Update: Its about a 4.5 star item. The new model seems easier to clean. Connecting the litter box to the app was easy. Great litter box. I will update my experience with the new model after a few months of using it. 2024 Old Model: It works great but after a while it would not clean as effectively as before. The bag would fill faster. The old model was difficult to clean. The old model would randomly clean and disconnect from the app. But overall I really like the item. I would definitely purchase again. No odor and no spills.

I can’t believe I waited this long to get the Petcove Automatic Litter Box! With two cats, I felt like I was constantly scooping just to keep up. Now it cleans itself after every use, and I haven’t had to touch a litter scoop in weeks. Total freedom! Setup was a breeze—plug it in, add litter, and you’re done. It’s super quiet, so my cats weren’t scared of it at all. In fact, they were curious for about a day and then went right back to business like nothing changed. The waste drawer seals in odors so well that I honestly forget it’s even there until it’s time to empty it. Yes, it’s a bit larger than a regular box, but it’s worth every inch of space. And as long as you use a good clumping litter, it works perfectly—no jams, no mess, no smell. If you’re on the fence, just do it. This thing is a lifesaver, a timesaver, and my house smells fresher than ever. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

I've had this automatic litter box for about 7 months. The lifetime warranty was one of the primary reasons I decided I would purchase this one. The affordable price (compared to some other top of the line brands) was the second reason. One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes and had much increased urination, and that's why I decided to add another box to the house (and give the pet cove a try). This is my first automatic box. Without getting in crazy detail, I worked as a professional pet sitter for 15+ years and had heard about some problems with the litter robot brand. Particularly the waste box would fill and block itself causing you to have to shift things or empty it earlier than you should have to. There are three cats and two litter boxes in my house at the moment (because I have an extremely small house). I have this and one regular box. This box works the way that it should, and I appreciate that it does what's expected and gives my cats a clean place to go potty for about a week before I have to do a good cleaning. It has controls for emptying, deodorizing, cleaning, and other things like litter levels. It will automatically stop if your cat steps in it while its running, and it will tell you the amount of waste your cat produced weight-wise. As long as your cats are not suffering with diarrhea, it will keep a fairly clean environment inside, but it does need a good wipe down (or washing) at least once a week for us cleanly people, lol. It advises against harsh cleaners, so I have found success with using baby wipes for wiping down all the walls inside. Personally, when I finish with that, I will gently spray the inside with some aerosol lysol to kill germs. If one of your cats tummy is upset and they have diarrhea, or if you wait more than a week to wipe it out, it will be much more gross experience, lol. A weekly check/maintenance is advised (or more for diarrhea). A traditional litter box will do much better for cats experiencing that problem. But, if no one has diarrhea, and I wipe it down and empty it weekly, that seems to work pretty well for me. I do wish that washing out the inside (or diassembling) was a little bit easier. The primary reason that it's a little more difficult is because there's not a good outlet to dump the water out after you clean it. Water enters and dumps out best from the front hole (where they go in), but I wish that the plastic pieces on the back side actually came completely off - so that you could run water into the front (or back) and have the dirty water run out the other side. Instead, you need run water into the front, wash, and then swirl it around and dump it back out the front too. If you regularly wipe it out like I mentioned though, water washings will be necessary MUCH less often. Weekly wipes and emptying, with as needed litter additions, is the lowest maintenance cleanly method I have found so far. While I would say doing a thorough cleaning at the end of the week takes me just as long as a traditional box, I still think it's worth the money because it gives my cats clean environment to use all the time. And I have the security of knowing that it's protected by a lifetime warranty in case something goes wrong. I feel that is significant for any purchase that is hundreds of dollars. 😁 I would buy it again!

We brought home this Smart Self-Cleaning Litter Box and let me just say, I have zero regrets. It does everything but refill the treat jar. ✔️ It auto-cleans after every... performance. ✔️ Tracks who went, when, and how much. Yes. I get bathroom reports now. (And I will be sharing them like proud parent updates.) ✔️ Odor control?
