I’m in my 20’s but I have hearing loss from a wax production condition I’ve had since I was a child. I have almost no hearing in my left ear now, but on occasion some hearing comes back, so every time I’ve told a doctor about it they just tell me to “clean out my ears better”. Lately I can’t hear anything at all with my left ear and it’s become a problem when I go out or when I’m working, so I decided to buy this hearing aid on a whim because it’s not terribly expensive and it has good reviews. I wasn’t sure it would do anything, but once I figured out how to get it to fit and work, I was impressed! It’s so weird to hear with both ears again! Things are way louder than I thought and its nice to be able to hear again because I haven’t heard much since I was 14. The device is fairly easy to use and it’s way smaller than I thought it would be. The noise cancelling setting is nice because it cuts down on a lot of background noise too but I can still hear. It also comes in a nice case with a cleaning tool which I appreciate because of the wax production issue I have. The only cons I have for this so far is that the volume nob thing is very frustrating to use because I’m not sure how far it’s supposed to go up to because it only goes to 4 but I struggle to switch it to that because it’s very hard to turn without looking at it and I have to hold the device with my left hand and turn the nob with my right by reaching over the back of my head and this usually causes feedback until I’m done fussing with it. The other con is that it does give a lot of feedback for strange reasons like if my head gets to close to certain things or if I wash my hands, or if I go somewhere where there’s air current like wind or air conditioning. The easy fix is just turning the volume down while I’m doing that and turning it back up when it stops, but the volume nob is so finicky it’s kind of a pain. I haven’t gotten to test it in a loud crowded place yet, but I’m hoping to go shopping later this week and I have a work event on Saturday which I usually can’t hear during at all, so I’m hoping that if I get used to it, it’ll work really well for that. I don’t plan to wear it in my house much because I don’t need to, but I’m probably gonna wear it all week to figure out the best way to keep it from ringing. Also the feedback isn’t very bad to me, but it is so loud that other people can hear it from the next room. Also the device itself is very comfortable especially because I’ve always had discomfort with in ear headphones, so I’m glad this doesn’t cause a lot of pain. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with the right ear tube piece as well as the left, the left was just already installed. I have good hearing in my right ear, so I don’t need it, but it’s nice that it was included because I thought it only came with the left piece. ... show more

I love this hearing aids, the sound is very clear and it fit comfortably inside your ears. But unfortunately it’s making noise that people near me find annoying. Sometimes I want to be discreet but the noise always gives me away. I tried changing the battery more often but it still doing that. This was a good product. The lady whom it was purchased for, still has an issue with the fact that she has a hearing problem. But this product was small enough that it could be concealed behind her ear with very little difficulty. Good product. Batteries could last a little longer. It works very well and for that price it is hard to beat. Initially one may have to fiddle around a little bit to get the amplification adjusted just right. Also since the sound tube is rather small it can get clogged quite easily and needs to be cleaned what is not difficult by unscrewing it and run the furnished wire through a couple of times. The battery also last for quite a long time. Over all it compares very favorably with units many, many more times more expensive. If you notice some whistling, which is feedback, reduce the volume. One star is the least you can give. Worked about 10 days and had horrible feedback no matter how you adjusted it. Even tried new battery but no. Waste of money.
