I've been a bit skeptical of self cleaning litter boxes for awhile now, but one of my cats has grown especially picky in her old age and will not use a litter box that isn't pristine. This was my last resort to keep her happy, and now I'm a total believer. Self cleaning litter boxes are awesome. Set up is simple, and managing them via the app has been painless so far. Occasionally one (oh yeah, did I mention I got a second one after a few weeks with the first??) will get stuck in the upside down position, but giving the collection tray a small shake to evenly distribute the waste litter fixes this. With 4 cats and two boxes, I empty the collection tray about one a week on each machine and it takes 5-10 minutes tops. They save me a tremendous amount of time and effort. The cats took to them quickly, with even the most sensitive one adjusting in about a week. The machines are quiet, reliable, and do a great job of keeping the odor down. When I start to smell even the faintest whiff of litter, I know it's time to fully replace the litter, which these machines also have a button for. A complete clean only takes a couple minutes more than emptying out the collection tray. All told these two machines have taken the litter box from a daily chore to something I only think about a couple times a week. This litter box has genuinely made my life easier. I would say it changed my life, but I don't want to sound overly dramatic. If something were to happen to it, I would absolutely buy it again. I've owned it for close to six months, and I've been very surprised by how reliable it is. I've never experienced any glitches. My cats go in and out, and after a reasonable amount of time, it goes into cleaning mode and cleans itself. It's amazing for someone with three cats. The collection tray is very easy to slide out when it's time to replace the bag. The bags that were included are also very good quality. I've never had any tears or mishaps. I never thought I'd be able to free myself from constantly scooping because the automatic litter boxes I had seen were completely out of my price range. I'm very thankful to have found such a good product at such a reasonable price. I haven't downloaded the app yet, so I haven't had the opportunity to explore all of its features or customize the cleaning settings. Because of that, I don't feel it's fair to comment on anything I haven't personally tested. I have been satisfied overall with this self-cleaning litter box so far. I have 3 cats and scooping multiple litter boxes daily was taking up a lot of time and money with a lot of wasted litter. Only 1 of my 3 cats are using it. I feel like it could be a bit bigger. It was easy to set up, the box doesn't smell, it's easy to change the bag, if a cat gets too close when cleaning it automatically stops so they don't get injured and it doesn't take up much space. I feel this is a good litter box for an affordable price. I did not want to spend $500 on a box that I wasn't sure the cats would use. It keeps the litter box clean all day without me having to scoop, and there's virtually no odor anymore. My cat adjusted to it quickly, and I love knowing they always have a fresh, clean place to use. The size was what I expected. This is our second self-cleaning litter pan. Overall, they work great! What we like about this one is that it has an open top. we purchased a cat litter mat for underneath, used the provided liner, placed the cat litter up to the marked line and our cat walked around it several times and eventually jumped in! I think he needed to see it was safe and a "litter" box. The first few times it would run through the cycle of emptying itself- our kitty was jumpy, hissed, growled, slapped at the fancy litter pan. However, he would still use it. Now he's a pro! We are very pleased! Hubby said very easy to assemble- just the legs, bag and it was ready! The other litter pan is a different company and took over two hours- though they are both very nice! Cleaning is easy! stable when kitty is inside- so far safe.... Our kitty is about 3 years old, 11.9 pounds and very outgoing but can be flighty- We were worried he would act scaredy but so far, he has not. ... show more

I bought it over 6 months ago and it's been working perfectly. I like it because it helps me save money on litter. (After trying several litter options, the one that works best is the clumping litter from the hammer brand). It is easy to clean and very effective with managing odors. Some of the features that I also like is the weight and use tracking that you can access through the app. It was a smart purchase. My cat got used to it with no problem. At first, I had the Self-Cleaning Litter Box where my cat could easily find it but after a week or so, I put it in a corner under a shelve and he didn't have any problem to locate it and continue using it. With the Self-Cleaning Litter Box, you only have to care about replacing the liner bag periodically and cleaning the sediments that eventually stick to the box (I use disinfecting wipes for that purpose). Something I think could be improved is the documentation for taking it apart and troubleshooting. (It can be intuitive, but I wanted to feel like I knew what I was doing when I first tried to take it apart for a deep cleaning. I have had this litter box for about 3 weeks now. Overall, I like this litter box. It has an app that tells me when my cat uses it and gives info on his weight. The litter box is very quiet. I never hear it clean. The litter also doesn’t fall out when it cleans. This was an issue that my previous enclosed electric litter box did. One of the issues of this box is that I feel it’s rather small for large cats. I have a 16lb cat and he’s large. He’s figured out how to use it given his size. But there’s very little space for him to adjust himself. That would be my only issue. The advertise that it is for cats up to 22lbs and I find that to be hard to believe if my 16lb cat can barely fit. One last thing, this litter box needs to be on a hard surface. If it is on carpet, the sensors will not work and it will affect the litter box working effectively. Overall, this is a good litter box for the price. I’ve been really happy with this self-cleaning litter box! My 10-year-old Siamese had no trouble figuring it out and jumps in without hesitation. The sensor works great, the cleaning cycle is reliable, and not having to scoop the litter box every day has been such a time saver. The only thing I’d love to see in a future version is a small inner rim or pan-style design to help keep cats from using the very edge of the litter box, which would make weekly deep cleaning even easier. The few times my family thought it had “stopped working,” it turned out the waste bin simply needed to be emptied, so it was definitely user error rather than a problem with the product. Overall, it’s been a great purchase, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to make litter box maintenance much easier. ... show more
