and don't have to ask the friends who come by to feed the boys to ALSO clean up their pee/poop. I highly recommend grabbing one if you're looking cut down on scoop time and frequency.

Not a paid review or free product. Just a woman who rescues cats. 3 stars as of now bc you have to have Wifi in order for it to work w the app. Not sure if the wifi has to be connected for it to work properly but I’m guessing so. That’s my only complaint or concern as of now more of a safety concern for my cats I’m worried about a miss connection while my cats are inside. The top is open but the way it dumps out is my concern. It worked pretty much right out of the box that was nice! Just need to attach feet and box underneath which was simple. The legs wouldn’t work Left Left and Right Right I had to put them opposite of each other which is fine but it said to put them on each side L L and R R I think it was just the little sticker thing was on the wrong feet. (Like I said it didn’t matter). I’m trying to add anything I was curious about before I ordered. I have an overweight cat he fits inside. He’s about 21pounds and fits. So large cats will fit which is lovely! That was a question I had for sure. I hve all size cats from 6 pounds to 21pounds. The box itself isn’t huge again that’s nice!! Came w two rolls of liners also nice. This works well I’m small spaces unlike a litter robot which I did not like it was hard to clean this one seems like it will be easy. I’ll def update later and add anything else I think of. But my cats went straight to it so I think it would be good for any cats of any size. It weighs the cats but my big boys weight is off. The other cats seem to have the correct weight except him it could be his weight is messing the sensor up or not weighing properly. But the other kitties weights are fine. So idk if that’s an issue that they need to work on or? Edit it’s been a couple weeks now the cats have adjusted pretty well a few things could be improved but overall as far as now I’m pretty happy w the purchase. 1 thing tht could be improved is the front height the cats knock litter well one specific cat she is the newest rescue here and she makes one hell of a mess. If the front was up a little higher like an inch it would be perfect. 2 thing the box drawer could be a little bigger IF u have multiple cats it has to be changed daily if u have one cat it would be great for days for sure 3 I can’t figure out how to clean down between the roll part and base so tht gets a little messy idk if it comes apart it might and it might just be a me issue lol but if it doesn’t come out every now and then u have a little mess on it. The part tht rolls the poopy litter sometimes get stuck between the base and that and that’s what I’m talking about So would I recommend this yeah I would recommend it it’s a decent price it’s safe for the cats and that is my main concern when I looked into these. The sensor has worked great and no kitty has gotten hurt or stuck or anything. Would I buy again probably so but I need a bigger one and if they made just a couple changes I’d absolutely re purchase this. It’s been working goodhad a couple stops but it was an easy fix.

I'm very happy with this litter box. I have a Litter Robot that works well but we recently rescued 4 feral kittens from our backyard and needed to expand litter box access. This is less bulky and much less expensive. It does sit up pretty high off the ground so you may need some kind of step in front. My kittens had already been exposed to traditional litter boxes as well as the robot so they had no issues with this one. As soon as they heard litter being poured they were in it. We lock the kittens up at night in a cat condo and this fits inside. It's a snug fit but we'll worth a little maneuvering to always have fresh litter. I was using a good size storage container as a litter box and even that was not big enough for them, I was cleaning it daily but that was not enough to keep them happy so they were starting to find "clean" places to go outside of the litter box. Since adding this box, that problem has stopped and the litter box aroma is gone. There is the smell when they first go, but once the box cycles that quickly goes away. I've had the box less than a week, but so far it has worked perfectly. Not all the kittens bury their poo so I have had some smears on the box as it rotates, the plastic is very smooth and I have been able to easily wipe the smears clean with a wet paper towel. I have not connected it to wifi to try those features, I probably will eventually but clean litter with no smell was my priority and this box has done that well.

The sensors stop the machine instantly if he’s near or inside, giving us real peace of mind every time it runs. Cleaning it is a breeze. The large waste bin and the included roll liners make emptying quick, clean, and mess-free — literally takes just a couple minutes every few days. You genuinely don’t need the app to run the box — the physical buttons on the unit handle everything perfectly. The app itself *did* notify us about cleaning cycles and when the bin was full, which was handy, but the personal information, data, and accounts it had access to from my phone is really concerning. It had access and pulls way too much info, so I’d be very cautious with it and strongly recommend skipping the app entirely for privacy reasons. Overall, the core product is solid and does exactly what it promises. If the app weren’t such a major privacy red flag, this would easily be 4 stars. Still very much worth it for the hassle-free litter experience with our male cat.

Overall works great as a self-cleaning litter box! My wife and I both love it and that it’s safe for the cats as ours aren’t the smartest. Only reason it got 4 stars was that it gets fairly dirty on top when it flips upsidown to dump the litter clumps out and the litter slides down the top of it. Leaves brown marks all on it. Not really a faulty design, just wish it came with a way to clean it other than just wiping it down with sanitizer wipes. My only other thing with it is that when it’s getting full underneath and it stays closed (to let you know to empty the tray) it has overfilled it at times to the point that by sliding the catcher tray out, litter clumps will be shoved off the back of it and pile up underneath the rear of the litter box. It’d probably be fine if we emptied it more often. Just my only critiques. Overall we love it and won’t be switching anytime soon!
